You woke up to the smell of breakfast, gently wafting through the house and greeting you pleasantly. The sound of eggs being fried and bacon sizzling made a smile light up on your face. Really, he was too sweet. What had you done to deserve him?

The door eased open and there he was, his arms laden with a tray of food that threatened to spill over.

"Good morning, love," he cooed, closing the door and setting the tray on your lap before going to open the curtains and let the sunlight filter in.

"Breakfast in bed?" you squealed in delight.

"I know, I know, I'm the best husband ever," Xiumin chuckled.

"See this is why I married you," you joked.

"It wasn't because of your undying love for me?" he exclaimed, putting a hand to his chest in mock hurt.

"Nope," you waggled your fork at him.

He narrowed his eyes, reaching for the tray of food.

"Well then, I'll just be taking this," he said slyly and you swatted his hands away.

"No! Not the hash browns!" 

He laughed at your childish nature, smiling at you warmly as he patiently watched you devour the food.

You finally finished, looking up to find him smirking at you.

"Did you want some?" you murmured sheepishly.

"Aye, you eat too fast!" he scolded. "So unladylike!"

You rolled your eyes and stuck your tongue out at him.

"Oh, please," you waved it off. "It's okay to be a little messy occasionally."

"You mean everyday?"
