Suho felt a breath of fresh air when he felt something soft touch the side of his head, creating a scenery of lush, green fields with generously cloudy skies and cool breezes washing over his body. He felt like he could finally see a bright light, tilting his head the slightest bit towards the softness and relishing in the temporary release from that woman’s torture. But just as the gentleness entered his body, it slowly fluttered away in the form of a butterfly. He watched it go, the environment around him slowly darkening until it looked like he was back in his homeland, stuck in a large puddle of water.   He felt like he was drowning.   ...   Luhan and Sehun watched as Eunji slowly pulled her hand away, irises returning to their natural color before she simply stared at Suho, slumped over in front of them in chains to ensure he wouldn’t escape even though they all knew he couldn’t any time soon. The cell was quiet, save for Suho’s ragged breathing, and Luhan and Sehun didn’t like it. “Eunji?” Sehun called out, anxiety eating at him for the state of his friend.   “I cannot tell an individual’s health like a healer can,” Eunji quietly said, reaching out to gently card her fingers through Suho’s hair again. “I can only say his powers are still in working order.”   Luhan frowned at the news, biting the inside of his cheek as he stared from the back of Eunji’s head to Suho’s mildly scrunched up face. He knew he couldn’t enter the man’s mind without possibly harming him any further, and he knew Sehun understood that, especially after they argued about him trying to pull anything of this woman out of his head.   “There hasn’t been another healer born since Lay,” Sehun muttered with a frown on his face, “And he’s too weak to go anywhere.”   “He is in a terrible state,” Eunji slowly commented, gradually using her powers again to see inside the small section of Suho’s mind and realize his facial expression eased at her usage. “What did these people plan to do to him?”   “We still don’t know,” Sehun answered back, walking forward to lean down and gently grab Suho’s hand, hoping to bring whatever comfort he could give him. “They’re destroying all of us from the inside out. We’re all separated and we can’t keep up. We’re not with the people who can strengthen us with their powers.”   “Why?” Eunji mused again, causing Sehun to fall silent again.   They all stared at the water user, watching as he started to slowly breathe calmly again with the help of Eunji and her power, and Luhan couldn’t understand. This was a difficult and annoying puzzle to solve and he didn’t know why he couldn’t crack it yet. He wanted to look into the man’s mind, but he didn’t know what repercussions that would cause all of them. He didn’t want to break Lay’s trust again.   “Henry’s not talking,” Kris muttered as he walked back into the large room, one of Luhan’s crystal balls in hand, “Baekhyun still has his vision under control though.” He instinctively wrapped his free arm around Luhan’s waist. “How is he doing?”   Luhan continued to bite the inside of his cheek, leaning into Kris’ side, as he watched Sehun slowly pull away again. He knew before he even opened his mouth. “Can’t you at least see what’s going on in there, Luhan?”   “I don’t want to worsen his condition,” Luhan resolutely said although his gaze said otherwise. He did worse things. Could this woman do the same?   “What if she’s still torturing him though?” Sehun questioned, gaze sad and worried, “He doesn’t deserve this. You know it.”   Luhan stared at him just as conflicted, feeling Kris squeeze his waist gently. “But,” he mumbled, sparing Eunji a brief glance to see her still staring at Suho, “I could permanently hurt him.” His expression turned pleading towards the wind user. “I could break Lay’s trust and I could break Suho indefinitely. I don’t want to be the cause of pain anymore.”   “But you could relieve it,” Sehun emphasized, standing back up to his full height. “She could’ve planted seeds of doubt and self-harm into his mind. She could’ve planted lies about everyone around him. What if she did something only you can reverse?”   Luhan fell silent at the other’s speech, staring into his eyes as he took a step towards him.   “What if she made Lay to be someone evil in his mind? Manipulated him into thinking that Lay is just like the past queen?”   The words hit home, Luhan’s breathing slowly becoming ragged as memories of the queen’s actions towards him surfaced from the recesses of his mind. He couldn’t look at Sehun anymore, gaze flitting all over the dungeon room as he suddenly inhaled a deep breath and stumbled backwards, Kris’ arm tightening around him to make sure he didn’t fall.   The queen manipulated him, only used him because of the power he held, and tried to use him against her own son, the man he loved. He killed the king because she was able to twist truths into barely veiled lies and he was naïve enough to believe everything if it only meant Lay would be safe. He would be safe and happy – with him.   “Luhan?”   Luhan could feel his heart palpitating wildly, flashes of the queen’s motherly smile contradicting the last images he had of her simply throwing him away. He remembered the literal stab to the back caused by her and Lay trying to save him. He couldn’t breathe.   “Lu Han!” Kris suddenly screamed, catching him as he fell backwards. He looked at him worriedly, crouching on the ground, before turning to look at Sehun alarmed. “Sehun!”   “I didn’t know that would trigger something!” Sehun yelled out, eyes wide as he quickly went to them and kneeled down beside the hyperventilating Luhan. “Luhan!” he yelled next, reaching out to shake his shoulder. He gasped when something flashed before his eyes, seeing flashes of Luhan and the past queen, before he drew his hand back. His eyes were wide with shock as he focused his stare on Kris’ worried expression to Luhan’s closed eyes as he tried to breathe properly. He could even feel Luhan’s emotions within that split second.   “Luhan,” he murmured sadly, before looking to Kris. “Let me hold him for a minute.”   “What?” Kris breathed out, looking to him shocked. “Why?”   Sehun gave him a small smile. “Let me steady his breathing.” He didn’t know Luhan’s own past was difficult. Granted, he should’ve known all those who came from the Land of Day were a bit twisted up within them. “Don’t be alarmed to how I have to do this. I’m going to try and do this the best way without getting punched by you.” He held his arms out, letting a hesitating Kris gently settle a heaving Luhan into his arms before leaning down to press a slightly opened kiss to the corner of his mouth.   “Sehun!” Kris shouted out before Sehun rolled his eyes and leaned away from Luhan to face him.   “Do you want me to actually kiss him on the lips? This is the best way to do it without fully kissing him on the lips and it gets it done faster than hovering over him creepily to regulate his breathing.” He didn’t wait for a response before he went back down to kiss the corner of Luhan’s mouth, quickly trying to regulate the carbon dioxide and oxygen flow within his body and exchanging it with his own in the small gaps between their lips. He barely felt lightheaded when Luhan slowly closed his own mouth minutes later, now breathing deeply but calmly before he pulled away. His irises were fuchsia as he stared down at Luhan carefully, watching as he slowly blinked his eyes afterwards before focusing on him. “Are you okay now?” he questioned softly.   “Luhan?” Kris questioned next, leaning over so he was in his field vision as well.   Luhan shifted his gaze to his calling before looking to Sehun again, a thin sheen of sweat on his face at his anxiety attack. He simply nodded, allowing Sehun to shift him into Kris’ arms again before making a grab at the crystal ball, tiredly patting Kris’ stomach trying to get to it. He didn’t want Suho to go through what he went through in the past. But he needed permission. “Ball,” he breathed out, suddenly feeling drained. He closed his eyes again, palm face up as he waited for the familiar weight to settle onto his hand, before he opened his eyes again and took in several deep calming breaths.   “What are you doing?” Kris asked quietly, continuing to stare at him as he helped him hold the ball up closer to their faces. He saw Sehun quickly look over at Eunji before looking back to them.   “I need his permission,” Luhan slowly said, focusing his power into his crystal only to see a bunch of static before Xiumin’s face popped into view. They frowned as Xiumin looked to be concentrating on something else, Kris saying a quiet and hesitant, “Xiumin?” before the man jumped and looked down to him shocked.   “Kris?”   “What are you doing?” Kris continued to question, hearing a tired groan come from the other end. His forehead scrunched together in confusion, Sehun looking the same as he leaned over further to see into the crystal ball.   “We’ve captured her,” Xiumin informed, shifting the ball around so they could get a look at the woman’s face.   Sehun gasped as his eyes widened, looking away from them to Eunji still trying to comfort Suho in his sleep. “It’s Ailee,” he whispered, Eunji looking away from Suho shocked to stare back at him. Sehun’s gaze fell to Suho’s pained expression again before looking to Kris and a tired looking Luhan. “Ailee has been our comrade for years now.”   “I know,” Xiumin mumbled back before leaving the area to talk to them more privately. Ailee’s arms and legs were already covered with ice, the woman shivering as she tried to stay awake. “Chanyeol and Jessica helped capture her. Actually, it was Jessica who discovered her first.”   “What?” Sehun breathed out, looking to him inquisitively. “Where’s Chanyeol?”   “I need to talk to Lay,” Luhan suddenly croaked out before coughing and jostling the crystal in his and Kris’ hands. “It’s urgent.”   “I’ll head upstairs then.”   They watched as Xiumin passed by Jessica before she walked past him to probably watch over Ailee, observing as he quickly made his way for the stairs to go up to where the king was located. Sehun waited with them, gaze shifting to stare out the opened entranceway to where Baekhyun was just down the hall with Henry, when he suddenly felt pain blossom in his chest. His eyes widened as he gasped, hand immediately flying to his heart as he coiled in on himself.   Kris, Luhan, and Eunji looked to him shocked, Luhan reaching out to gently place his hand on Sehun’s leg. “Sehun?” the flight user questioned cautiously, “What’s wrong?”   “Chanyeol,” Sehun whispered out, eyes wide and frantic as he quickly reached out to grab the crystal ball from the couple. “It’s Chanyeol, Xiumin,” he said louder, blood rushing in his ears at the panic that quickly welled up within in, “Xiumin, where’s Chanyeol?!”   “What?” Xiumin asked back, looking down to notice the panic in Sehun’s gaze before sprinting out into a run to get to the room. “What’s with Chanyeol?”   “Where is he?!”   “He should be checking up on Lay, Chen, and our other friend. Why?”   Sehun gasped as he felt another prick of pain go through him, tears forming before quickly trying

Chapter 2: I know I'm late to the oarty, but I have a request.

MORE XIUCHEN PLEASE.

It just feels like all the other ot12 stories I read, where all the other couples are super important, and Xiuchen just seems to be there.

Like I homestly feel like I'm reading the Sulay/Layhan, Kaisoo, and Chanhun chronicles. It kinda felt like that in the first story too.

And that for me and my Xiuchen shipping heart.

The story is beautiful, and I'll read the story regardless. I just want a little more Xiuchen.

Okay, a LOT more Xiuchen.

But this story is amazing. So just keep doing what you're doing.

Just......can you please put in more Xiuchen please???
