Henry frowned as he kept trying to feed water and nutrients into Suho’s body, trying to heal him enough to be able to stabilize himself without the underlying threat of sudden death. He stared at his friend, steel blue eyes analyzing his body health, and bit his lip when he increased the strength of his power more.   A blue glow started to shine brighter within the dark tunnel as he tried to heal the parts of the brain that were heavily stressed and starting to morph unnaturally from the continual wear on it. “What are you doing to him?” he murmured softly, gaze sad and heart wrenching uncomfortably as Suho whimpered in his sleep, “This isn’t what we planned.”   ...   Sehun instinctively sighed at the instant sound of crackles in the air, waiting until he felt another person enter the room before turning and opening his arms. He grunted at the sudden weight of his best friend falling into him, using his own powers to make the other lighter than he actually is. He looked down at his friend affectionately. “What am I going to do with you?”   Kai frowned as he looked up at him with half-lidded eyes. “When did you get taller?”   “When you fell asleep,” Sehun responded back instantly, smiling when the answer had his best friend laughing. He looked at him carefully, noticing the sheen of sweat covering his body and the weakness in his arms and legs. He tightened his hold on him, feeling Kai clutch onto his top even tighter to prevent himself from falling to the ground. “Why do we need to go back home? Luhan never really explained it to us.”   “He didn’t?” Kai questioned with a pout, trying to get his feet to touch the ground but only losing his balance and relying on Sehun’s sturdy body some more, “I can stand, Sehunnie.”   “In your condition, you’re going to fall asleep before you hit the ground,” Sehun grumbled as he slowly moved with his best friend to have him lie on the couch. He eyed him more then, watching as Kai easily fell asleep when his head hit the pillow, and he smiled, reaching out to comb the hair out of his eyes. “What am I going to seriously do with you?”   The others in the room smiled at the sight. If they didn’t know any better, their relationship could’ve been considered as something more than platonic. They hadn’t really seen Sehun and Kai argue in a long time but watching the youngest user act this way affectionately towards him, it was nice. It was different.   Lay’s smile only grew as he stepped closer to them, hand already reaching out to place it gently on top of Kai’s forehead. Something about their relationship looked familiar, but he couldn’t think of from where. “Would you like me to feed him some extra energy now?” he questioned politely, looking to the crouching Sehun still staring intently at Kai, “Would you rather wait?”   “How long do you think you can toy with one’s energy?” Sehun asked back, throwing their king off-guard. He didn’t mean to sound rude, but it was a legitimate question. It worried him.   “What?”   “You look like you’ve aged significantly since you’ve awakened our three friends.”   Baekhyun looked at him worriedly, shifting his gaze to the king cautiously. “Sehun, do you think now’s the time–”   “Would you have rather our friends dead and stuck in a coma forever?” Lay rebutted, eyes narrowing and shifting colors dangerously as he removed his hand from Kai’s body.   Sehun wasn’t affected by the king’s anger, simply looking up at him with his own fuchsia eyes. “I’m simply saying it’s dangerous to keep going like this, Lay. Chanyeol has noticed too and we could see it in your calling when he was extremely tired as well before this all happened.”   “What are you even talking about? We can’t rest until we capture the mind user controlling him and causing our lands to fall apart from the inside.”   “Sehun is worried you will die before your true given time is up,” Tao tried to gently reason, looking to Sehun worriedly, “He constantly worries about yours and his health.”   Lay let the words sink into his head, his ears automatically open for anything Tao had to say since the seer was born, and he slowly calmed down, irises reverting back to normal. He looked to Sehun who was already staring at Kai again. “We need to exhaust ourselves to capture this ghost, Sehun,” he tried to reason, moving his gaze to Kai’s sleeping face.   “I understand,” Sehun immediately said, leaning over to kiss Kai’s forehead, and they constantly wonder when he matured, “We need to end this quickly, but one of us may die in the process.”   Lay frowned. “Then what do you expect us to do?”   Sehun stayed quiet, staring down at Kai’s sleeping face, and thought about it more. What could they really do? This person was destroying them from the inside out, and if they didn’t move fast now, she will succeed in a short amount of time. “We need to put protection on you at all times,” he softly started out, still staring at his best friend and wondering if he would say the same thing, “We need to bring Chen and Xiumin back here–”   “You’re putting my people at risk, Sehun,” Lay suddenly said, interrupting him with a stern stare, “Anybody could come in through the gates and attack the kingdom.”   Sehun gave the king a look. “If they wanted to attack the kingdom, they would’ve done so by now. We wouldn’t be hiding in fear.”   “He has a point,” Baekhyun quietly voiced, looking to his friends carefully, “We would be placed at every entrance trying to protect our people. They clearly want us. They clearly want you.”   Lay frowned as Sehun continued with a sigh. “We need Xiumin and Chen back here to protect you. We need them to protect you, Tao, and Amber when Kai wakes and takes Baekhyun and me to my homeland. Chanyeol can keep watch on the staff downstairs.” He looked back to Kai sadly. “You just woke up and you have to do so much work to protect us all.”   Baekhyun looked at them sadly before turning to look at Tao. He slightly raised his hand and his calling immediately came forward to link fingers with him, coming in close to kiss his temple and let Baekhyun close his eyes briefly at the intimate feeling. When he opened his eyes again, he shifted his gaze to Amber, looking over their shoulders to see her still resting. They were truly lucky.   Sehun sighed again, attracting the light user’s attention. When he turned back around, Sehun was already stirring Kai awake, doing so gently to not startle the tired man even more. “Kai,” he called gently, clearing his face of his fringe again when he kept shifting, “Hey, Kai. I think we need to go.”   “M’hunnie,” Kai mumbled back, turning onto his side before Sehun suddenly tugged on his ear. He jolted awake. “Sehun!”   The other gave him a small smile, rubbing at his ear in apology. “Luhan said we needed to go there. Are you okay with Lay giving you more energy again?”   Kai sighed tiredly at his best friend’s act, leaning in to the cool hand touching his warm skin. “Yeah,” he breathed out, shifting his gaze up to look at the king, “Luhan didn’t tell you why?”   “No?” Lay questioned back, already reaching forward to give him more energy.   The answer had Kai humming in thought, relishing in the rush of warmth into his body as he looked to Sehun instead, watching him intently. The wind user gave him a sympathetic look back, noticing the other’s body starting to glow brighter with the amount of energy being put into his body. Within a few minutes, Kai looked wide awake, slowly sitting up before they quickly looked to the side when Lay fell back into Baekhyun and Tao’s opened arms in surprise.   “King!” they shouted, quickly getting off of the couch to go to the trio now kneeling on the floor. They watched with wide eyes as Lay’s body continued to glow, instinctively pulling energy from Tao and Baekhyun to keep himself alive.   Sehun was the one who reached out first to put his hand on Lay’s chest, allowing the king to take some of his energy as well. This was what he was afraid of. Lay couldn’t even open his eyes and he already broke out into a sweat. He couldn’t even control his power in this condition – it was a natural defense mechanism for him.   “Let go,” Tao suddenly said, causing the others to look at him confused. He gave them a small smile. “Kai needs to take you two to the Land of Night. I will give all the energy I can to our king to stabilize him again.”   “But Tao–”   “It’s okay, Baekhyun,” Tao reassured, leaning over to kiss him on the forehead this time, “Go.”   Baekhyun eyed him carefully, brows knitted together in his worry before he simply frowned and leaned over to kiss him on the lips. “Keep watch over both of them. Okay?”   Tao gave him another, brighter smile before kissing him one last time. “I will.”   