Taemin POV:

I was spacing out in the Angel history. It’s not like I was missing much, all they were talking about is how God created the angels in the first place. Don’t get me wrong I like this story, but my mother used to tell me that story all the time so I would never forget its importance. She would be disappointed if she knew I was dozing off, so I asked the teacher to be excused for a drink of water. I exited the classroom and decided to go to the fountain in the quad. It was a good distance that would kill some time, and get some blood pumping into my veins. I reached the fountain and began drinking. I was so engrossed in it that I didn’t realize someone else was bored of their class and need a break as well.

“Skipping class? Naughty naughty” the voice said amused. I nearly choked on my water, and turned around to be met with huge eyes.

“M-Minho-hyung!?” I said surprised, nearly dying of a heart attack. Minho chuckled.

“Well I see someone already figured out who I am. That interested in me huh?” he said with an amused grin. I blushed furiously and hid my face.

“n-no it’s just I….” Minho laughed.

“Its okay I’m just messing with you. What’s your name since you already know mine?” I gulped and answered.

“T-taemin…” Minho nodded.

“Nice to meet you Taemin.” I nodded. We stayed silent for a little while until I spoke up wanting to end the grueling tension.

“S-so what class did you come from?” Minho smiled.

“Oh I came from blood types 105, it’s a junior class.” I looked at him with wide eyes.

“Blood types….?” He laughed at me.

“Yes Taemin, I am a vampire after all, it’s pretty standard for us to know what blood types are good for the kind of blood you are neh?” I was startled stiff. I had no idea he was a vampire. I guess that would explain his iness that kind of had a dark yet gentle touch to them. He noticed me thinking and smirked deciding to play a prank on me. Without realizing it I was against his chest and his face was buried in the crook of my neck, sniffing me. I shivered.

“M-minho-shii….w-what are you…” he smiled against my neck.

“Are you scarred Taemin-ah….hmm? Are you afraid of me now that you know what I am?” I was shaking, but not because I was scared but because of the contact.

“n-no I’m n-not scarred….” I said still shaking. He smirked.

“Are you sure…I mean I could just bite you right now, you smell awfully sweet…” I whimpered at that, and suddenly he let me go laughing. I turned around blushing and scowling at him.

“That…that was mean hyung!” I said pouting. Minho laughed and ruffled my hair.

“I’m sorry taemin, you were so lost in thought I thought I would mess with you a little. Forgive me?” he said using some aeygo. I felt myself melting and I nodded.

“Its okay hyung…hey hyung?” I asked. He looked up.

“Yea taemin-ah?” he said with a gentle smile.

 I blushed.

“I….why are you so kind to me…..I mean Yuri…” I stammered out. Minho smiled.

“Well when I got there that day her goons were beating you up, she told me that you were some bratty freshman that pushed her. However when I saw you at the vending machine yesterday and now I can tell she’s just trying to get attention. It’s rather annoying at times but hey. You’re a nice kid. If you’d like we can be friends?” he said with a gentle smile. I couldn’t believe my ears. Choi Minho, the Choi Minho wanted to be my friend….are the Gods in heaven smiling on me extra bright today? I nodded my head fast.

“Y-yes I’d like to be friends I would love that!!” I said a little too excited. Minho laughed at that.

“Okay awesome. Now I think it’s time I headed back to my class, I have been gone for awhile. I could walk you to your class if you’d like. I know it’s not really allowed during class hours but I won’t tell if you won’t.” He said with a mischievous grin. I nodded and smiled.

“y-yes please.” I said happily. He smiled. We laughed and talked about little things on our way to my class when we got there he looked at the door and smiled.

“Angel huh? I guess that’s why your blood smelled purely sweet.” I blushed.

“t-thank you hyung, see you later…” he laughed and leaned close to my ear.

“Bye bye taeminie.” He said with a smirk. I blushed at the pet name and scurried in to the class. I heard his laugh all the way in the class room. I sat down at my desk, and buried my face in my book. I started replaying what just happened and found myself blushing and giggling like a school girl which earned me a few stares and a curious yet amused glance from the teacher.

