Chanyeol panted from quick exhaustion and the adrenaline rush, transforming back into a human with fire entirely engulfing both his arms. He landed behind Jihoon as he felt the winds around him disperse, assuming Sehun can no longer see where he was located. The man kept his back turned to him as he stared down Xiumin, who looked completely still like an ice frozen statue, the only parts signifying his live status were the complete ice blue glow of his eyes as he awaited the lightning user’s next move.   The necklace Xiumin wore minutely glowed underneath all the ice, channeling all the voltage from the earlier attack into it right before he was able to transform his body completely. The problems with this state though were that Xiumin was like stone, unable to move at all unless he loosened the ice within and surrounding him, could break just as easily if hit at certain angles, and that he couldn’t focus his vision at all. He was like Kai in a way, only seeing certain glows surrounding the bodies’ of users and just knowing which one to attack or protect. He kept his head faced in the direction of the darker aura, Chanyeol’s heat showing up behind him.   Holes and burnt scars marked Jihoon’s body, revealing a black, skintight suit underneath his clothes to prevent his own lightning from attacking him. He lightly panted from the activities, knowing either of his opponents won’t use dirty moves on him. They were too noble for that. However, that didn’t mean the same for him. He in a deep breath, ready to attack, before hearing steps coming towards them. He immediately shifted his gaze before dodging a shard of ice aiming for his neck. Behind him, the ice melted feet away from Chanyeol due to his heat.   “We have it covered here,” Chanyeol called out, knowing Xiumin couldn’t talk while he was made completely of ice, “Please turn around.”   “Not while my kingdom is being threatened,” Lay retorted back, storming up to them before he stopped, pale skin illuminating with the glow of his power radiating off of him and sunlight beaming down on them. He took note of Xiumin’s complete ice form and Chanyeol’s flames circling around him before focusing his stare on the tall lightning user, hearing somebody else quickly come up behind him. “I assume you came to our land to speak with me.”   Jihoon greeted him with an eerie type of smile, full of pearly white teeth. “Not necessarily, my king,” he said politely before turning towards him completely and presenting the formal bow, “But I am truly honored you have graced me with your presence.”   “You did not have to resort to such measures to simply meet with me personally,” Lay informed, feeling Suho’s presence behind him. He took a step forward, eyes glowing a minute amount brighter as he started to drain the other’s energy meters away from him. “Inform us of the true reason you have come into our land and attacked our guards.”   “The true reason?” Jihoon echoed back, assuming his full height once again to display his playful smile to the king, “Do you really want to know?”   Suddenly, Lay spun on his heel on instinct, hand reaching out to grab onto the wrist before the punch could connect to his face. His eyes widened in shock, hearing Jihoon start to pant heavier each minute that passed from his power. “Junmyeon,” Lay whispered before he let go and crouched, bringing an arm up to block the kick to his side. He immediately jumped away towards Chanyeol’s side, watching as Suho slowly stood back up and turned to face him again.   Xiumin watched the scene happen before loosening the ice around his joints and running for Jihoon, immediately grabbing him by the back of the neck and arm, twisting it behind his back, and forcing him onto his knees. He refroze his entire body, hands latching onto Jihoon’s body, as Chanyeol turned to them. “What did you do?!” the fire user shouted out, hearing Jihoon gasp at the cold temperature permeating his skin.   Chanyeol immediately jumped out of the way as Suho ran forward to engage Lay in hand-to-hand combat, making him lose focus in draining Jihoon of his energy. His eyes flashed dangerously as he made his way to Jihoon, about to leave a real nasty burn on his face, when the latter tried to turn his head and smile at him. “We’re not after the king.” His eyes started to glow before the skies opened up again and lightning bolts started to center their descents on him and, consequently, Xiumin as well. Chanyeol jumped away before he could get hit. “We’re after the water user,” Jihoon whispered, smile widening as he heard a noise of discomfort come from Xiumin and then a scream come from Lay as Suho landed a kick to his stomach.   