That morning, Ryosuke kept on remembering his dream. They we’re having a breakfast when his sister’s noticed this strange occurrence.

“Ryo-chan, why aren’t you touching your food?” Saki asked as she carefully picked the breakfast that was served.

“Hmmm?” Ryosuke answered, he wasn’t really paying attention to what his sister asked

“Onee-chan asked why you’re not touching your food” Riisa replied

“Ahhh, I was----” Ryosuke said but was interrupted by a loud voice

“RYOOOO-CHAAAN!” Mirai’s voice was booming as she opened the door and entered the house

“Good Morning Mi-chan!” Ayame said placing another set of foods to the table

“G-O-O-D Morning! Onee-chans” Mirai enthusiastically said

“Whoah, you’re incredibly hyper today! What’s up?” Riisa asked

“Let’s just say, I had a good night’s sleep” Mirai answered, “By the way, Ryo-chan, you can take your time. Eat your breakfast the way you want, SLOW & CAREFUL” She said as she stood behind Ryosuke who again spaced out

“Ne, Mi-chan can you beat this guy up? He’s been acting strange the whole morning. He’s spacing the whole time” Saki said

“Really? That’s strange” Mirai asked. She then waved her palms inches away from Ryosuke’s face that took him back to reality

“Oh! Mi-chan” flustered Ryosuke then looked away from Mirai since he was feeling the irregular heartbeats again

“You’re acting strange, tell me what happened” Mirai said

“Nothing, I’m too sleepy, you called in the middle of the night then you went back to sleep while you were still on the line” Ryosuke replied

“Ehhh??!!! I called?” Mirai said as she blushed a little bit

“Yep, you don’t remember?” Ryosuke asked

“Not at all” Mirai answered while Ryosuke gobbled up the food that was in front of him that he ignored earlier.

”Whoah” Mirai mumbled, it was the first time Ryosuke ate like a guy. Well, biologically he was a guy, but he was not a guy GUY right? Guy’s eat so fast right?

Well, recently Mirai observed the changes that were occurring to her bestfriend. He was starting to look cool, and he was beginning to act like a ‘guy’. She even fell for him. She looked up then remembered her dream.

In her dreams Ryosuke stopped acting like a gay and admitted that he wasn’t anymore. He even confessed to her in her dreams.

That was the mystery behind her energy this morning. She was staring at Ryosuke the whole time she was ‘remembering’ her dreams. Ryosuke waved his palms near Mirai’s face as his sister’s focused on their meal.

“Mi-chan?” he asked. Mirai was pulled out from her fantasies and went back to reality. She looked at Ryosuke’s meal, and it was finished.

“Whoah! You finished it quite quickly” Mirai said then gave an awkward smile.

“Yeah, for a change” Ryosuke said then gave Mirai a proud smirk. He then brushed his teeth then they went to school.

During their homeroom, their teacher told them that the Cooking Contest is going to be an interschool competition and its going to happen in the next two days.

Ryosuke and Mirai was getting nervous, somehow they felt great amount of pressure. They’re going to be the representative and they’re not even that good at cooking.

On the other hand, Chinen Yuri was getting nervous. He was going to confess his suppressed feelings towards Umika. He asked God for a sign the night before. He said that if their teacher is going to announce today when the day of the competition will be, then he will confess. His heart was beating so fast, just thinking about confessing almost killed him.

That feeling lurked around Chinen the whole time.

It was already lunch break, he will be confessing today. He approached Umika “Kawashima-san, will you come with me to the rooftop?” he asked with his heartbeat so loud.

“Sure!” she answered then stood up and went to the rooftop together with Yuri.

Mirai, heard what Chinen told Umika and knew something was up with him. Secretly, she followed the two.

Chinen sighed to boost his confidence.

“Kawashima-san, I have liked you for a long time already, Will you go out with me?” he asked her as he bowed with great nervousness.

Umika was surprised; she blushed then held Yuri’s shoulders. Yuri looked up, then saw Umika’s smile.

“I like you too Chinen-kun, so much. Right now my heart is leaping out of joy” she said then smiled sweetly at Yuri

“You will go out with me?” Yuri asked then Umika shook her head, still smiling “I won’t, I’m still too young Chinen-kun. But are you willing to wait for me?” she asked

Chinen smiled then hugged Umika “Yes, I would even wait till forever just to have you” he said then Umika hugged him back.

Hearing all of this, Mirai barged in, Umika and Chinen’s hug broke when they saw Mirai

“Umi-chan, why would you refuse that? That would be the perfect time, it would have been perfect!” she exclaimed

“Mirai-chan? What are you doing here?” Umika asked

Mirai then realized what she did and covered with her palms.

“I—I was just passing by and I ----- I sorta---you know----heard all that….. I’m SORRY!” she said then bowed

“Hongo-san? I thought you liked----“ Yuri said, Mirai did say once that she liked Umika just to cover her denied feelings towards Ryosuke

“Oh, that, it was just an excuse” Mirai said, actually she slipped her tongue, by the time she realized it, those words already went out from

“So, you really like who?” Umika asked though she didn’t know who the person Chinen and Mirai was referring to.

“It’s -----“ she was about to say secret when Ryosuke joined the conversation

“Mi-chan!” he said then gave Mirai a back hug which froze Mirai. Yuri and Umika knew who she liked. Mirai needs not to say it since her actions already confirmed it.

Ryosuke on the otherhand was really pressured and he wanted to release all this stress and pressures with the help of Mirai. He searched for Mirai and saw her together with Umika and Yuri. Without second thoughts, he hugged Mirai. He felt so alive, so warm, as if all his worries were erased. He then looked at Yuri and Umika, he wondered why they were having this sheepish smile on their lips. He the remembered, he was hugging Mirai. His fantasies were escaping towards reality.

“I think we should leave” Umika said

“I think so too” Yuri added

Then both of them went out, leaving Mirai and Ryosuke alone.

“Mi-chan, I----I’m sorry” he stuttered as he released his hands from hugging Mirai

“Oh, it’s alright Ryo-chan” Mirai answered awkwardly. Honestly, Mirai wanted Ryosuke not to let go of the tight hug Ryosuke gave her.

“I’m just so nervous. Suddenly I felt so pressured” Ryosuke said

“It’s going to be just fine, I’m on the same boat anyway” Mirai said as she bit her lips

Ryosuke who was staring at Mirai, noticed that she bit her lip. Suddenly he had the urge to kiss her. He then remembered his dream again. This is getting crazy, his heartbeat was all over the place and couldn’t control it.

“Mi-chan, what if….. what if---” Ryosuke asked not continuing his question which caught Mirai’s curiousity.

“What is it?” She asked

“What if, I tell you I’m not a gay” Ryosuke asked with his head down

“Then that would be cool, I like you no matter what” Mirai said then tapped Ryosuke;s shoulders

Ryosuke was enegized, as though all the pressure that was upon his shoulders was lifted off.

“Ryo-chan! I have something to tell you!” Mirai exclaimed a she remembered the confession

“What is it Mi-chan?” he asked

“Umika and Yuri! They both like each other! I’m so happy for them! At last they confessed their feelings! Unfortunately, Umika rejected Chinen-san saying that he needs to wait for some time, I wish Umika didn’t reject it” Mirai said

Ryosuke’s eyes widened, did her just hear it right? Mirai was secretly cheering for Umika and Chinen? He thought that Mirai was a lesbian and liked Umika. He was more relieved. No more obstacles.

They then went back to their classroom.
