Lay woke up two hours later to the sounds of Suho whimpering, and for once, the elder was clinging onto him instead of the other way around. Looking to his side, he frowned, watching the other already sweating buckets and soaking right through his shirt. He tried to move his arm, wrenching it out of the other’s tight hold to try and card his fingers through his calling’s damp locks. “Suho,” he gently called out, watching as the elder’s face scrunched up and his hold around him tightened even more, “Junmyeon.”   A whimper escaped Suho’s lips again, turning away from the hand and on his side facing away from Lay. The latter frowned, reaching out to pull him towards him again. “Junmyeon, wake up.” He winced when a barrier of water suddenly engulfed his calling and watched as gills formed on the elder’s neck again so he could breathe underwater. He still didn’t understand how that worked, but they were all different from normal users.   “Junmyeon,” he called out once more before reaching into the water to turn the man onto his back again. He ignored the dampening sheets and his soaked clothes before he in a deep breath and dove into the barrier to place his lips on top of his calling’s downes. He squinted his eyes, trying to get used to the liquid against them again as he tried to coax his calling into calming down by gently moving his lips with his.   After a few seconds, he started to smile seeing Suho’s eyes opening slowly as he instinctively kissed back. That’s when he started to push himself out of the water cocoon, feeling the water drag him down as Suho tried to diffuse it back into the air. He in another deep breath once he hit fresh air, watching as the gills started to disappear again from his calling’s neck. He still thought those were weird.   “Junmyeon?” he questioned cautiously, softly as he reached out with a wet hand to move his boyfriend’s damp fringe from his eyes, “Are you okay?”   Suho blearily looked up at the ceiling before tilting his head and trying to focus on the concerned gaze his boyfriend was directing at him. He naturally tilted his head into the hand now carding fingers through his hair before he let out a breath he didn’t know he had been holding. “Yeah,” he breathed out, reaching out to grab Lay’s free hand and hold it in his own against his chest. The latter instantly recognized the sad yet conflicted look in the elder’s eyes. “We’re broken, huh?”   Lay didn’t even try to hide his own sadness, shifting his hand so they could link fingers with each other. He gave the other a sad smile. “Yeah, we’re broken.”   “How did it get this bad?”   The king of two lands couldn’t come up with an answer for that. He just tried to smile brighter at him, moving his hand to caress the elder’s cheek lovingly despite the obvious nightmare the other had. “Do you want to go shower and then meet up with the others, Junmyeon?” He didn’t want to ask what exactly happened in it.   Suho continued to stare up at his king. They were both being strong for each other, and he didn’t know how long they could keep it up. It was only a matter of time, he thought. He let out a little breath, tugging on his boyfriend’s hand to make him lean towards him. A small, playful smile pulled at his lips as Lay rolled his eyes, his dimple appearing before he voluntarily leaned down all the way to kiss him on the lips.   It shouldn’t happen between two people who were supposedly falling out of love with each other, but they still felt the little spark as they molded their lips together – something Lay sometimes felt when he was with Luhan. Sighing contently, Lay moved so he was straddling the other, bodies fitting together perfectly. He couldn’t help but compare after the recent events, thinking how well Suho now knows his body as much as Luhan did long ago. He moaned, feeling Suho grip at his hips harshly before he was gently to his back.   What a contrast.   Lay gasped, eyes rolling into the back of his head when Suho moved his lips and trailed them down his sensitive neck, causing him to buck up into his calling reflexively. His hands quickly grabbed onto the back of the elder’s shirt, now blindly trying to take it off of him. “Jun,” he panted out, irises flickering and swirling, making him look crazed. “Jun,” he quickly whined out after, causing the other to chuckle.   “So impatient,” Suho mumbled into his neck, making the other keen against him. “So sensitive after all these years.”   “Junmyeon!” he squealed, feeling fingers tracing down one side of his neck while a pair of lips trailed down the other side. He arched his back, trying to tug the elder impossibly closer to him.   