Eun-Mi stirred from her sleep when someone knocked the door.

She groaned and dragged herself to the door with half opened eyes.

“Oppa!” Eun-Mi gasped when she saw a crying Kris.

“Oppa what’s wrong?”

Kris kept crying without answering her.

“Come inside.”

She pulled him inside and stumbled when Kris fell on her.

“You are drunk again. What’s with you these days?” she asked helping Kris to sit on the bed.

“What’s happening? Why are you like this?” Kris hid his face in his hands.

“Do you still love me?”

“W-what?” Eun-Mi stuttered.

Kris looked into Eun-Mi’s eyes. “Do you still love me?”

Eun-Mi stared at Kris with her jaw dropped surprised by the sudden question.

“Answer me!”

Eun-Mi blinked a few times. “Wh-what about Tao? Aren’t you two together anymore?”

Kris’ eyes turned more painful.

He looked away and sighed. “Not anymore. He does not want to be with me anymore. And it’s my entire fault.” He burst into tears.

“Oppa don’t cry. You two will get back together again.” Eun-Mi squeezed Kris’ hand.

“No we won’t. He… he cannot remember me. His brain is damaged and he cannot remember me anymore. He disgusts me now!”

“What? How did that happen?”

“It happened thanks to your friend’s boyfriend. I will take my revenge from that !” Kris clenched his fist.

Eun-Mi raised her eyebrow. Knowing it was not the right time to ask about this, she shrugged it off. Besides, Kris will not answer her even if she asked.

Kris started drinking after that birthday incident happened.

Every evening he disappears from the house saying he needs some fre