The light user returned his calling’s smile with a shaky one of his own before slowly moving out from under Lay’s weight. The glow separated from his body once he was gone and he stood, reaching out to comb beautiful fingers through Tao’s dark hair. They shared another smile before he looked back to Sehun who was still touching the king’s chest. “We need to get the message to Chen and Xiumin to come back here.”   Sehun looked up at him but it was Kai who answered as he stretched out his body. “We’ll inform them on the way out. We need to go back.”   “Are you sure?” Baekhyun asked, turning to face him surprised, “Are you even ready to go back already?”   Sehun eyed his best friend as he let Lay take some more energy from him. Kai shrugged, tilting his head side to side to stretch his neck as well and let out a yawn. “I don’t want to leave D.O. waiting.”   The answer had all three men awake smiling, Tao reaching around to gently pull Sehun’s hand off of the king’s chest. The latter looked to his friend worriedly before he was simply given a reassuring smile. “We will be fine. Go while Kai still has the energy.”   Sehun and Baekhyun looked back to Kai at the phrase, the former giving his best friend a half-hearted smile before Kai walked up to grab each of their hands.   “Be careful,” Tao called out just as the three started to disappear, Baekhyun giving him a small smile before they left.   ...   Chen looked up at the castle amazed, crystals of frost glittering at any angle imaginable due to the sun shining brightly in the sky. He knew Xiumin’s power had grown exponentially since seven years ago, but to be able to cast a layer of ice around the whole castle was still amazing. It was incredible.   “Make sure you stay close to me, okay?” Xiumin suddenly said, walking up to what used to be a side door leading into the large kitchen of the palace, “I don’t know what’s been going on inside of here since I left.”   Chen looked away from the sparkling ice to his calling, flushing when he saw the spark of amusement in the other’s eyes at his blatant ogling. He pouted. “It’s just really pretty, okay? It’s still amazing how much control you have over your power.”   “Right,” Xiumin drawled out, laughing slightly as his irises started to glow a bit brighter before he turned and held a hand out to touch the ice where there were imprints of his and Jessica’s initials hidden everywhere in the ice.   The pout on Chen’s face didn’t disappear until he had to shield his vision from the sudden blue flash that resulted in Xiumin breaking the barrier. He gasped, covering his face with his arms, until he heard his calling’s laughter and felt his colder hand reaching out to touch his own. He looked over his arm cautiously, peering into Xiumin’s playful gaze and he let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. He laughed slightly. “Yeah. I’m still trying to get used to it.”   “It’s been years,” Xiumin answered back with his own bright smile in place, opening the door and tugging Chen in before re-making the ice wall and closing the door behind them, “You should be used to it by now.”   “But it’s so cold,” Chen mumbled, watching his calling do his work, “And cool. Get it?”   Xiumin refrained from rolling his eyes, making sure to embed his initials into the ice again to prevent Jessica from freaking out about any possible intrusion. “I get it,” he laughed back, quickly hurrying his process so they could head on up to Tao’s room already.   “Good,” Chen said, now a bit more proudly before he heard a cough come from behind them. His eyes widened in shock before instantaneously transforming colors and turning, hand outstretched ready to attack whoever snuck up on them.   “Whoa!” Jessica exclaimed, quickly hiding behind the doorframe, “I didn’t know it was you two!”   “Oh,” Chen breathed out in relief, lowering his hand and waiting for Jessica to peek back out again, “Sorry. We didn’t know you’d come down here so soon either.”   “I felt the ice break,” Jessica explained, slowly revealing herself to her friends while her irises reverted back to normal, “I wanted to make sure everything was okay.”   “Yeah,” Xiumin muttered, turning to eye her now carefully, “Everything is okay. We just needed to come back.” He scanned her body briefly. “Everything okay in here?”   Jessica frowned at his accusation but knew he meant well. She nodded. “There hasn’t been anything out of the ordinary since we iced the building. Even with Chanyeol here, nothing has happened. I still feel the same and I made sure I got in no physical contact with anybody since the interrogation.”   