“Luhan?” Lay mumbled again, continuing to run his fingers through the other’s hair as tears kept falling down his and Chanyeol’s faces, “Luhan. You don’t know who I am?” They watched as the elder studied them for a few minutes, contemplating the question. “Do you know who we are?” Another broken sob escaped his lips as Luhan slowly shook his head.   “No, I don’t,” the other answered back before shifting his gaze to Chanyeol, “Not really.” The latter in a sharp breath, slowly removing his hand from his best friend’s face.   Baekhyun frowned, walking around the case to look down at Luhan as well. He continued to stare at their old Head Guard, confused at the other’s seemingly sudden memory loss. They watched as Luhan shifted his gaze to the light user instead and smiled. “Hey, Baekhyun.”   Everybody looked at the light user shocked, Baekhyun’s own eyes widening in disbelief. He looked to the king and phoenix across from him, unsure of what to do. He didn’t expect their old Head Guard to greet him so amiably. He watched as Chanyeol gave him a small nod after a few minutes, keeping quiet as tears continued to stream down his face. They briefly tried to communicate through their eyes before the light user looked back down to Luhan and gave him a shaky smile. “Hey, Luhan. How are you?”   Lay retracted his hand from the telekinesis user’s hair, watching as the other gave a rough-sounding chuckle. “I feel tired.” He turned to look at the other two on the other side of him. “And I feel sore all over.” He winced as he tried to move sore limbs and his gaze scanned the room. “Who are these people? Hey, Tao.”   Everybody fell silent at the questions, causing Luhan to look at all of the ones he recognized curiously. Tao stiffly waved as he tightened his grip on Chanyeol he was still supporting. Baekhyun shifted his gaze to look at Lay who was still silently crying. “Do you not recognize our healer and phoenix here, Luhan?” he gently questioned, shifting his gaze to see Luhan frown up at him even more confused.   “No?”   Lay let out another little sob, combined with Chanyeol’s choked up voice, before another set of rapid knocks interrupted their conversation. A few of them turned to look as the door opened to reveal a panic-stricken Amber. “What is it, Amber?” Tao questioned immediately, watching as she just shook her head and focused her stare on Lay.   “D.O. needs you Lay,” she hurriedly said, gaze becoming confused when she noticed her king and phoenix crying. She entered the room quietly, closing the door behind her. “What’s wrong?”   “Hi, Amber,” Luhan voiced out, causing her to look at the other amazed, not expecting to hear a greeting from a man who used to be so rough and, well, dead. She waved dumbly at him, watching as the other smiled back at her, very much alive. “Who’s Lay?”   “Lay?” the fighter questioned back even more confused, shifting her gaze to her breaking king. She didn’t know he’d have succeeded so brilliantly to the point he was still standing afterwards. She was definitely glad he went through with it and lived but frowned at her best friend’s expression.   Suho looked to his calling worriedly, watching as Sehun quickly used his winds to help Lay stand upright so he could walk towards Amber. The wind user looked to his friend before giving Chanyeol a soft kiss on the neck. “I’ll take him to D.O. Help rehydrate them, Suho?” he questioned at the end, waiting for the affirmative nod before Sehun secured Lay’s arm around his shoulders and followed Amber out the door.   The others watched them leave before Suho started to rehydrate his friend again. Kris stared up at his friend worriedly, seriously wondering what had happened in the seven years he’d been gone. “Suho,” he quietly said, letting the other transfer water from the air into him, “What’s going on?”   “Call out your calling’s name,” Chanyeol hoarsely demanded, stare never leaving Luhan’s face, “Kris. Call his name.”   The flight user looked at the fire user warily before complying. “Lu Han.”   The telekinesis user suddenly in a breath of air, irises shifting colors again before he turned to look at the other. “What?” he whispered out, using his power to try and lift himself out of his case. He looked around, seemingly more aware this time. “Where am I?” He shifted his gaze to Tao when he felt the other grab onto his arm to gently push him back into the case. “Tao?”   “Do you not know who this man is?” the time user softly questioned, gesturing to Chanyeol still beside him, “What do you remember, Luhan?”   The other frowned up at him, “What are you talking about?”   “Don’t mention it to him yet,” Chanyeol softly whispered, trying to turn away to exit the room, “If this is true amnesia, we shouldn’t force the memories back. Break it to him softly or else he might break again.” Their friends watched with a sad gaze as Tao let go of the other only for Baekhyun and Chen to help guide him out of the room with Xiumin hurrying after them.   “Have Luna cover the windows completely and put this room on lockdown when you leave.”   Tao nodded his head at the shorter strategist before looking back down to Luhan. “Let me help you get out of there, Head Guard,” he softly said, bringing up a stiff arm to wrap around his shoulders, “We should get you and Kris changed into new clothes and fed properly.”   “Kris?” Luhan questioned confusedly, shifting his gaze to one of the unknown men left in the room, “Who’s Kris?”   Suho took that as his chance to help Kris up as well, looking back every now and then to see Luhan on shaky legs trying to stand correctly. “I’m Kris,” the flight user eventually answered, almost falling to the floor if he didn’t try to exert his power in time. He grunted, trying to stand up straight with his friend’s help.   Luhan furrowed his brows in confusion at the two newcomers before looking to Tao, immensely bewildered since their time user was in close proximity with foreigners. “They are okay?”   The time user nodded, helping to guide him towards the door, “They are more than okay within our land, Luhan.”   The other frowned uncertainly, looking back at the other two before they all left the room. He couldn’t help but admire the silky-looking feathers covering the wings on the taller man’s back.   ...   Sehun helped wipe Lay’s tears away as they tried to make it back to the earth user’s room slowly. He shared a worried look with Amber who quickly figured out what had happened in her absence. “What’s wrong with Kai?” he softly questioned, trying to bring up a different topic than the ones they were all thinking of, “He’s awake, right?”   Amber nodded, “Yeah, but I don’t exactly know.” She looked ahead of her to see them approaching the overly familiar door. “But something apparently seemed off. I don’t know.” She knocked on the door before opening it and peeking her head in. “D.O?” she called out.   “Come in.”   The wind user and healer frowned at the other’s quiet voice. They all entered, watching as D.O. continued to hand-feed Kai, before their concerned looks turned into one of confusion. “What’s wrong with Kai?” Sehun blurted out, walking over with the king to them, “He seems awake and lazy as usual.”   “I am not,” the other gruffly muttered out, turning to glare at his friend, “Hi, Sehunnie?”   “Hi?” the other questioned back, still confused. He looked at D.O, watching as he tried to not let his tears fall again. “D.O?” he gently called out, reaching out to touch his shoulder. He gasped when his best friend suddenly grabbed his wrist, grip tight as he prevented the other from touching him. He barely recognized the primal and defensive look his best friend donned towards him.   Amber and Lay’s eyes widened in shock at the abrupt action. The former turned to look at her friend. “What…?”   “Something’s wrong with him,” D.O. softly answered back, putting the food off to the side before untangling Kai’s fingers from Sehun’s wrist, “His memories come and go, and he forgets.” He looked to Lay, “Can you see if something is off in his brain?”   “What?” Kai suddenly asked, eyes wide as he saw a white glow emanate from the strange man’s hand. He almost shifted away due to fear if it weren’t for the same familiar hand from before coming up to cup his cheek. He looked up to see the earth user’s eyes staring into his gently. Another flurry of emotions passed through his eyes, including confusion, as he let D.O. close his eyes and then felt a warm sensation fill him.   Lay concentrated, entering Kai’s body as he tried to see anything wrong with the other’s brain like with Luhan. He softly spoke, trying to heal the parts that he could. He wasn’t like his father though. Not yet. “He’s almost the same as Luhan,” he murmured, feeling Kai shift under his hand, “Don’t move yet.” Kai instantly stilled, feeling D.O. rub his thumb against his cheek soothingly. The king took in a deep breath, frowning. “Relax your mind, Kai. Think of nothing else – as if you are sleeping.” He needed Kai completely still to understand everything. “D.O, make sure he is relaxed.”   The earth user nodded, leaning in to whisper comforting words into Kai’s ear. He hoped whatever was going on in his calling would eventually be okay. Amber and Sehun watched them curiously, both of them ready to catch Lay as he started to sway on his feet unknowingly.   The king brought up his other hand from the edge of the bed, the glow covering his hands growing brighter as he observed everything within Kai’s head. He immediately pulled back a few minutes later, gasping as he fell into two pairs of arms. He looked worriedly to D.O. who looked back at him with a similar expression on his face. “I don’t have enough energy right now to heal him,” he started off, relying on Amber and Sehun to hold him up, “And I’d have to experiment with Chanyeol and Xiumin with animals or something to see if it’s possible.”   “What are you talking about?” the earth user questioned back, turning to look at Kai who was solely looking at him, “What’s wrong with him?”   “It’s close to whatever is wrong with Luhan as well,” Lay softly answered, shifting so he was shakily standing on his own two feet, “Luhan has amnesia, but with what Kai has, it’s different. I don’t know how yet.”   And suddenly, Kai shifted his gaze from his calling’s face to the trio off to the side, “That’s what’s wrong with me?”   Sehun and Amber looked to the other confused. “Kai?” the former questioned again, reaching forward to grab his hand like they used to, “Are you back with us?”   Tears suddenly appeared in Kai’s eyes as he gripped back onto his best friend’s hand. He looked at him worriedly before looking to D.O. “Don’t let go of me,” he said fearfully, nudging his calling’s hand on his cheek so it rested lightly against his lips. He kept seeing white flashes in his mind, and he didn’t know what to make of it. He kissed his palm again. “Don’t.”   “Okay,” D.O. easily responded back, feeling compelled to do so. He brought up his other hand to run it through Kai’s hair gently as the other kept kissing his palm. He looked to Sehun who looked back at him worriedly before turning back to see Lay almost passed out in Amber’s arms. He smiled at his friend gently, “Go to your room and get some much needed rest, king. Thank you for coming here quickly.”   Lay tiredly chuckled, letting go of Sehun in the process, “I definitely will. Anything for you, sir earth user.” He shifted his gaze to Kai, expression becoming sad. “It seems like he will continue to come in and out of his memories, but his anchors seem to be you and Sehun. Stay close to him or else he will become confused… at least until I am able to heal that part of the brain for him.”   “What about Luhan?” Sehun softly questioned, removing his gaze from his best friend’s scared one to their king, “Will he be able to be healed as well?”   “He’s the master of the mind. He can control memories, so he will be harder to heal,” Lay murmured back, trying to turn around to exit the room, “It’s his own defense mechanism. Unless he’s willing to open up his own memories, Chanyeol and I will simply be forgotten.”   Amber helped the king turn around, briefly looking over their shoulders to give the other three men an unsure grin. They waited until the two left the room completely to turn back to Kai who was looking up at them curiously. “What?” Sehun questioned, moving to sit down on the bed behind D.O.   “Why do you have a ring on your left ring finger?”   “Oh.”   D.O. laughed as Sehun indiscreetly hid his left hand behind his back. He turned back to look at Kai before leaning down to kiss him on the lips again. “You’ve missed a lot since you’ve been gone,” he murmured against his lips, hoping the information would stick into his head, “Lay is king now as well.” He pulled back to see Kai pout up at him.   “What did you say before? I was asleep seven years?”   Both users nodded, smiling down at him. “Yeah,” Sehun softly said as he laced his fingers with his best friend’s once again, “You’ve been gone a long time.” They watched as Kai nodded in agreement, grabbing D.O’s hand that was on his face with his free one. He stared at each of his hands, studying them and noticing his were a bit thinner than usual than theirs.   “What about Kris?” he quietly questioned, remembering he died before they made it back to the Land of Day. The earth user looked back at his friend curiously too. They already mentioned Luhan.   “Both he and Luhan are awake and living,” the wind user answered back just as softly, looking to the earth user who smiled back at them happily.   “You told Xiumin to freeze them to abnormal temperatures in hope they would come back in the future. You saved them, Jongin.”   Kai smiled in relief, tilting his head up for another kiss from his calling. He chuckled lightly when Sehun groaned in annoyance, looking to see the other stick his tongue out at him playfully before he received a peck on the lips.   “The two lands have become one as well,” Sehun mentioned with a small smile on his face, “Lay made it official before he became king a few months after you, Luhan, and Kris fell asleep.” They watched as the other nodded, seeming to think about it.   “So, I’m assuming the queen is gone,” he softly commented, letting go of Sehun’s hand to try and fish for the one he was hiding behind his back, “You did it. Huh, Sehunnie? You saved them too.”   “We did, Kai,” Sehun smiled gently at his best friend, letting the other hold his left hand to look at his ring. The guilt was still present in his chest, but he felt it lessening minutely each minute he actually talked to his best friend. “Chanyeol and I got married last month. We tried waiting for you, but…” he sadly shrugged, looking back to his best friend, “You know.”   “I couldn’t dramatically stop the wedding and demand you to rethink your decision,” Kai quietly joked, causing the other two to laugh. He gave them a lopsided smile before turning to D.O, “Can I have more food? I’m still hungry.”   “Sure,” the earth user happily said, about to slip his hands off of Kai’s body. He quickly turned back around when his calling pulled back on his hand. He gave the other a curious look. “What is it, Jongin?”   “I’m going to lose you again.”   Sehun frowned, watching the two interact in front of him some more before looking down to his hand still entwined with the other’s. He hadn’t seen fear like that in his best friend in a long time. He looked back up to D.O. who moved the other’s bangs from his forehead before placing a soft kiss on it. “Then I’ll find you again.”   That seemed to calm Kai enough to let go of him completely to warm up more food for him off to the side. Sehun stared down at his friend, eyeing him to observe any sudden changes. He tentatively and slowly removed his own hand from his best friend, watching as a fearful look encompassed his friend’s face again. He gave him a reassuring smile. “We’ll be there to catch you.” He paused slightly, watching as a million different emotions passed through Kai’s eyes. “I’ve been with Chanyeol so long now, Kai. Let me see what happens.”   The teleportation user frowned but let his friend move away from him to stand next to D.O. He stared at them, watching as his calling turned to look at Sehun worriedly before looking back at him. The other two continued to stare at him, watching as a blank look eventually took over everything else, and then he was looking at them confused.   D.O. frowned, nudging Sehun slightly before walking forward with the food again. “Hey, Jongin?” he quietly questioned, sitting on the edge of the bed and holding out the food for him to eat, “Tell me when you feel full, okay?”   Kai looked at him curiously before shifting his gaze to Sehun who still stood off to the side. He stared at him a bit longer before a small smile took over his face and he opened his mouth to accept the food. “Hi, Sehunnie,” he softly said before making a noise of satisfaction at the delicious foods in his mouth, “You’re Sehunnie, right?”   The earth user’s expression dropped as he turned to face Sehun who looked confused and disappointed. “I discovered a pattern while I waited for you three to come earlier,” he softly said, continuing to feed the curious teleportation user, “I have to constantly be in touch with him for everything to come back.”   “It could be the power of soul mates,” Sehun softly responded back, walking over to them as well, “There’s an instant pulling towards each other’s callings that make them feel immediately comfortable with the other. I think that’s partly why you can do all this without him feel afraid or threatened.” He paused next to the bed. “With me as an anchor as well, maybe it has to do with the fact that we’ve made the biggest impact on him throughout his life.”   “What are you talking about?” Kai asked curiously, eating another bite of the delicious food being presented to him. “This tastes really good.”   “You’ve already said that, Jongin,” D.O. gently said, a small, affectionate smile on his face, “And yes. I call you Jongin, but others call you Kai.”   The teleportation user looked up at him inquisitively. He studied him for a moment before nodding and taking another bite of food. “Okay.”   Sehun frowned, trying to think through the other’s odd illness and behavior. He’d never seen something like it before. He hummed shortly before reaching out to touch D.O. again. He garnered the same reaction from his best friend as before. “Do you not remember us, Kai?” He watched carefully as emotions started to flicker in Kai’s eyes again once D.O. reached out to place a hand on his cheek again.   After what seemed like more than a few minutes, Kai made a choked noise as he gripped onto D.O.’s hand tightly with his free hand while loosening his grip on Sehun’s wrist. He looked to each of them frantically. “What’s going on with me?” He shifted his gaze to his calling, “Kyungsoo… What-?”   “Shh,” the elder softly whispered, retracting his hand so he could continue feeding him, “I’ll make sure you’re ne

Chapter 2: I know I'm late to the oarty, but I have a request.

MORE XIUCHEN PLEASE.

It just feels like all the other ot12 stories I read, where all the other couples are super important, and Xiuchen just seems to be there.

Like I homestly feel like I'm reading the Sulay/Layhan, Kaisoo, and Chanhun chronicles. It kinda felt like that in the first story too.

And that for me and my Xiuchen shipping heart.

The story is beautiful, and I'll read the story regardless. I just want a little more Xiuchen.

Okay, a LOT more Xiuchen.

But this story is amazing. So just keep doing what you're doing.

Just......can you please put in more Xiuchen please???
