Tokyo, 07.30 a.m.

“OMMA!!!! Please don’t go, don’t go….!!!!” The little girl shouted loudly as her mother bring all her belongings and walking faster to the car. The first snow had just fallen. The weather was damn cold. The little girl, around 3 years old, running chasing her mother with bare feet.

“Please, don’t follow me.” The woman walked faster.

“NOOOO!!! Bring me along. OMMAAA!!!!”

“Secretary Wang, please bring her inside.” Ordered the woman.

“I don’t want!!! Bring me along!!!”

“Please, just this once. Please don’t follow me.” The woman sighed.

“Bring me along!” pleaded the little girl.

“Just make a promise. Wait me under the cherry blossom tree near the park we always visit. Wait me there every time the first snow starting. We will meet there, arasso?” the woman intertwine their fingers. The little girl’s finger was so tiny and so cold.

“Promise? You won’t break your promise, right?”

“I promise.”

Year by year, the little girl never missed the first snow. She will endure the coldness and forced secretary Wang to bring her there. She had waited for whole day. Year after year, but her mother never came. The snow keep falling every year, but the promise just omitted.

“WAKE UP, you stupid. You have a nightmare again?” Secretary Wang tries so hard to wake the sleepyhead up. But the sleep one doesn’t move a bit.

“WAKE UP, HEO JIYOON!!!! I’ll count till three. Once you don’t wake up, I’ll make a call to your aunty!”

Hearing the “aunty”, Jiyoon quickly gets up.

“Aishhh, arasso, arasso. I wake up now. Fully wake up.”

“You stupid people. What do you actually think every night until you get such a same nightmare every day?” Secretary Wang grumbles while handing a glass of water.

“I don’t know. Do I have any schedule today?”

“Yes. You’ll have 5 me
