It was the sixth of February when a girl by the name of Oh Young encountered a nameless young man. The seventeen year old art student, needless to say, had lost the will to live, but then, she found him ...
Young was yet to learn the meaning of life, even though death was upon her. Will he, the young man, make a different decision? And thus, a story of hope and fate begins.
macchiato-'s note:
I know that stories about death angels are not rare, but the plot development of Emulsion of Wings is completely above the normal standard. Not only did redocean- convey the feelings of both characters, she also attempts to write a story that reflects on life. There are underlying morals and messages being told alongside some touches of romance and tragedy.
(+) redocean- surely knows how to build her characters. You will understand why Young wanted to lose her soul, for her feelings and thoughts were vividly shown throughout. The consistent mentions of winter, bougainvillea and hope will trigger your feels. If you're the type who cry reading, I can guarantee you will when you read Emulsion of Wings. Wide range of vocabularies but still easy to comprehend. Meaningul morals, too.
(-) Slow updates (most recent was posted on July 21) but the author is a friend of mine and I know she's going to complete the story in four chapters only, meaning she'll just have to post another one to make you cry a river. She's in the process of writing it, I know because she told me lol, so you should give the story a try! Don't read this if you're in search of some fluff or overflowing romance or if you can't handle sad stories/tragedies.
