"So.... You're famous? like those singers I've seen on TV? Like that kind of famous?" Baekhyun curiously asked.

Chanyeol just nodded.

Luhan was ecstatic! He was jumping and rolling over Baekhyun's living room down to the carpet back to the couch.

"I'm sorry, not that I don't believe you, I'm just not really into.. uhmm you know, those kind of stuff."

"No it's okay. I'm just.. I'm actually surprised. I mean, I've appeared on TV for quite sometime now, but I didn't know that there's at least a single person here who doesn't have a clue who I am, and that makes me feel like I'm a normal person, because I am." Chanyeol shared.

Baekhyun smiled. "Well, I know who you are now, You're a big star.... But! You still look normal to me."

Chanyeol and Baekhyun both laughed.

Chanyeol just can't take his eyes off the smaller guy. When he laughs, it's like his world stops just to listen to it.

They went silent for a while, watching the sky turned orange to red, to blue to purple...

And Luhan just need to ruin that moment.

"So Baek, now that you know who HE is, I guess it's just right to formally introduce yourself to each other.. right?"

Silence... Both confused, Chanyeol and Baekhyun looked at Luhan.

"Okay. Okay. Let me do the honor. Baek," Luhan grabbed Baekhyun's right hand "this is Park Chanyeol. Chanyeol," he grabbed Chanyeol's left hand "this is Byun Baekhyun." Then their hands touched. Both smiling and shaking each others hand.

Then Baekhyun felt a sudden flush on his face, Chanyeol's smile has some funny effect on his tummy. So he immedietly let go of the other's hand.

Chanyeol on the other hand can swear he can hear his heart beating like a drum. Baekhyun's hand is so soft but he felt electricity flowing all over his body when they touched.



As soon as the awkward air vanished, they decided to go inside the house and prepare dinner. Baekhyun invited Chanyeol to stay and eat with them as he promised the taller guy a treat in return of saving him the other night. Chanyeol, of course, can't turn down the offer.


Baekhyun and Luhan prepared dinner, they made Kimchi Soup, Jjajangmyeon and steamed rice. Chanyeol enjoyed his first sumptuous dinner since he arrived last week, he's been eating fast food lately. After dinner, Chanyeol helped Baekhyun and Luhan fix the table and insisted to help in washing the dishes but Baekhyun didn't allow him because he's a visitor.


Around 8pm, Luhan left Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

"I have to wake up early tomorrow, I have to meet Sehun and help him review for his entrance exam. He only has 2 weeks to prepare." Luhan explained as he hugged Baekhyun and waved goodbye to Chanyeol.


And then the awkward silence is there again....

Baekhyun need to break it.

"I wonder if the apartment you're staying in right now is safe, I mean, are you sure they won't recognize you?"

Chanyeol can feel Baekhyun's concern from his voice.

"I don't know. But I didn't use my real name and I don't think they will. I'm being careful with my actions."

"Our resort is fully booked because it's pick season, but I have a spare room upstairs, you can use it while you're here." Baekhyun offered.

They are now sitting back at the porch with a cup of hot chocolate on their hands.

"I mean.. I'm just thinking that you'll be safer here than staying there where it's more prone to uhmm.. being discovered? and from how do you call those stalker fans again? Yeah, right! sasaeng, sasaeng fans." Baekhyun continued.

Chanyeol thought and weighed things for a while and have to agree with Baekhyun.

"Are you sure?" Chanyeol asked.

"Yes I'm sure. And besides, I thought you want to be normal? You can be normal here." Baekhyun smiling.

"Really?! Thanks Baekhyun!" and Chanyeol is just too happy that he didn't realize that he hugged Baekhyun.

"Uhmmm.. Okay.. So when are you moving in? I mean when are you going to transfer? Baekhyun rephrased his question because the first one didn't sound right.

"Can I transfer now? I mean It's night so it's a perfect timing, no one will notice. Promise I'll make sure no one will follow." Chanyeol too excited.

"You need help? My car is at the garage. We can use it to save time."

"Baek, I really don't know how to thank you for all of these."

"There are a lot of ways to thank me..." Baekhyun grinning.

"Like what?" Nervous, Chanyeol is thinking about something else.

"Like ask for your autograph?"

Both laughed and Baekhyun grabbed his jacket and his car keys then Chanyeol followed him to the garage.

 

Moving Chanyeol's stuff to the car was very easy, but not the drive back home. They have to drive all the way to the highway, and to the busy streets before driving back to Baekhyun's house. They need to be very careful and make sure they're not being followed. Better safe than sorry, like what they say.

"I didn't expect it will be this exciting though. It's like in the movies where the lead star was trying to escape from his enemies." Baekhyun laughing, he let Chanyeol drive his car.

Chanyeol would glance at the small guy beside him and amazed by how he likes the sound of Baekhyun's laugh. He's growing fondness to the beautiful guy.

When they pulled out from the car, they immediately went inside Baekhyun's house.





Just when they thought they were not followed, the same man who's been following Chanyeol from his Day 1 on the Island captured everything that happened.