Suho smiled at his handiwork, slowly making his way down and manipulating the water in his boyfriend’s clothes to fly away to some other part of the room. He hummed against the warm skin, feeling Lay pant underneath him, as he dragged the other’s now dry shirt up slowly to reveal surprisingly pale skin. “Yixing,” he breathed out, his right hand splaying out on the other’s exposed, taut stomach right under the shirt, “I just remembered something.” He laughed when a high-pitched whine escaped his boyfriend’s mouth.   “Junmyeon! Stop stalling!”   “I’m just saying,” the other murmured, moving down to place butterfly kisses all over the other’s fluttering abdomen. He smiled softly, placing one of the gentlest kisses Lay had ever felt right below his belly button on his lower stomach. “You said we were supposed to celebrate something seven days ago.” He hummed in thought, placing another kiss right above the other’s waistband. “Do you think men can have children, Yixing?”   “What?” Lay breathed out, caught off-guard and eyes shooting wide open as he lifted his head up enough to look down at his calling, “Children?”   Suho shrugged, moving back up so he could look down at his calling’s flushed face. He watched with care in his eyes as the other leaned his head back on the pillow. “Yes,” he chuckled out, leaning down to gently rub their noses together affectionately. Lay swore he felt his heart jump out of his chest at the action. “You are one of the greatest healers of our time. It’s only right I ask you if it is possible for men to have children.”   “Why?” Lay whispered out, continuing to look up at the other with wide eyes. A shiver ran down his spine when he felt Suho gently start to rub his lower stomach.   “Because the king needs an heir in the future.”   The healer’s mind suddenly blanked out, not expecting that at all. “What?” he questioned again, great mood slowly going away, “An heir?”   Suho chuckled at the other’s shocked responses before leaning down to place butterfly kisses all over the younger’s neck to try and get him in the mood again. “I mean,” he continued on, literally feeling the younger’s conflicting thoughts and emotions with what was happening right then, “Without a woman to bear an heir, a man would have to become pregnant instead. Also, since you already have a calling, I don’t think it’d be fair for you to have relations with a woman just to have a child.”   “B-But–”   “Think about it?” Suho questioned instead, moving up to give Lay a distracting kiss that left them both breathless. He smiled in the kiss, feeling his own heart flutter before pulling away to mumble against his lips. “Even if we’re broken, I think you would look amazing with a child we can call our own.”   Hazily looking up at his water user, Lay tried to think about, eventually just nodding when he felt Suho trail his hand up his thigh. He whined, trying to wiggle around to get where he wanted his boyfriend. “Junmyeon.”   “Give me an answer, Xing.”   “I’ll think about it!”   Suho smiled down at his boyfriend amused, finally palming him through his pants and receiving a loud moan in response. “Try and figure it out for me, okay?” he softly reassured, letting Lay rut against him impatiently to try and get off. “I love you, Yixing.”   Lay whined again, hands moving to tangle in the elder’s hair before pulling him down and smashing their lips together. Suho could only hope that the king just said he loved him too, especially when Lay comes embarrassingly fast against him before he’s squirming under him to try and get out from under the elder.   Laughing, Suho tilted his body enough for Lay to take in deep breaths before trying to roll over enough so they could both go to the bathroom for a shower, amongst other things. He stopped in the middle of his tracks though, suddenly remembering what the other said. “Do you really want to know what we were supposed to celebrate seven days ago, Junmyeon?” he quietly asked. He felt Suho’s curious gaze on the back of his head.   “It can’t be a bad thing if we’re supposed to celebrate it, right?”   Lay softly smiled, finally getting off of the bed to make his way to the bathroom on wobbly legs, knowing the elder would easily follow him. “Every seven years, every cell in our entire body is replaced,” he started off, already halfway to the bathroom before he looked back to a confused Suho with the same small genuine smile on his face, “You have literally and figuratively touched me in ways he never will again.”   