macchiato-'s note:
Those who want this particular ship to sink may close the tab and run for their life because the following, few recommendations will be starring no other than Kai and Krystal, yehet! I don’t know if you guys have noticed but I’m a (big) kaistal shipper (because I DON’T think every male idol is ship-able with Krystal, I just think Kai is and Sehun can now go away with Ssul or whoever he wants to be with).
So, here’s a kaistal oneshot for you! My friend redocean- actually screamed at my face and forced me to read this story (she was all like omg this story is so amazingly written I don’t know what to say omg do you remember Ferris wheels the kaistal collection omg it’s amazing), so after procrastinating for about a few weeks, I finally read the one-shot she was referring to, and now I’m going to force you guys to read it too.
scars are for the living is the 7th story under the kaistal collection, “Ferris Wheels” written by our lovely kagamiwa. I’ve read some of her stories before (floodwrecked is a must-read) and she’s now back, after a long months of hiding in the silence, with such a magnificent one-shot.
(+): Plot. Characters. Language. Flow. Plot. Everything about this story is just nearly, if not, perfect. I could’ve recommended floodwrecked or let me fall but scars are for the living had left me so awestruck. The entirety of the story is just so magical. The plot is peculiar and I’m not telling any of it because I don’t want to give you spoilers, but here in the story, kagamiwa actually pulled a jack frost on us! Enough said. Give it a try or else you’ll just regret it (and subscribe to the collection because she writes beautiful pieces of kaistal you’ll regret not reading.)
(-): call me biased, but I can’t really think of any. She has a peculiar style of writing, excellent grasp on the language and vocab, and it’s kaistal – what else do we need?