The fire user looked at him completely shocked, not knowing what to do or how to take in that information. A minute later, he heard a soft static crackle and black smoke appeared, Chen clinging onto Kai as they both tried to control their dry heaving. Within a split second, Chen pushed Kai away at seeing the lightning user and his completely frozen fiancé right in front of him before his own eyes glowed and he directed the lightning to hit him instead. “Minseok! Let go of him!” he exclaimed as he ran towards them, Xiumin immediately defrosting the ice within his entire body and falling away onto the ground, right before Chen ensured a tight grip to the back of Jihoon’s neck and lightning coursed through his body into the other lightning user instead.   “Kai!” Chanyeol yelled out, completely surprised at the other’s sudden appearance before he started making his way towards Lay and Suho, “Get Suho!”   Kai swallowed thickly, confused as to what was happening before he obeyed, teleporting right behind Suho and trapping his arms behind him with a little more struggle than he initially thought. “What the hell is going on?!”   “Do you honestly–” Jihoon panted out, feeling his entire body burning up at the excessive currents going through him, “–think you can stop us now?”   Xiumin watched them with wide eyes, only seeing Chen this angry and powerful a few times previously, before he gasped, feeling something invade his mind again and freeze his movements. He looked around with his gaze confused, seeing Kai and Lay looking around freely while Chanyeol and Chen stopped in their actions. His gaze turned fearful as Jihoon let out a sigh of relief, releasing himself from Chen’s loose grip before looking up and discharging the extra voltage from his body into the sky. He turned around to stare down Chen in the eye, seeing the anger still flowing within his gaze. “I didn’t get a chance to properly meet you last time I visited this land. I also didn’t get a chance to adequately test your strength,” he shifted his gaze to Xiumin on the ground and smiled a soft, genuine smile before shifting his gaze back to Chen, voice sounding almost in awe and wonder, “You are indeed the legend I have heard about.” He stepped away to make his way for the gates and make his escape. “I am honored.”   Before he left the grounds however, he felt someone running up to him. “Unless you want your loved one to end you, do not touch me or mess with my energy.” He tilted his head back to smirk at the king. “You should know who our true target is now.” He caught sight of Xiumin starting to move freely as well before he turned and walk away.   Lay couldn’t help but watch the man walk away from them, figure disappearing into the distance. He was seething in anger and confusion, an unpleasant combination, before he glared up at the guards still peering anxiously over the edge of the wall towards them. “Close the gates. Put the entire kingdom on lockdown! Entering or exiting any part of this kingdom without permission from the head guards, strategists, or myself will be immediately thrown in the cellars for interrogation!” He watched the guards quickly nod before they started to close the entrance to the kingdom and a warning sound was heard, echoing throughout the land. Lay then turned to the others, hearing them start to move and checking their physical conditions with his gaze.   “What the hell was that?!” Chen screamed out in confusion, walking over to Xiumin to grab for the necklace glowing on his chest. His own eyes glowed as well as he yanked it towards him, retracting all traces of electricity from it before releasing it towards the sky. “Who the hell does he think he is?! Where did he even come from?!”   Xiumin flinched at the loud volume and rough pull of the necklace still strapped around his neck, trying to reach out and calm the other down. “Jongdae,” he murmured, wincing as the last voltage left Chen and created a roar in the sky, “Jongdae.”   Chen finally looked down at the call of his name, glow receding from his orbs before he reached forward and pulled his fiancé in for a tight hug. “Are you okay?” he whispered, feeling Xiumin wrap his arms around his waist in return, “Minseok, you scared me.”   The ice user smiled happily, feeling the younger nuzzle his face into his cool neck and leave a gentle kiss there. “Now you know how I felt,” he murmured back, “Dummy.” He wanted to ask about Kai, but he definitely looked busy with the others with them.   “You weren’t frozen?” Chanyeol questioned immediately, walking up to Kai who shook his head confusedly and held a tight grip on Suho. He eyed the water user who looked like he was in a complete daze in the other’s hold. “Why?”   “I think it had to do with my power,” Kai muttered out in thought, looking over to the side when Lay made his way for them again, “And Luhan from the past.”   The fire user frowned at the response, knowing Luhan invaded Lay’s mind in the past before and deciding additional queries would come later. He briefly shifted his gaze to Xiumin, wondering why he wasn’t able to move as freely as the other two from the start. He turned to the king, watching as he stopped beside all of them. He knew the protocol would have to come some time, and he truly felt horrible he couldn’t help in any way before it hit that point in the battle. “Suho still appears out, king,” he whispered, wondering if the water user could hear them at all or not, “What happened to him?”   “I don’t know,” Lay mumbled back, gaze sad as he stood in front of Chanyeol and lifted a hand to cup Suho’s cheek. “Junmyeon?” he questioned quietly, making the other face up towards him. Kai loosened his hold on his friend worriedly.   “What happened since we left?”   “A lot actually,” Chanyeol softly replied back, frowning when Suho’s gaze still looked distant to them. “Lay,” he lightly warned, watching as the king gently ran his thumb across Suho’s cheek. He really didn’t want this to happen.   Lay stared into his calling’s eyes, watching as they still shifted colors and specks appeared without their control. “Junmyeon?” he weakly tried again, feeling the catch in his throat before he leaned forward to kiss him. Kai and Chanyeol looked away, the former rubbing his thumb comfortingly on the water user’s wrist even though he wasn’t getting any response back. When Lay pulled away to continue looking into his boyfriend’s eyes, he couldn’t stop the tears from clouding his vision. They were finally starting to be truly happy.   “For becoming a threat to the king and consequently the kingdom of two lands, Kim Junmyeon will be placed in the cellars for further interrogation and treason.”   ...   Jongwook watched sadly as D.O. stood with his arms crossed in the balcony of the common room, staring out over the houses and shacks towards the previous Land of Day. The general was standing near the entrance of the area before turning around to go back inside. For some reason, D.O. wanted to go to the balcony where he and Kai fought briefly seven years ago instead of his son’s room. But he knew the reason they were in there. The earth user was waiting for his son to finally see his room for the first time. He couldn’t take that opportunity away from them.   “Do you think he’s okay?” D.O. suddenly asked, voice low and gentle.   Jongwook softly smiled at the tone of voice. The younger actually didn’t sound worried, just curious. “Do you believe he is?”   A small smile formed on the earth user’s lips at the return question. “Yeah. I do.”   The elder chuckled, tilting his head back to look at his future son-in-law. “Then he is.”   “You know, dad,” D.O. lightly sang out, smile blossoming on his face, “He’s an idiot.”   Jongwook laughed, moving to sit down on one of the couches in the large room. He looked to the younger affectionately, wondering how in all the worlds and spirits Kai got someone as smart and strong as him, even though he was quite petite for a guy. Looks could be deceiving, and it couldn’t have been more true to this man in front of him right now. “That’s an understatement, son.”   D.O’s voice softened again, thinking about the past words. “But he’s lieutenant general here?”   “Yeah,” the elder sighed out, wondering how the others were doing in their grounds and if that telekinesis user was keeping his word. “He’s one of the best we have.”   “So he’s a smart idiot,” the other deadpanned, causing the general to freeze and pause his thoughts at the phrase, “Or an idiotic smart person.”   Jongwook outright laughed again boisterously at the choice of words that were given to him. He smiled as the earth user started to laugh as well, finally turning around to face him. “He should count his spirits and thank them personally,” he managed to get out between gasps of air, “You two need to officially marry before I pass.”   D.O. smirked at the other despite the fact he didn’t like the end wording of his statement. Jongwook was completely human, and it was evident in his physical features. “That’s all up to your son, sir.”   “He’d be an idiot not to–” Jongwook watched as the earth user lifted an eyebrow at him in amusement. It took a second, but he immediately understood and shook his head affectionately at remembering who his son is. He gave a pleading look to the other. “Make sure you two end up married somehow or something. I don’t trust this land in his sole hands.”   