"Wounds"C h a p t e r N i n e
“Hah...wake up.” He shoved my arms and poked my face. “Wake up Kain”
I opened my eyes and the morning sun hit me in my face, I yawned sheepishly.
“Leave me alone”. I turned to the next side of the bed and pulled the sheet over my head.
“I have to go to work.” He pulled my feet from under the covers and dragged me off the bed
“I have to go to work and so do you”
“Work?” I lift my left eyebrow “I don’t work, where will I get a job anyways”
He throws a newspaper on me “Here”.
I opened the paper and looked inside, smiling and giggling.
“Hah...What’s so funny?” He smirked
“Don’t you see these jobs only accept high qualifications?!”I shouted as I stood up and looked at him
“Well, you can’t stay here forever “He said sighing in frustration
“Humph, I know that” I shrugged mischievously “But, I have an idea”
“An idea? You couldn’t even save yourself from a whorehouse, what makes you think I’m going to listen to you?” He sipped his coffee and looked at me while fixing his tie.
“Well, I ‘m not completely stupid Kevin. “I smiled as I grabbed up my jacket and walked down the stairs and found my way to the kitchen.
“Hah, .where is you going?” Kevin asked as he followed behind me
“To get something to eat “I turned approximately and glimpse at him.
“Baegopa” I said, pulling the chair from under the table and throwing the filthy jacket on the floorboards nearby the window.
“Well, you can’t cook here. “He leaned on the wall alongside the table, sipping his coffee.
“Why can’t I?” I asked while looking out the window and spotting a girl running down the street
“Because, I said so.”
“I see you’re the most egotistic individual and hoity-toity person I have ever met” I sated while pushing my self from the table and walked to the door “I’ll go look a job” I said, as I closed the door while leaving
“Hah...Kain” He snickered below his bottom voice “dim-witted girl”
I walked down the road next to a corner store; I stopped and looked at the sign “Casher needed”. Should I do this, I can’t do anything really. That jerk, he could’ve at least given me a job at his big up-tight company.
I walked into the store and a big body girl greeted me
“Hello, welcome, may I help you”
I swallowed my words, I was panicky; I never looked for a job before
“Yes, I saw that you guys are looking for a casher “I engrossed my coat and sighed
“Yes, we are, but aren’t you a bit too young?”She glanced at my posture and looked back at my face
“Andwae! I’m 23 years old” I shake my hand continuously
“Do you have in the least Identification?”
