On top of a grassy isolated hill, Taeyeon and Yuri sat quietly watching the sunset. The view was stunning as the sun finally went to sleep under the horizon, giving life to the twinkle of the brightest stars. Taeyeon looked over at Yuri for a moment and smiled to herself. It was almost time. When the last slivers of pinks and oranges disappeared a loud whistle was heard before an explosion of colors filled the air. Yuri was completely engaged in the fireworks show when Taeyeon scooted a little closer.

Leaning up to Yuri’s ear Taeyeon whispered, “I like you.”

Yuri finally took her eyes off the show above her to face a smiling Taeyeon. She smiled back and wrapped one arm around Taeyeon’s waist and took Taeyeon’s hand with her other one. “I like you too,” she said with a hidden blush.

Taeyeon rested her head on Yuri’s shoulder and in turn the taller girl leaned hers against Taeyeon’s head. They watched in silence the fireworks show above but they both felt mini explosions in their bellies. The idea of taking things to the next level was more exciting than the show. Both couldn’t wait to see how they would create their own fireworks together in the future.
