Kris smirked as he looked at his creation coming to live. Normally he would let the others guide his creations to come to live, since they’re all the same anyway, and they only have to implant a chip. But this time it was special. His creation is special. It took him four years to finally get to this point, there was no way in hell, that he would let his workers do this. Kris his smirk only became wider as he saw his creation looking around dumbfounded. It was a totally different reaction from the other robots he had made till now.

“Where am I?” he asked Kris. Kris chuckled, before answering “You are in my laboratory”. His creation looked shocked as his eyes widened a bit and he asked “What is that supposed to mean?”. “That you are very special, my friend, or.. should I say son?” Kris answered and ended his sentence with a laugh. Kris couldn’t believe this, he watched in amazement as his creation stood up and began looking around the laboratory. His creation is able to speak, walk and think already. The normal robots, do not think. Though they can indeed speak and walk right away, Kris had expected that there was a possibility that this new creation might not be able to do that right away.
Kris walked up to his creation and put his own hand on his chest. He felt godlike when he felt a heart thumping beneath his hand. He did it, it really worked. He smiled brightly at his creation and decided it was time to name his master piece. “I’m your creator, Kris. I shall give you your name now” he stated. “You’re my father right?” his creation asked while blinking innocently. “Yes, yes I am.” Kris answered and chuckled “Kai”. “Kai?” “Yes, your name shall be Kai, do you like it?” Kris asked while ruffling Kai’s hair. Kai smiled “Yes, thank you father!” “Erhm, well I would like it better if you call me Kris after all” Kris laughed, he felt weird being called a father at his young age. He knew that if he allowed Kai to call him father now, he would probably always be called ‘father’. He didn’t want any unnecessary awkward situations in the future.

It was time to train Kai now, eventually he had to let his creation go into the real world. Of course, Kris would definitely keep an eye on Kai for always, but Kai had to be able to live without him in the future. Kai knew how to talk and walk, but he only had basic knowledge about the humans & their culture. He was already born with skills though, Kris made him into a good fighter and gave him skills that would always come in handy, such as cooking.

“You’ve grown a lot in these two weeks, Kai” Kris said as he watched Kai smashing a tennis ball with his racket. Kai smirked, feeling happy about being praised “It’s all thanks to you” he said before bringing his focus back to the game. Kris made him battle against his best sports robot, and Kai was obviously winning. In these two weeks Kai had to battle a lot of other robots to test how good his skills really were. Kai was godlike, he is perfect in everything he does. And above all that, he is alive. Even though Kai doesn’t really understand it yet, he has feelings like a human has, and just like every human he needs sleep. Kris hadn’t known this before, but he found out after he saw Kai dozing off late in the evening. It was then that it hit him, Kai is really a human.
It would be an insult to call him a robot, Kris had decided that. That is the reason why he didn’t add any numbers to his name, yet. He would have to add numbers when the government takes him and brings him to a high up family who’s in need of a ‘robot’. He wouldn’t want a stuck up family to have Kai, they would ruin his creation.
Kris had planned something though. He already knew who would have the perfect household for someone like Kai. He smirked while thinking about what a genius he is. If Kai is in their household he’ll still be able to see Kai, watch him grow more human and keep an eye on him if anything bad happens. It was so perfect in his mind.

Kai finished off his opponent and walked victorious up to Kris who was smiling triumphal at him. “I suppose it is about time now, you’ll learn more when you’re with them for sure” Kris said as he ruffled Kai’s hair affectionately. Kris grew addicted to ruffling Kai’s hair. Kai made him feel like a god, which made Kris love him dearly. Kai was like the younger brother he never had. Kai’s eyes turned gloomy as he heard his creator say those words.
Right from the start Kris has told him that he would have to go to a household and continue his live there when he’s ensured that Kai was perfect. “I don’t want to leave you” Kai said dissatisfied. Kris couldn’t help but chuckle at his clinginess, ‘you’re definitely they younger brother I never had’ he thought as he pinched Kai’s cheek. “You’ll be fine, I’ll check up on you every day” Kris chuckled. Kris noticed that Kai was still not content with this since Kai’s gloomy eyes didn’t disappear. “There is girl there in the household, I’m sure she’ll be nice to you, since you’re my handsome creation. I used to be very close to her, I know she’s not a bad person. Does this take away any of your uneasiness?” Kris said, trying to cheer Kai up a bit.
“You used to be close to her? Why are you not close anymore?” Kai asked, being suspicious about the whole thing. “Well, I guess you’ll find that out once you get to know her for real” Kris laughed. Kai was not satisfied with the answer, but he knew that he won’t get more out of Kris, so he just dropped that topic. “When will you send me away?” he asked as they walked back to his bedroom, or well.. more like a cell. Kai was being trained in a special department in the government Robot building. He was the only one in this block, and Kris didn’t like that Kai had to sleep in this cell-like room. But he had no other choice, since he couldn’t take Kai to his home and all the training devices are here. Soon Kai would see the real world though, and Kris was sure that he would get a nice bedroom in his new household.

“You will be leaving tonight actually” Kris answered with a smile. “Stop smiling about this, it’s almost as if you like sending me away” Kai scoffed. “You know that, that is not the case at all. I’m just happy because you’ll finally see what the world outside this building is like” Kris said, as he began to pack the little things that Kai had collected in his two weeks stay.

Soooooo, this is just a little intro. The start of Kai's existent! I'm really hyped up to write more right nowww, so you can expect the next chapter soon ;D
