After a while of walking around town with Hojoon, I started to realize that he wasn't taking me back. I mean, I obvious wasn't here for so long, but it was long enough to be quite familiar with my surroundings. While he was still walking ahead of me I stopped my feet and just looked down--he must've heard me stop or something because he finally turned around. "Come." He said, but I shook my head. "Sangdo...he didn't send you at all did he?" I asked, already fully aware of the answer. But he just closed his eyes and sighed then gave me a calm look and said, "Hyeji--" "What are you doing? You've made it pretty clear you don't want me these past few days okay?" I indignantly said. 

     "Look I'm sorry!" Hojoon said, "What I did was completely out of line." He was walking towards me, out of anger I raised my hand like I was about to hit him but put it down when I realized what I was doing. "Are you going to hit me? It's fine! It really is, go on. I deserve it all! Hit me as many times as you have to until you think I hurt as much as you!" He said, grabbing my hand. "Do it!"

     I pulled my hand away from his grasps then asked, "Is this what you wanted? To bring me here and tell me to hit you for all your actions?" "No, I brought you to apologize--" I scoffed, stopping him and said, "You think I really want to hear something from you?" He sighed, "Please, listen--" "I don't want to hear it Hojoon!" I said.

     "Oh my ing god, just listen, I'm not asking for you to move a mountain!" He yelled out, silencing me. "You can hate me for all you want, I'll understand why. You're mad at me because all this time I haven't uttered a single word to you ever since you told me about your condition or haven't even at least showed up to school--I get that, but my reason, is something that you probably wouldn't understand."

     "You're the worst." I muttered. He sighed then looked down on the ground, "I know...I can't even bring myself to look at you anymore. I tried to distance myself from you, thinking that if I did that, I wouldn't hurt anymore...but obviously I was wrong. All I did was make it worse for the both of us." For a moment he was silent, I thought he was done but I felt his hand slightly touch my neck to reach the chain I was still wearing, then raised his head. "I'll stay with you until the end." he said.

     There were a million things I wanted to do including beating him up, yelling at him, and leaving him....but all those things were something I could never do. I guess that's why I still kept the necklace--something in me had a little hope that he'd come back. "Let's go back now." Hojoon said, wrapping an arm around me, "Does this mean you forgive me?" I rested my head on his shoulder then said, "For now maybe." I heard him chuckle then say, "I can deal with that then."
