It was 6pm and Kyuhyun was getting ready to leave the office, he was putting some papers into his suitcase, he planned to look at them at home, before he goes to sleep.

6pm was actually quite early and an unusual time for Kyuhyun to leave. He was always one of the last persons to leave, which was around 10pm. It wasn’t that he was obligated to be there so long, the official end of working hours was at 7pm, he just loved his job and had to many cases to work on.

The silence in the room was interrupted when he heard a knock at his door, but he didn’t stop his actions or even looked at the door when he said come in.

It wasn’t a client, because he always made appointments with them beforehand and there were only two persons that mostly hang at his office, if it wasn't Siwon, since they were partners on a lot of cases it was Ren his secretary and a friend.  Siwon and Kyuhyun met her in high school, even though they are 2 years apart in age they were friends ever since.

A gorgeous woman stepped inside his office, she was tall, but only because she wore stilettos that were sky high, her skirt was almost too short to be appropriate for work, she had white blouse on top and pass here shoulder fell lightly curled blond hair, here make up was perfect. This is Ren, always perfect.

She smiled at Kyuhyun, showing her white set of straight teeth. ''Leaving already?''

Kyuhyun than looked up. Ren had a bunch of papers in her lap. ''Family dinner, what are those'' Kyuhyun pointed at the papers she was holding. ''Important?'' He added before he closed his suitcase. ''Oh, that time of the month, I completely forgot'' This time her smile was kind of forced. Kyuhyun looked her way, she put down the papers on his desk, he wasn’t sure if he should tell her the news.

“L came back” There, he said it.

''All these papers are the documents for your Japanese case ... is he still mad?'' She tried to ignore his statement, but she couldn’t, she had to ask about him.

''I haven’t seen him or talked to him yet, besides you’re the one who should be mad not him '' Kyuhyun said carefully, he knew that this topic was hard for Ren.

''I should be, right'' Ren murmured quietly before she left the office. Kyuhyun looked how the doors closed behind her. He let out a sigh.

The Cho's had family dinner once every month. It was Kyuhyun's mother who insisted on this tradition. But this time, it wasn't an ordinary dinner; their mother told them in advance that she has a surprise for them, but Mrs. Cho always had surprises prepared, so Kyuhyun didn’t gave it to much thought.

When Kyuhyun arrived everyone was already there, but something was off.

He first went to the kitchen and his parents were unusually happy.

''Oh, Kyuhyuni is here'' his mother hugged him. ''The dinner will be in a couple of minutes, your hyung came back, have you seen him yet?'' His mother hasn’t even heard his answer when she quickly pushed him out of the kitchen.

L or Myungsoo, his real name, was Kyuhyun’s hyung, but their difference was only in 5 min, they were twins.

When he was standing there in the dining room, all plates ready, just the food missing, he heard a hello from behind, and he didn't have to turn back to know who it is.

“It's been long since we last saw each other'' The atmosphere was awkward and L didn't know what more to say. There was a slight pause before Kyuhyun answered. ''Oh it wasn't that long, how much, just 2 years, that's nothing'' Kyuhyun sarcastically sad as he turned around to face him.

Kyuhyun haven't been looking at L with hate since forever. It started when L left Ren from the stupidest reasons, he more like ran away and that pissed Kyuhyun off.

L wanted to say something more but Kyuhyun intentionally bumped his shoulder at him when he left the room.

Kyu headed to the living room where Sungkyu, his older brother and Hyolyn, his wife were glaring at each other, it was nothing new, Kyuhyun doesn't remember a single month that his brother or Hyolyn wouldn't be calling for a divorce from the most stupidest reasons. You could see they love each other very much, but they were lacing on patience department. But the whole family was used to it by now, and their mom didn't worry about it as much as before.

On the couch Hoya and Bora were sitting, about 5cm apart, acting all shy. Kyuhyun took a deep breath, those two were too much, they were the exact opposite from the SungHyo couple. They are married for a couple of years now and are still acting like it’s their first time dating. They even have a child, Kyuhyun just couldn't understand that.

He wanted to sit down but changed his mind when he saw them ''secretly'' holding hands, he just rolled his eyes and sit on the opposite side next to Hyungsoo, Yuri's husband to be, he seemed normal.

''Hey'' Kyuhyun greeted and Hyungsoo greeted back. ''Where's Yuri?'' There was a slight pause before his sister’s fiancé turned to him, and Kyuhyun could see his tired face.

''Don't ask'' Kyuhyun laughed a little. ''What happened this time?'' Hyungsoo laid back ''I don't know, she came home from her yoga class all pissed and she's mad for some reason ever since.'' Hyungsoo massaged his temples. ''And where is she now?'' Kyuhyun asked. ''Upstairs she's playing with the kids.'' Kyuhyun wanted to ask something more but their mother called that the dinner is ready.

