The next weekend, when the sun is almost fading, Baekhyun and Chanyeol, together with Luhan and Sehun who joined them at the beach had samgyupsal and spicy steamed rice for dinner. After dinner, they all agreed to gather at the beach shore just in front of Baekhyun's house where they later on built a bonfire.

Chanyeol came in late with his guitar.

"OMG OMG OMG! Is this for real?! Are we going to watch you preform live and for FREE?! Wait, let me record this! This is once in a lifetime opportunity!" Luhan overly reacted when he saw Chanyeol.

Chanyeol just laughed and gaze at Baekhyun who is also smiling and feeling excited on what's going to happen. This will most likely be the first time he'll see Chanyeol perform. He have watched few of his videos though but he's excited to hear him sing live.

Sehun, who is also starstruck since earlier when he was introduced to the KPOP Idol is excited.

Chanyeol checked his guitar first and made sure it's not out of tune then he started to strum the guitar, his audience is holding their breathes waiting for the impromptu concert to start.


"I'm going to sing a song I personally wrote, I haven't finished it yet though, but I hope you'd like it." Chanyeol said before the started to sing.

Baekhyun found solace from Chanyeol's soothing voice. His voice is like a comfort blanket securely embracing him. He can't help but admire Chanyeol. "this is normal as a fan... i'm just a fan..."

Luhan and Sehun decided to stay over night since it's almost mid night and it's not safe to go out this time.

When Baekhyun entered his room, he was surprised to see Luhan and Sehun comfortably sleeping on his bed. Luhan sleeping on Sehun's chest and Sehun's arm around Luhan's waist. Baekhyun can't help but smile, he's happy that Sehun and Luhan found each other.

After making sure the doors downstairs are locked and the security alarm is on, Chanyeol walked his way to his room when he saw the Baekhyun's room and saw the situation.

"How are you going to sleep now?" Chanyeol asked laughing.

"I'll just sleep outside on the couch. It's okay. I'm used to this. You go to sleep now. It's already past midnight." Baekhyun said while trying to get a pillow and extra comforter from one of his cabinets.

Chanyeol gathered all his courage to ask Baekhyun what he is about to ask.

"You can sleep with me... I mean... We can share the bed, in my room.... it's pretty big so we can... uhmm share.... Yeah! So.. What do you think?" Chanyeol stuttered.

Baekhyun smiled shyly.. "Are you sure? I can really sleep on the couch though."

"No! Sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you, but how can I even sleep in a comfortable bed knowing that you're sleeping downstairs cold and alone." 

"You're so sweet Chanyeol. Okay! I'll take your offer. Let's go now and sleep." Baekhyun feeling the red flush on his face wasn't able to look straight to Chanyeol's eyes immediately left his room.

When they were already inside Chanyeol's room, Baekhyun immediately placed his pillow and blanket then climbed up to the right side of the bed, Chanyeol followed. There was a moment of "awkward" silence before Chanyeol found his voice.

"I had fun today. This is really the sweetest escape. Thanks to you Baek." Chanyeol is now facing the small guy on his face.

Baekhyun though felt his heart is going to explode. He can't explain why the thought of Chanyeol being this close to him is making him feel nervous or maybe excited or maybe it's between the two.

"It's okay, I'm happy you're enjoying your stay here." Baekhyun's short response without looking at Chanyeol and just staring at the ceiling.

Chanyeol, stared at Baekhyun for a while, and the idea he's been brushing of since last night popped up again. He tried so hard not to do what he was about to do.

He moved closer to Baekhyun and wrap his arms around his waist and rest his chin on Baekhyun's shoulder.

"Thank you..." the only thing he was able to say and closed his eyes while feeling the warmth of Baekhyun's body.

Baekhyun startled when he felt Chanyeol moved closer, he froze when he felt a long arm around his waist and face resting on his shoulder. He called all the names of saints he know when he realized what was happening, Chanyeol is embracing him. He took all his strength to move his hand and brush it to Chanyeol's arm, acknowledging him. Chanyeol smiled and they both drifted to sleep.

Or Baekhyun tried to....

1:07 am - Seoul

"Are you sure? Okay. Call Taemin to get the plane ready by noon time. We're going to pick up Chanyeol and get his back here."

Chanyeol's Manager received a report from the secret agent he hired that the Idol is in a small Island down south and currently staying at a private resort.

He need to get Chanyeol back ASAP since his concert rehearsals will start this week. It's been more than 2 weeks that he's gone. His Manager hopes he had enough.

Hiyeom! This is a very short Chapter but it really took me time. I was actually eating chocolate chip muffin when I was writing this. LOL!

By the way the song Chanyeol sang is Never Change by Kimberley Chen. Guys! I seriously fell in love with the song. I'll try to post the FANMADE VIDEO where I first heard the song (very soon). I need to ask the owner first if I can use it here.