Suho sat there at a loss, watching as Lay continued on his way into the bathroom. The king was still as confusing as when he first met him years ago, he was starting to wonder if the other had two different personalities and mindsets none of them knew about. But as the words kept replaying itself in his head, he couldn’t help the small smile that bloomed on his face as well. That soaring feeling he used to get came back, and now he wasn’t sure if they were truly falling apart or going through a terribly long and very unfortunate ride down into the depths of hell before they were able to come back up to the heavens. He suddenly flinched when Lay popped his head back out after turning on the shower.   “As a genuine answer to your other question, I will try and figure out if men can become pregnant.” He scrunched his nose in thought. “Although, I have seen pregnant women before, and they’re always hormonal and hitting things. I’ve had to heal one too many men because of their significant other’s monstrous strength while pregnant. I swear, every woman is a power user, and they don’t even know it.”   The small smile on Suho’s face started to grow wider and wider the longer his calling talked about pregnant women and their unusual, monstrous strength until he simply started laughing because he really hadn’t felt that lighthearted in a long time.   Lay pouted at the sudden laughter coming from the older. “What?”   “You’re just absolutely adorable but incredibly y at the same time. How did I even get you? I must’ve been incredibly out of luck in my past life to get you in this one.”   The king’s pout slowly turned into a knowing smile as the elder continued to laugh. He started to laugh himself, reaching out a hand as a way for the other to come to him. “Come on, Junmyeon,” he called out, watching as Suho shook his head to try and stop the laughter before climbing off of the bed, “I think that’s enough talking for now.”   Once Suho made it to the younger, he smiled brilliantly at him, leaning up a bit to kiss him on the lips. “I love you, Yixing,” he breathed out, causing the other to whine in embarrassment as he breathed it again directly on his neck then left a kiss on it.   “Stop that, or we’re going to be even more late!”   “‘More late’?” Suho repeated back teasingly, gently guiding the younger back into the bathroom with a strong arm around his waist, “What do you mean by that, Xing?”   Lay hummed happily as he moved to wrap his arms around the other’s neck, guiding their lips back together for a kiss. They only broke apart when he felt the bathroom counter dig into his back. “I somewhat need you inside of me right now.” He smirked when the other groaned and leaned forward to place kisses on his neck again. “Can you deliver?”   Suho smirked back against his neck. “Oh. You know I can deliver, Yixing.” Who cared if they were late? He was with the king. He hummed contently when a moan ripped through the air around them. They could never be late.   ...   For the past thirty minutes, Kris had been grinning happily, completely amused with the way his calling had been looking at him while asking him questions after telling some of his life’s stories from his past that he could remember. The elder seemed much more energetic after lying down for a few minutes and actually taking a nap earlier before waking up again.   “So, why should I trust you?” Luhan suddenly asked, sitting on one side of his bed cross-legged while Kris sat opposite him in the same position, barely bumping knees with each other, “I just met you seven days ago, and I have no recollection of ever seeing somebody like you in our land before.”   “Technically,” Kris started off with a grimace on his face, “We met each other a long time ago under unfavorable circumstances.”   “Really?”   The younger nodded. “You somewhat almost killed me.”   Luhan’s mouth fell open in shock before he opened and closed his mouth like a fish. It took a few seconds for him to come back to normal. “Why would I do that?!” he shrieked out, knowing what happened to callings if one of them died.   “You were a bit crazy.”   The elder rolled his eyes. “How was I a bit crazy?” Kris suddenly stared at Luhan intently, wondering if what he was about to say would be okay or not. After a few silent seconds of simply observing the telekinesis user, the elder pouted at the lack of response. “Kris?” he questioned again, about to reach out and snap him out of his thoughts, but he received a response before he could talk more.   Kris’ response was soft-spoken. “You will know what I mean when you remember your past.” A frown and downcast eyes were what he earned, and he laughed. “What, Lu?”   “Let me try and open up a past memory,” the elder whispered, causing his eyes to widen.   “What?”   “I mean,” Luhan quickly tried to explain, looking back up into Kris’ eyes, “I never told you why I burst into tears the other day…”   The flight user shrugged, “I figured you would tell me on your own when you were ready.” A few minutes of silence passed with Luhan looking at him surprised. He bit his lip anxiously. “What?”   “Nobody let me tell anything about myself when I was ready.”   Kris looked at him weirdly. “What do you mean by that?”   This time, Luhan shrugged as he looked down conflicted. “Tao was always eager to learn something new about anything or anyone since he was pretty much locked up when we were younger. Baekhyun was simply just curious about everything and, and even then, I think he always found out a way to all the information he wanted someway or another. Um, D.O. didn’t really care, but he wasn’t very… appreciative of me first? I don’t know how to describe it.”   The younger frowned at the explanation before quietly asking, “What about Chanyeol and Lay? Can you remember them?” He watched as the other took a minute before shaking his head. “Well, I trust you. So, you can tell me whenever you’re ready.”   “What?” Luhan breathed out, looking up at him with wide eyes, “You trust me?”   The frown deepened on Kris’ face before he reached out to card his fingers through the elder’s hair once and stilling. He waited as Luhan slightly tilted his head into his hand, continuing to stare into his eyes until they shifted colors and were swirling before he talked again. “Of course I trust you. We might’ve hated each other at first, but I think that kind of relationship is exciting. You’re my calling, so no matter what, I’ll be by your side whether you want me to or not.”   Luhan minutely nodded, gaze softening as he took in the younger’s words. He barely nuzzled his cheek into the larger hand before he explained himself. “I had a dream the other night, about the past queen,” he softly said, watching as Kris’ eyes widened in surprise, “My parents died when I was young and I was living by myself in a different village not in the Land of Day nor the Land of Night. She suddenly came one day, surprising everybody I knew, and after staying a few days, tested me on my abilities when she heard from others that I was different in my strengths. For some reason, she saw something in me she couldn’t see in anyone else and brought me back to this kingdom.”   Kris hummed in acknowledgment, letting the elder grab the hand tangled in his hair to bring down to rest on his knee.   “The queen became like my second mother. I started to remember scenes where she scolded me for talking while eating but she wiped my mouth anyways. I remembered playing around and catching things in the air when she tossed things to me. She even took care of me when I got sick…” he trailed off, wondering if she really did. “Actually, she took me to… the king maybe? I think he was the one who healed me. He was like my second dad too…”   “Lu?” Kris questioned softly, allowing the elder to play with his fingers. Watching as the other’s eyes started to glaze over, he frowned, wiggling forward until their knees actually bumped together. “Hey, Lu,” he softly said, making sure to catch his calling’s eyes trying to focus back to the present, “What memory do you want to try and open up?”   Luhan bit his lip, shaking his head a bit to focus completely on the other in front of him. “Um,” he mumbled as he tried to get his thoughts together, “I want to tell you why I cried first.”   The other looked at him questioningly before nodding and lacing their fingers again. “Go ahead.”   Luhan took a deep, shaky breath, remembering back to when he and Kris were trying to train together in the large training room only for the younger to start playing around and drag him off the ground. Tears started to fill the corners of his eyes as he tried to calm himself down. “When I learned I could lock away certain parts of my mind, I immediately tried to lock away the fear I had of heights. I’m so scared of it, and it surprised me that it wasn’t locked away still. I’ve been trying to lock it away again, but I just… I just can’t.”   Kris felt his chest constrict at the sight of tears slowly falling down the elder’s cheeks. He didn’t mean to traumatize him that day. He just wanted to have some more fun. Maybe his mind got reset? He wasn’t sure. “I’m sorry, Luhan,” he gently said, reaching out with his other hand to wipe away the falling tears, “I didn’t know, but I wouldn’t let you fall, you know? I’ll be sure to catch you.” A fresh wave of tears was let go, and he panicked. “Luhan!” He immediately moved forward, pulling the other against him and holding him tight, making them fall to their sides on the bed. “Luhan, I didn’t mean to make you cry… Again.”   