I whipped out my phone and clicked on my first speed dial number. My footsteps got faster. I heard snickering behind me.

RING RING… RING RING…

Please pick up Chanyeol!

The call went straight to voicemail.

Oh crap.

I turned my head to peek behind me and I could see three enormous guys stumbling behind me. They didn’t look sober. I quickly pressed the second speed dial number.

RING RING...

RING RING...

RING RING...

AISH, why won’t he pick up?!

I kept dialing, and walked even more rapidly.

Suddenly, I felt an unknown hand creep onto my shoulder.

“Y-Yobosaeyo?” the phone said.

“Kyungsoo-ah! HELP!”

“WHERE ARE YOU?!” I bellowed into the phone.

“In the alley nearby the café! HURRY!”

She let out a terrifying scream.

“HELLO?! HELLO?!”

No answer. I’ve never been more petrified in my life.

I froze for a moment. Haneul’s dazzling smile flashed before my eyes.

Snapping out of it, I slammed down the money to pay for my meal and sprinted out of the café. I looked around everywhere for her.

“HANEUL! HANEUL!” I yelled through the streets.

“KYUNGSOO! AHHH!” I heard her shriek. I saw her running through the alley.

Oh no.

The bozos chased her into the dead end while I ran for her life.

I finally caught up to them while they were cornering her into the wall.

“Don’t touch her.”