They shared a smile then before D.O. broke it to look back out towards his homeland again. He contemplated his feelings and thoughts, not really feeling anything going on with Kai – at least nothing life-threatening that is. He believed that was a good sign, a great one even. He hoped he made it back to his home anyways.   He heard somebody knock outside the door, calling out the general before the elder male got up to go answer it. D.O. heard them start to discuss something, assuming future plans, and he sighed, wondering how his friends were doing with their current training.   ...   A man with light caramel hair quietly watched behind the slightly opened doors as the two men inside the large training room fought hand-to-hand combat before switching styles, Kris’ wings materializing as he ran before jumping up and the other man throwing his arms out to the side to command the various objects in the room to hit the man dodging them. He had never met these two men before, but he heard they were part of The Legends, only being confirmed when they suddenly rose from the dead like it was a long, overdue appointment.   “There you are, Henry,” Ara breathed out in relief, halting her movements to eye the other water user curiously. “What are you doing?”   Henry jumped on the spot, quickly closing the door to face the other woman. He gave the other a nervous smile. “Nothing, Lady Ara.” Ara gave her ‘mother’ look, staring down the other with an intensity only a natural mother had, and then Henry caved in. “Okay!” he screeched, pouting afterwards, “I was curious about the two of them. Kris from this land and…?”   Ara softly sighed, gaze softening as she looked to the closed doors. “Luhan from the original Land of Day.”   The younger water user frowned slightly, turning back to look at the doors as well. “If you don’t mind me asking, Lady Ara,” he started off slowly, hearing the duo inside going back to physical contact for training, “Are those rumors true?”   “It is not in my place to say which ones could be true and which ones could not be true,” she replied immediately before walking up to the door and putting her hand on the handle, “If you wish to know, you should ask them yourself.” She opened the door to see the duo inside spread out on the ground, Kris on his back with Luhan half fallen on top of him off to his right side. She raised a brow at their positions. “How is training, boys?”   “Being dead does things to one’s body,” Kris panted out, feeling puffs of air hit the side of his neck where Luhan decided was the most convenient place to put his head, on his sweaty shoulder, “My stamina has decreased significantly while we slept.” He tilted his head to the side, trying to look over Luhan’s own head and saw another man standing behind Ara looking at them curiously. He frowned, bringing his left arm up to gently hold Luhan’s head against his shoulder protectively. “May I ask who you are?”   Luhan immediately stiffened at the gruff, warning voice coming from his calling, moving in to curl himself into Kris’ side.   Ara and Henry watched their actions curiously before the latter spoke up. “My name is Henry, sir Kris,” he gently introduced himself, walking forward cautiously towards the duo, “I come from a nearby village and am currently dating Amber from the previous Land of Day.”   “Amber?” Luhan piped up, removing his head from Kris’ shoulder to turn and look at the other man. Kris sighed lightly at his calling’s protest to stay hidden. “How did you meet?”   The other two smiled at his genuine curiosity. “When Amber accompanied King Lay and Sir Suho years ago during one of his visits to this land.” Henry watched as Luhan moved to sit up and stare at him in wonder, natural sparkles shining in his eyes despite the sweat pouring from his body. “She’s funny and charming and wonderful to be around… and she’s an amazing fighter too.”   Luhan smiled up at him happily before turning to l

Chapter 2: I know I'm late to the oarty, but I have a request.

MORE XIUCHEN PLEASE.

It just feels like all the other ot12 stories I read, where all the other couples are super important, and Xiuchen just seems to be there.

Like I homestly feel like I'm reading the Sulay/Layhan, Kaisoo, and Chanhun chronicles. It kinda felt like that in the first story too.

And that for me and my Xiuchen shipping heart.

The story is beautiful, and I'll read the story regardless. I just want a little more Xiuchen.

Okay, a LOT more Xiuchen.

But this story is amazing. So just keep doing what you're doing.

Just......can you please put in more Xiuchen please???