“Something you’d like to share with all of us Taemin?” the teacher called amused. I shot out of my chair and fell backwards. The whole class erupted into laughter as I composed myself still blushing. The teacher settled the class down and told me to get my head out of the clouds. Despite my embarrassment, I couldn’t wait to tell Kevin and Key umma.

Minho POV:

As I walked into my class room I found myself thinking about something or rather someone. That Taemin kid….he was really cute. He was sweet and from what I could tell it wasn’t just his personality that was sweet. His blood was as well, as far as I could smell on his velvet skin. I’d give anything for just a little taste….wait what am I thinking! I have Yuri….and I know damned well that she would tear him apart if she could hear my thoughts. However Taemin….he’s so different from Yuri. He’s nice, kind, has a smile like sunshine, and is adorable beyond belief. Yuri however is power hungry, a gold-digger to be quite honest, mean, picks on innocents kids, and has been rounding up other guys behind my back. That kind of pisses me off. She didn’t seem like that when we hooked up freshman year. Hmmm, and now that I think about it, her blood isn’t quite as nice smelling as I now have Taemins sent implanted in my brain…Wait why the hell am I comparing them! I think the fumes from the different blood types in the class are getting to me, yea that’s it…but then again….hmmmm. Maybe during my P.E period ill talk to a wiser higher authority.

During P.E

“I have no idea!” came a clueless smile. I shook my head.

“Gee thanks Jonghyun your knowledge has taken me so far…” I said with as much sarcasm as I could muster. Jonghyun smiled.

“I’m being serious here Jong I mean I was comparing them in my mind, and he smelled so good…I don’t know what’s wrong with me…” I said to my best friend since freshman year. Jonghyun nodded getting a little bit more serious.

“Well if you want my personal opinion I’ve never like that you call your girlfriend. I mean you looked happy at first but later on you just seemed more drained. Personally I think you could do so much better.” Jonghyun said as he passed me the ball during our drill. I took jonghyuns words to heart. I didn’t realize I had looked so drained ever since I hooked up with Yuri, I thought she was the one I really liked…but after the cafeteria incident I’m not so sure.

“Well I think you really like this guy Min…just saying. By the way who is it?” I looked around

“Promise you won’t breathe a sound of it to anyone?” Jonghyun nodded.

“I promise now come on let’s hear it. Whose the lucky little bastard that has peeked your interest.” Jonghyun said with a smirk. I shook my head.

“Its uhh, it’s that new transfer freshman…you know…Lee Taemin.” Jonghyuns head perked at that.

“Oh him, I’ve seen him around I think. I believe I’ve seen him with that babealicious freshman Kim Kibum.” Jonghyun said with a small smile. Minho raised an eyebrow and smirked.

“Whoa whoa babealicious…. I never thought I’d see the day where the infamous play boy Kim Jonghyun falls for someone!” I said amused. Jonghyun glared at me, a small hint of a blush on his skin.

“Hey hey I never said I liked him man….he just peeks my curiosity is all….” I nodded feigning belief.

“Oh of course sure…my mistake.” I said winking at him. He just rolled his eyes and we started beating on each other. Teasing the other. Soon we heard the signal that said P.E was over and it was soon time for lunch.

“Come on man, let’s get showered and get a table at lunch…Yuri is probably expecting me.” Jonghyun just shook his head and made a gesture with his hand and a sound with his mouth that sounded like a whip clashing. I glared at him and he smirked.

“Shut up…you’re such an …” Jonghyun just laughed as we headed to the shower room.

Taemin POV:

“Sooooo Tae-baby…want to tell umma why you have been grinning from ear to ear since we got to the cafeteria? Hmmm?” Key asked with a knowing grin. I slurped my banana milk and hid my blushing face.

“I-its nothing umma…” Suddenly Kevin chimed in.

“Hey Taemin do you hear that sound?” I looked up

“What Kevin-shii” Kevin smirked.

“It’s the bull alarm!! Wheeeeoh wheeeeeoh bull alert ehh ehhh ehhhh!!” Kevin shouted obnoxiously. Key gave him a good smack to the head.

