((Luhan's pov))

When he woke up that morning, his eyes snapped open when he realized that he wasn't laying on the single matress that sat on the floor in his room.

He started to panic when he looked around and realized he was laying next to Xiumin.

He slowly brought himself up in the sitting position and examined Xiumin's sleeping face.

Xiumin's hair, which was usually jelled up had fallen flat on his forehead.

His face was smoothed out, and the worry lines that Luhan had noticed at school, had disappeared, leaving Xiumin looking younger and less stressed than he usually did.

His breaths were also slow and evened out, which somehow brought a calming feeling to Luhan.

Looking at the clock sitting on Xiumin's bedside table, he saw that it was 4 am and remembered that he had to get home.

Rushing out the bed without waking up Xiumin, Luhan snuck out the house as fast as he could while trying not to disturb the sleeping family.

As he walked down the street and got closer to his house, his anxiety started to grow and he knew that if his mom, or older brother were awake, it woudn't be good.

He fished his house key out of his pocket, and slowly opened the door to his house.