Chen eyed the other ice user the same for a few minutes before looking over his shoulder to Xiumin who finally closed the door behind them. He watched him with interest, irises still faintly glowing, when he turned to walk past him and go towards Jessica. “Xiu?” he questioned quietly, “Is something wrong?”   The experienced ice user shook his head immediately, his gaze catching Jessica’s before he stopped and turned to smile at his calling. “No. I was just making sure.”   The other two frowned at his comment, sharing a look with each other before Xiumin turned back around to quickly go back to him. Chen looked at him shocked and confused, Xiumin easily reaching up to capture his lips with his in a short kiss and he had to stumble backwards a step to catch his balance, his hands coming out to latch onto the smaller man’s hips. He closed his eyes at the cool sensation flooding his body, bringing his love closer to him.   “Jongdae,” Xiumin whispered against his lips in-between lingering pecks, “Go straight to Tao’s room.” Now Chen was confused, opening his eyes to try and focus his stare on his calling still kissing him. “Protect them.”   Chen’s brow furrowed even more, a frown marring his face when Xiumin pulled away to give him a breathtaking smile. He looked at him a bit longer before shifting his gaze to Jessica behind him who was looking away, a blush on her cheeks as she looked over at them every few seconds probably hoping they were done soon. He looked back to Xiumin then and nodded, giving him one last peck. “Okay,” he murmured, bringing him in for a hug this time, “Be safe.” He felt Xiumin smile against his neck before he pulled away, leaving his side immediately and smiling to Jessica on his way out.   The other looked at him clearly confused, looking back to Xiumin just the same. “Sir?” she questioned, bringing out her proper manners.   “Let’s go back to the grand hall,” Xiumin said instead, walking forward right when Chen disappeared out the door. He gave Jessica a kind look as he walked ahead of her. “I have a bad feeling about something.”   Jessica could only look at him worriedly and follow him, not knowing what was going on.   ...   Right when their feet touched the ground, Sehun immediately turned and caught Kai again, Baekhyun instantly falling to his knees and gagging towards the ground. The light user tried to regain control of himself, but he couldn’t remember ever being transported with Kai at such a long distance before. His eyes watered at the discomfort swirling in his stomach just as he felt a hand rubbing over his back soothingly.   “Hey, you okay?” Sehun gently asked, cradling Kai in his lap while using a free hand to make sure Baekhyun felt safe and warm. He winced when the other made another loud gagging sound. “Do you need me to bring you into our home?”   Baekhyun immediately waved his hand back and forth, trying to control his gag reflex while trying to see Sehun and Kai out of the corners of his eyes. He took a big gulp, closing his eyes briefly to stabilize himself, before slowly opening them and looking around at the dark atmosphere. “Where… are we?” he breathed out, turning to look back at his friends. He frowned, seeing Kai already asleep.   Sehun took the time to look around his surroundings, frowning when he could barely recognize the rocks mixed in with the forest of his land. He could see the gates through the trees though so they were close. He hummed in disapproval, irises shifting fuchsia before he looked up, creating a small tornado around them hoping to get his people’s attentions. “We’re near the gate,” he informed, gaze briefly flicking over to Baekhyun when he saw him raise his hand in the air and a ball of light joined his t

Chapter 2: I know I'm late to the oarty, but I have a request.

MORE XIUCHEN PLEASE.

It just feels like all the other ot12 stories I read, where all the other couples are super important, and Xiuchen just seems to be there.

Like I homestly feel like I'm reading the Sulay/Layhan, Kaisoo, and Chanhun chronicles. It kinda felt like that in the first story too.

And that for me and my Xiuchen shipping heart.

The story is beautiful, and I'll read the story regardless. I just want a little more Xiuchen.

Okay, a LOT more Xiuchen.

But this story is amazing. So just keep doing what you're doing.

Just......can you please put in more Xiuchen please???
