42. Beyond dreams

Beyond the veil

'Must…save baby…must…' junsu begged, he was ready to die, he was ready for anything as long as it meant saving his baby boy

Yoochun shivered violently from head to toe, he looked at junsu with tears in his eyes. No one else could help them. No one was able to move. They were alone in this

'Please…chunie' junsu whispered, his voice shivering, pleading, as he looked at yoochun

Yoochun closed his eyes, unable to breathe, his heart dead already, his body limb unable to move, his mind shut down and everything seemed so distance, so far away from him, he was standing in the dark all alone with his sword in his hands, junsu beside him begging and crying and the fog still holding his baby in it attacking him and torturing the weak baby

Yoochun raised his sword, slowly, weakly, the sword felt as heavy as his heart as it rose in the air, junsu's eyes were glued to him; he was looking at him with the ghost of a smile on his lips

Yoochun parted his lips, it looked so hard to do that as they seemed to be sealed, his voice didn't seem as his own, he opened his mouth and whispered ' sorry' in a very weak and shaky voice

Junsu nodded softly and the ghostly smile left his lips, he looked into yoochun's eyes one last time and closed his eyes, he took a deep breath and nodded again, he was ready for it

Yoochun gathered every drop of energy he still got, he raised the sword higher and walked toward junsu, slowly, step by step he walked closer and closer till he was finally there, he was in front of junsu, the fog was right above them

'I love you'

The soft whisper was heard again in the same weak, shaky voice as yoochun lowered his sword, he must make it quick, painless, he must make sure his lover wouldn't hurt, junsu won't be in pain. That was the least he could do for him now

Yoochun lowered the sword more and more, soon, yoochun's sword dove into junsu's flesh, he could feel it more than see it, his eyes were close, he couldn't handle open them now, he couldn't face junsu as he claimed his life and soul

Yoochun heard junsu gasp a little, he felt him lean in, fall against the sword, his head fell against yoochun's shoulder and junsu… was gone

Yoochun didn't open his eyes still, it hasn't ended still, to end this and make junsu's sacrifice counts he had to get that fog, he had to do it

Yoochun pointed his sword upward and jumped, junsu's body limb, still held by the sword's blade, rose with yoochun and the fog, noticing what was going to happen, noticing how his time became limited, counted, as it saw the danger coming to it the fog tried to back away, it tried to escape but too late, yoochun wasn't going to let it go, junsu had to die for it to happen, it will end tonight, if he had to lose his wife, the man he loves more than anything, then this fog will be over, will die too, it will all be done with, he will save their baby, will raise him to remember his mother and know him by heart, he will tell him how great junsu was and how pure hearted he is to sacrifice his life for their baby's

Yoochun reached high, it was as if something was giving him the strength to jump so high, to reach the fog, and so yoochun sliced the fog with the already blood stained sword and this time it worked. This time, as the scroll said, the fog seemed to suffer; it began to shrink more and more, wrapping the sword's blade in one, tight, black, circle just inches above junsu's body

Yoochun landed on the floor, the sword still in his hands glowing with a weird light, it's powers working now, the sword that could claim a hundred lives with one had just claimed the life of his wife. The spell that bounded everyone seemed to break; they all ran to yoochun at once, leeteuk and yunho pulled junsu's pale, bleeding body off the sword as kangin held onto yoochun's trembling body and helped him slowly to sit on the ground

The baby who had been still floating in midair landed slowly, gently and yoochun rushed to him at once, holding him in his hands and crying, he cried helplessly now as he held his baby in one hand and tried to hug junsu's lifeless body with the other, how could he live on now? How will he get over this? Why was it so hard to breathe?

'Yoochun… you should let go… he's dead… we must…' kangin tried softly, it was only natural to bury him, to return his body to nature, to where it came from in the first place

'NO!' yoochun yelled, looking at his baby, seeing how calm he was, he had woke up at some point because his eyes were opened, he was looking up at yoochun and blinked, as if asking him why was he crying?