The table was full of delicious food that Mrs. Cho prepared, she was an excellent cook. Everyone was eating only the cook herself was poking with the fork the food on her plate and every once in a while she exchanged a look with her husband. Hyolyn seemed to be the first to notice her strange behavior.

''Is something wrong mother? The food is delicious.''

''Thank you, is not that something wrong is just that we '' She put her hand over her husbands ''we made some big decisions and I don't know where to start'' Now all the eyes were on them. ''Is it about that surprise that you mentioned?'' Sungkyu asked. ''Yes'' his father answered. ''I feel bad about it, since L just came back, but we wanted to do this for some time now''

 ''What, what?'' Yuri became impatient. Hyungsoo nudged her. ''Watch your tone, they're your parents'' Yuri just glared back at him and . Mr. Choi coughed a little before he spoke. ''We are selling this house''

This was a surprise for everyone. ''Why? What’s wrong?'' Kyuhyun asked. ''Nothing's wrong'' His mother answered him. ‘‘I and your mother had a little chat, you are all grown up now and old enough to take care of yourself.'' He looked at Kyu and L, they were still staying here, and then back to his wife, who had a hard time letting them go. ''We think that we raised you well, we gave you our best years of life and now is time that the rest that is left, we spend for ourselves.''

The children looked at each other, what their father said made sense.

''I understand that, but what are you going to do after you sell the house?'' Yuri asked. ''We are going to move to Japan'' ''Japan!'' Everyone said in unison. ''Where did you found Japan?'' L asked. ''You don't know, but actually we met in Japan and had our honeymoon there and there sare ome good memories from there, so we decided to move there'' ''Wow, but when are you leaving? What about my wedding?'' Yuri's wedding was 2 weeks away.

''Don't worry sweetie, we'll leave after the wedding'' Mrs. Cho smiled.

Everyone accepted the news well; they understood their parents and wanted for them to be happy. Later that evening their mother brought up some old albums and they laugh at remembering the memories that those pictures hold.

The only one who didn't seem in the good mood was Yuri.

''Ok, what is it?'' Kyuhyun dragged her into the kitchen to talk; she was glancing at him the whole evening.

Yuri's lips were shut. ''C'mon Yuri, you've been moody through the whole evening and the way you are looking at me I know u want to tell me something''

Yuri crunched her face, it annoyed her, how Kyu always read her so well. ''I saw her, we go to the same yoga class''

''Who are you talking about?'' Yuri rolled her eyes. ''Sungmin, who else.'' Kyuhyun’s eyes widened. ''You saw her where?'' Yuri hoped up on a kitchen counter. ''I don't know if I should be telling you this, but ... she's one month pregnant'' Kyuhyun was taken aback. ''Don't worry, I told her what she deserves, that .'' She growled.

''Wait, wait, wait, what have you just said? p-pregnant?'' ''If you ask me, she’s two months not just one, you can already see a little of her tummy when mine is still flat! She probably cheated on you when you were dating! '' She scoffed.

Kyuhyun’s head was spinning. The word pregnant was ringing in his ears.

Being raised in a big and loving family, Kyuhyun was always fond of children and the thought of getting married someday. But his believes were crushed by women that he met, he gave up on the thought of having children and focused on his second love, his work. But now, why does he have a feeling that he's having another chance?

''It mine'' He uttered. ''Huh?'' Yuri didn't understand her brother’s muttering. ''The baby Yuri, its mine'' Yuri pated his shoulder. ''Look, I know that you'' She couldn't finish her sentence. ''No you don't understand, it's mine, the baby's mine!''

It must be his, he remembered that the night they met, Sungmin clearly stated that she's alone and even Siwon said that she's not seeing anyone.

 ''What are you saying? Haven't you said that she got back together with her ex and that they're getting married now?'' Kyuhyun scratched his nape. ''That ... aaaa'' ''Is not true?'' Yuri finished his sentence. ''Yeah ....''

 ''What! Kyuuuu what's wrong with you??'' She slapped his arm. ''What, what? I thought that if I came up with something mom will stop pestering me about it'' Yuri slapped him a couple of times more. ''Oh god'' She than covered her face ''What have I done!'' ''What did you do?'' ''You stupid'' She hit him again and left the kitchen. ''Yah! What did you do?'' Kyuhyun yelled after her but got no answer.

He realized that he was smiling. Maybe this is his chance, it would be perfect, the fact that Sungmin didn't came to him with the news means that she's certainly not after his money and it also made him kind of angry, why was she trying to hide it? They could totally raise this child together.

He pulled his phone out and dialed Siwon’s number.

''Hey, where does Sungmin live?''

This one’s a little boring … I know

But after this the fun part starts :D