“Oww what I do!?” Kevin said feigning innocence.

“Shut the up, your disturbing the other students and your being annoying. Tae won’t want to tell us if you keep that up. Now pipe down before you “inspire” me to kick you in the balls.” Kevin stuck his tongue out at Key causing me to laugh.

“Sooooo what is it, come on we are waiting!!” Key said putting his head on his hands as his elbows rested on the table. I finally gave in. Key wouldn’t stop until I spilled the beans.

“Well, I went to get water during my angel history class a-and I ran into Minho hyung…” Kevin and Key were sitting on the edge of their seats by now.

“Go on go on” Key gestured with his hand. I blushed.

“W-well we started talking and he asked my name, and if I wanted to be friends. Then he walked me back to class.” I said with a happy smile. Key smiled shaking his head.

“My goodness….my baby is in love….sniff I never thought this would happen so soon…” I blushed ferociously.

“U-umma stop it….someone might hear….” Key then smirked.

“So you don’t deny it hmmmm?” I then realized I had been tricked and put my head down. Kevin smiled at me.

“Well despite my warnings to not get involved, I guess I can’t really stop you. However we will be here if you ever need back up okay?” I nodded hugging my friends.

“Thank you! That means allot! I really…” I stopped short because I suddenly saw Minho hyung coming into the cafeteria with someone that resembled a puppy dinosaur hybrid. Our eyes locked and he smiled at me and waved.  I smiled to and waved back. Suddenly his friend was looking at us? No he was looking at Key.

“Umma…” I whispered to Key. Key whispered too.

“What is it baby?” I then smirked.

“That guy is looking at you!” I said snickering. Key looked up and saw Jonghyun. He tried to hide his face but it was too late. Jonghyun was heading over to our table with a smile from ear to ear.

Jonghyun POV:

As I was walking with Minho I was him stop short. I wondered what had got my friends attention, and when I saw he was looking at that Taemin kid I understood. I was about to turn around when I noticed a familiar face. It was Kibum! I started smiling at him hoping he would notice me. Taemin did and told him I was looking at him. He looked up and quickly put his face down trying to hide…cute. I couldn’t help myself, I had to walk over and say hello. I forced Minho to come with me for support of course. When we reached the table I plopped myself down not caring that I wasn’t offered a seat.

“Hey y kitty! Remember me?!” I asked excited. I noticed Kibum look up and glare at me. He looked hot when he was angered.

“How could I forget…” Kibum said. I laughed at that.

“Well it’s good to see you again!! I’ve been thinking about you.” I said without shame. Kibum scoffed.

“Oh have you now. Well that makes one of us, because you haven’t crossed my mind at all.” Kibum said annoyed. I just laughed again.

“You’re fiery as usual! I love it!!” I said making Kibum roll his eyes. I then eyed Taemin who was sneaking looks at Minho. I decided to introduce myself.

“Hey there Taemin! My names Jonghyun nice to meet ya!” I then turned to the other kid.

“What’s your name?” he looked up and responded with a polite smile.

“Kevin nice to meet you.” I nodded then the Taemin kiddo spoke up.

“Its it’s nice to meet you Jonghyun-hyung but how do you know me?” Jonghyun then grinned.

“Oh well Minho here told me about you” I said without thinking. Taemin blushed and looked at Minho who turned his head.

“h-he did?” I smiled

“Yep! He said you were really cu…” but I was cut off by a shove on the shoulder.

“Yah shut up stupid mutt!” Minho said embarrassed. I started laughing.

“Sorry about that man, just being honest ya know.” Minho rolled his eyes and started making small chat with Taemin. I started talking to Kibum.

“So what’s for lunch?” Kibum just continued eating not looking at me.

“Its just some simple kimichi stew…nothing special.” I nodded and decided to be bold. I took a spoon and put a little bit of it in my mouth. Kibum got pissed.

“Hey that was my food, get your own damnit!” I laughed as I tasted his food.

“Wow this is delicious! You sure know how to cook that’s for sure.” I said giving him a wink. I noticed his blush.

