This got to be the first collection of poems that I recommend in the thread. Blue Sky, Green Void attracts me for its strong and honest conveyance, not to mention that it has strong metaphorical senses as well. I myself haven’t written many English-language poems, but as a poet (who writes only in my first language), I can say that I fall in love with the poems written by kloh-ay for its approach and well-delivered messages.
(+): For those who enjoy poetry, believe me, you’ll love the pieces included in this collection. kloh-ay has her own, distinctive way of writing something based on some prompts, and the result always appears honest and relatable. My favorite poems so far would be Graceful Jungle and all versions of Caged Bird – you might want to check those out first.
(-): I am not in the place to criticize this collection, because if we talk about poetry, the writer has a way more advanced skill and ability than I do lol. There isn’t any flaw, frankly saying, so those who enjoy reading poetry, why don’t give this collection a try?
note: I'm sorry for not updating the thread for quite a long time. Senior year keeps me busy even through the weekends I barely have time to read *sigh*. I'd be very grateful if you guys can at least tell me what you think about the stories I recommended, moreover if you drop some recommendations that I can consider putting.