The elder whimpered, burying his face in the taller man’s chest. “I just,” he breathed out, trying to calm himself, “I don’t know why that triggered something in me.”   Humming briefly, Kris let out a sigh as he rubbed the other’s back soothingly. He didn’t question that any further. He waited a few minutes until Luhan seemed to calm down before he placed a barely noticeable kiss on top of the elder’s head. “Do you still want to try and open up a memory?” He felt Luhan pause against him before he nodded slowly.   “Can you hold me when I try?”   “Huh?” Kris slipped out, pulling back to try and look down at the elder. It didn’t work. “Lu.”   “I don’t know what will open up,” Luhan whispered out, tilting back some so he could look up at the younger.   And Kris felt tempted to kiss his tears away, but he didn’t. He nodded instead, warm look in his eyes as Luhan moved back in underneath his chin. “Of course, Lu.” He felt the nod against his neck before his eyes widened, feeling Luhan take in deep breaths against him. He waited a few minutes, trying to look down and see what his calling was doing only to see a light purple glow spread out around Luhan’s body and eventually cover his own. He almost panicked and moved away if it weren’t for Luhan’s arms tightening around his waist to keep him in place. He quickly looked around himself to see the glow almost engulfing him too until his eyes widened and he stared straight ahead, watching as flashes of white flew across his vision.   After a minute of the white flashes, he heard a faint whimper against him and then saw flashes of what looked like a younger Luhan and a younger Chanyeol running around. His eyes darted to try and see what was going on in front of him. In what felt like hours watching the scene in front of him play was only five minutes before Luhan suddenly pulled back away from him some and in a deep breath. He mimicked the elder’s breath, loosening his arms so the elder could breathe.   He had no idea what he just witnessed, slowly moving his gaze down to stare at Luhan who looked just as confused as he but with his eyes completely glowing amethyst. “L-Lu?” he stuttered out, not realizing the death grip the other had on his shirt, “Lu Han?”   It took another few minutes for Luhan to come back, the glow finally fading away and his eyes returning to normal with the specks lingering. The elder slowly shifted his gaze up, and it took another minute until an annoyed look entered his eyes. Kris flinched when he was tugged forward.   “Lu?” he questioned again, trying to soothe the other by rubbing his side, “Are you okay?”   Luhan frowned, finally letting go of Kris to roll off the bed. “I think it’s time we go to the rest of the group.”   The younger quickly nodded, rolling off on his side as well and quickly hurrying after the other. He was surprised to see Luhan manipulate the broken shards of glass into the trashcan off to the corner of the room before he followed him out. He flinched when he heard the door slam shut behind him. Well, he thought, He recovered some more of his power back at least.   ...   Punch.   Punch.   Punch.   “Soo!” Kai suddenly shouted out, causing everybody in the room to flinch or fall over from the sudden outburst. The teleportation user turned to glare down at his calling who just gave him a bored stare in return. “Stop punching me!”   “But I’m bored,” the elder simply responded back, one hand resting on Kai’s foot while his other hand was still raised up in a fist ready to punch the other’s calf again. He sat cross-legged on the floor right next to the younger as he continued to look over notes with Xiumin and Chen.   “Well, do something else other than punch me.”   “But I like punching you.”   “I’ve been awake for seven days, and that’s all you want to do when you’re bored?”   D.O. rolled his eyes, punching him again just for the fun of it – “Ow!” “There are clearly other things I could be doing other than punching you, but this seems to be more fun at a time like this.”   Tao sighed as Baekhyun snickered from their place still by the door. “But it’s starting to hurt, Soo,” Kai whined, going back to reading the notes in front of him, “I bet it’s going to bruise, and I won’t be able to walk later.”   “Well, Lay can just heal you later if you end up becoming paralyzed.”   