“Sh-shut up Jonghyun…” Kibum said trying to hide his face. I grinned at that. Suddenly I noticed Minho signaling that it was time to go. Yuri was waiting. I noticed that the Taemin kiddo looked disappointed. He must have it bad for Minho. And Minho is such an airhead that he probably doesn’t realize it or know that he’s falling for the little cutie as well. I nodded and got up with Minho. Then an idea hit me. I picked up a napkin conspicuously and gave it to Kibum.

“Hey you dropped your napkin.” I said to him. Kibum just sighed and took it from me.

“T-thanks…” I smiled at that and left, telling him bye with enthusiasm. He just rolled his eyes and shooed me away. When we were out of ear shot Minho started talking.

“So that’s Kibum huh?” and I nodded agreeing.

“Yea that’s him!” I said with a grin. Minho laughed.

“Damn dude. I don’t care what you say, you have it bad! You can practically see your tail between your legs.” I smacked him.

“Oh shut! Let’s just get back to your girlfriend…I’m not in the mood to hear her about us being late.” Minho couldn’t agree more with that statement as we made our way to the other side of the cafeteria.

Key POV:

I have to calm down…damn that ing Kim Jonghyun for coming over here I thought to myself, now knowing that my friends were eyeing me with mischievous glints in their eyes. I looked up.

“w-what are you two looking at….” I said frustrated. Taemin laughed.

“Omg he’s so into you umma did you see the way he was looking at you?!” Taemin said jumping in his seat. Kevin nodded.

“Yea he’s totally feeling you, and I can tell you like him too.” I shouted at that.

“I do not like him!” I said crossing my arms, hissing at my friends. They just laughed enjoying themselves. I ignored them continuing my food. I got some of the sauce from my lunch on my face. I picked up the napkin Jonghyun gave me and before I could use it I heard Kevin and Taemin gasp and squeal. I looked at them funny.

“What?!” I said annoyed. Taemin spoke up.

“Umma turn that napkin around.” I looked at Taemin weird but did as told. I turned the napkin around and couldn’t believe what I saw. There on the napkin was Jonghyuns digits and a little sentence that said “call me”. I blushed ferociously. Taemin squealed.

“Awwww umma you’re so lucky! I would give anything to have Minho Hyungs number…” I glared.

“I don’t want this!” I said stubbornly. Kevin then chimmned in.

“If you don’t want it just throw it away neh? Here I’ll take it off your hands.” Kevin reached for the napkin but I retracted it. Taemin and Kevin smirked at me.

“I-I will throw it….I just think I should tell him off first!” I said making up an excuses. Kevin rolled his eyes.

“Yea yea whatever drama queen, but man you guys are so lucky! Key has Jonghyun, and Taemin has Minho….id give anything for Eli to notice me…. Maybe ill write him a confession letter.” Taemin smiled.

“That sounds nice hyung! Go for it!” I however didn’t agree. I had heard some pretty shifty stuff about this Eli guy, but never bothered to tell Kevin because I didn’t think he would do anything about his crush.

“I don’t know Kev….I think he’s bad news….maybe you shouldn’t…” Kevin frowned at that.

“What do you mean? You don’t even know him Key!” Kevin raised his voice a little.

“Well neither do you?!” I yelled back, annoyed because he couldn’t see that I was trying to protect him. Kevin just rolled his eyes.

“Whatever…you can’t tell me what to do.” With that Kevin picked up his lunch, even though there was still a good 10 minutes of lunch period to go and left. I sighed.

“Damn….he’s such an idiot…” Taemin suddenly put his hand on top of mine.

“He’s not an idiot umma….he’s just in love…and no matter what we have to be there for him, even if he doesn’t want to listen to us…right?” Taemin said innocently. I nodded, smiled and pet Taemins head.

“That’s right baby….I just hope he doesn’t get hurt….I really really hope not…” I said that knowing that once Kevin set his mind on something he would go for it. I guess that’s why he’s my best friend. He’s got more ambition then you can shake a stick at. Soon the lunch signal went off signaling the end of lunch. I packed up my stuff, exchanged numbers with Taemin and headed for my next class, determined to text Kevin that night and knock some sense into him.