'Your mother is gone, dead…' yoochun whispered softly, the words were causing him a huge amount of pain

Minho looked at yoochun once again and blinked, the earth began to shake around them, everywhere began to shake and junsu's body floated up in the air and began to fly somewhere, everyone followed, shocked and worried

Leeteuk wiped away his tears, he saw jaejoong walk to them from the castle, rushing, and he waited for him, he waited till jaejoong reached them and saw junsu's dead body, he saw how tears filled jaejoong's eyes and hugged him softly, fresh tears filling his eyes as well and together they walked after junsu's body, all the time jaejoong was having this weird feeling in his belly, as if his baby wanted to tell him something, but he couldn't understand, he didn't know what was it his baby wanted to tell him but he knew it was important so he tried to listen, through the sadness and the shock he tried to listen

They all stopped, the walls were gone, looking at the two white tombs in front of them everyone gasped, they were right in the forbidden part of the garden were jaejoong's parents rested in their white tombs, the walls around the tombs were gone, they were glowing in a weird way and slowly they began to vanish into light buds that filled the night sky restoring the moon and the stars into their original light, the light buds then gathered to form one place to form one tomb, one fresh white tomb that was open, empty and ready to receive the new dead body in it

'No…no…' yoochun trembled and cried, trying to hold on junsu's body, not wanting it to enter the tomb

'Mother…father…' jaejoong was shocked, worried where his parents went to, but even more worried about junsu, sad that he won't see his baby anymore, won't raise him and watch him grow, he couldn't hold thinking of that, thinking about it happening to him killed him, he couldn't do it, it was more than horror, it was the worst feeling ever

Junsu's body moved by itself, not effected by yoochun's restraining hands, it landed softly in the tomb which closed itself, it was sealed now, it was sealed with junsu's body inside, it was too much now, yoochun's poor heart couldn't take more

Yunho felt something strange happen to him, the sword appeared in his hand at once, his sword, yoochun's sword's twin, the sword of the heavens and it was glowing somehow

'What…?' yunho was shocked to see the sword in his hand acting like that, he had tried to activate the sword's powers for so long and failed all the time, so why now?

'Ahhh!!' jaejoong held his belly tightly and frowned, his baby was doing something and whatever it was it was hurting him, it was taking too much of his powers that he was barely able to stand now, leaning against leeteuk for support

Minho, the baby in yoochun's hands giggled a little, as if happy with what's going on, pleased with whatever was happening

Yoochun looked down at his son and blinked, why was he giggling happily when he should cry out loud, when his mother just died

Yunho's body moved on its own will, his hand rose with the sword shining in it, it slashed down once again hitting the white marble and breaking the cover free

Everyone gasped, jaejoong even yelled in horror but yoochun widened his eyes and looked at his baby blankly, a soft, ghostly smile appeared on his lips now, he just prayed that what he hoped just happened indeed happened

'That was what you were up to?' yoochun whispered to his baby, Minho giggled a little and reached his hands to the tomb, wanting to be held by someone else beside his father

Yoochun grinned, he looked beside him and handed his baby to kangin at once while he rushed to the tomb, everyone thought of him as crazy but he didn't care, he began to push the broken rocks away till he opened the tomb, looking there at junsu still bleeding he gulped, he reached his hand to touch junsu's face and felt the warmness in it, he felt the heat in the body, maybe hope wasn't dead yet

Yoochun waited for a few seconds, he waited beside the tomb frowning but nothing was happening

'Yoochun… honey he's…' leeteuk tried but yoochun shook his head, he didn't want to hear it

'Su… come on baby, please, open your eyes, come on love…' yoochun pleased and waited beside the body, everyone waited, everyone held their breath hoping that the boy was to open his eyes any second now, but he didn't, junsu wasn't opening his eyes and yoochun frowned, suddenly it hit him…