The younger’s brows furrowed in confusion, looking back down to his calling. “Why would I be– Kyungsoo!” he yelped out at the end, trying to flinch away when he saw the mischievous glint in the elder’s eyes. “But we still haven’t had– Ow!”   D.O. smirked up at him before sighing in annoyance a minute later. He turned around, situating himself to just wrap an arm around Kai’s leg so he could lean back comfortable against the table. He stared blankly at Baekhyun ahead of him, the rest of their friends doing their own things in the room until their king arrived. Kai took that as his chance to finally relax and focus back on the task at hand.   It was only a minute later until he felt a vice grip on his lower calf. His eyes widened, trying to kick off his calling but getting nowhere with it. “Kyungsoo! Stop it!”   “But Jongin,” D.O. slightly whined out, causing Kai to shiver at his real name, “I’m really bored.”   Kai frowned, waiting for the elder to just wrap his arm around his leg again, gently, before looking back at the papers in front of him. “Then go punch Baekhyun or something.”   “What?!” the light user yelped out, eyes widening in fear as the mischievous glint returned to the earth user’s eyes, “You can’t let go of him unless you want what happens to happen to him again!” He ended up yelping anyways when a metal cup hit him on the shoulder from the nearby shelf. “D.O!”   The pair ended up snickering, Chen and Chanyeol joining in as Sehun moved away from his halfway resting husband on the ground to join them in looking over notes. The situation calmed down after that, D.O. simply wrapping his arms loosely around Kai’s leg in the form of a lazy hug before he turned next to him to see Chanyeol starting to drift off again. “Chanyeol,” he called out, causing the other to tilt his head to the side to stare at him with bleary eyes, “Thank you.”   Chanyeol’s brows furrowed, everybody looking down to the earth user confused. He tried to process the words in his muddled brain before he let out the only intelligible word he could think of. “Huh?”   D.O. chuckled, giving the other a small smile. “Thank you for giving up part of your life.” He watched in amusement as the other continued to look at him even more confused. “Thank you for helping Lay wake up Jongin through Kris and Luhan.”   “Oh,” the fire user mumbled out, nodded tiredly before giving him a lopsided smile. Sehun’s heart flipped at the sight. Chanyeol’s hair was getting longer and it was currently dyed a darker red, but it looked messy from his spot on the floor. “It was no problem, little master,” he continued on, chuckling himself, “Anything for my best friend.”   D.O. shook his head affectionately at that. Everybody who was close to Chanyeol was considered his best friend, but on the safe side, they all assumed he meant Luhan when he said that. “Thank you anyways, Chanyeol,” he reiterated, laughing when the other just threw an arm up in the air to dismiss the gratitude.   “Ya’ welcome, master.”   Sehun scoffed, kicking his husband’s leg gently. “When are you going to get better, Yeol? You’re like on some type of weird herb or something.”   “Dunno.”   “Really?” the younger deadpanned, giving his husband a dead stare, “Not even full words?”   “Nope!” Chanyeol chirped happily, closing his eyes only to let out a soft snore, “Tired, Hunnie.”   “Just go back to sleep,” the other muttered, rolling his eyes before looking over to Kai and Xiumin, “Do you guys need this one awake?”   “Not a one!” the fire user protested, trying to whack his husband’s leg only to miss completely. He let out a dissatisfied whine.   Xiumin sighed, looking up from his notes to look over at Sehun before tilting his body to try and get a glimpse of Chanyeol. He only saw the man’s legs before shrugging. “I guess not. He’s not really at full capacity to help us anyways.”   Sehun nodded, as he was about to turn back to his husband, only to be cut off when Chen suddenly interrupted his movements out of surprise. “Kai?” the lightning user questioned, causing the other two to look at h

Chapter 2: I know I'm late to the oarty, but I have a request.

MORE XIUCHEN PLEASE.

It just feels like all the other ot12 stories I read, where all the other couples are super important, and Xiuchen just seems to be there.

Like I homestly feel like I'm reading the Sulay/Layhan, Kaisoo, and Chanhun chronicles. It kinda felt like that in the first story too.

And that for me and my Xiuchen shipping heart.

The story is beautiful, and I'll read the story regardless. I just want a little more Xiuchen.

Okay, a LOT more Xiuchen.

But this story is amazing. So just keep doing what you're doing.

Just......can you please put in more Xiuchen please???
