NANAS POV

“That one please,” I said, pointing to the furthest white cat, its fur was as pure as snow, soft as cotton.

It had black, beady eyes which begged me to take him home.

And so I did, on the ride home, it slept peacefully with his towards me.

What a lazy cat.

Perfect for the laziest princess; Jung Sooyeon.

I put him inside a paper bag you’d find while shopping, still it didn’t move.

I couldn’t imagine Jessica’s face when she discovered the little kitten.

She’d probably hug me and start kissing me.

I placed the bag in front of the TV where Jessica’s eyes were fixed and seem to not want to ever leave.

For ten minutes or so we hugged on the coach without her suspecting a thing, maybe the cat was sleepy.

As time went by, I started to smell so I decided to take a shower.

Just as I was about to do so it sounded like a dolphin has just entered the house.

I ran out expecting to find a silver mammal but all I saw was a frightened Jessica pissing her pants.

There was no dolphin, it was just her scream.

The silly girl tightly wrapped her arms around me and sobbed

“The bag, it’s alive.”

Then she shrieked as it moved again.

By then I was deaf but I just giggled, I unwrapped her arms and went closer to the bag.

Picking up the white fluff, Jessica changed her facial expression completely.

I have never seen her so excited before, it was like a child on Christmas Eve.

What a bipolar idiot.

She sent me a dainty smile enough to drive me crazy but then she pecked my cheek.

It might have just been a peck but it meant a lot to me.

She took the kitten from my hands and played with it until she slept.

From that point on, they were inseparable.

Everything was about the cat, even our conversations.

We decided to name him Maomao or more like Jessica decided but yeah.

Usually, I’d get a goodnight kiss but I haven’t gotten anything since then, Maomao took it all.

I had that anger in my blood to get rid of that cat at times.

However, it’d end up looking at me and make me slap myself for thinking such thoughts.

Even if I did get rid of it, Jessica would never forget me.

The worst thing about Maomao was that it would ignore me even with food.

It was during the second week when I couldn’t stand it anymore.

The cat stole my girlfriend and it had even stolen my bed.

“Jess stop spending so much time on that stupid cat.”

“Why? You jealous?”

“No” I denied

“Yes”

“…No” I couldn’t admit it, no way.

She skipped closer and grinned adorably, climbing on top of me.

I could feel my cheeks turning red and hot.

After an invasion of kisses, she let me breathe a little.

“I love you way more than Maomao, it’s just that cats are way more cuter than a dog like you.”

I was about to reply, but she was snoring.
