Taemin POV:

 As I watched the clock, anxious to get out of class…3…..2….1… Ring came the signal that class was over. I leapt out of my seat, packed my books, and headed out to my locker and stayed there waiting for Key and Kevin. I wasn’t going to lie. I was excited to be going to my friend’s house. I stood at my locker and waited. I suddenly saw my brother. I smiled brightly and waved at him calling him over to me. Onew saw me and smiled coming over.

“Hey baby brother what’s going on? Ready to go home?” Onew said as he pet my head lovingly. I shook my head still smiling.

“Actually Hyung, I made some friends and one of them invited me over. Can I go please oh please??” I said using my best aeygo. Onew scratched his head thinking, then smiled and nodded.

“Alright you can go. Just be home before dinner. I’m sure mother wants every dirty detail about our day. Oh and when you arrive home, you’re going to explain to me, the truth about that blemish under your eye.” Onew said the last phrase sternly. I looked down and nodded my head.

“Yes hyung….” Onew gave me a sympathetic smile and planted a kiss on my forehead. I blushed and frowned.

“Hyung!! Not at school….” Onew laughed at my cute outburst.

“I’m sorry baby boy, you’re just so cute sometimes. Well I’m going to see if I can meet with a few of my friends, I’ll see you at home.” And with that he left. I waved my brother off as I waited for Key and Kevin. Suddenly I heard a familiar voice.

“Tae-baby, ummas here!” I turned around, laughed and waved at them. Kevin hiding his face like he didn’t want to be seen with Key. I rushed over to key and gave him a hug.

“Umma!” I said with a smile. Key laughed and pets my head.

“Hey taemin-ah, did you wait long for us? Who was that guy you were talking to?” I noticed Keys killer umma instincts coming out. I just laughed.

“Don’t worry umma, that’s just Onew-hyung, my older brother.” I said reassuringly. Key just nodded and motioned for us to start heading towards the quad of the school where the exit was. When we got there I took note of all the students going to clubs, aid in school and just talking. I was still amazed at how huge the school was when everyone wasn’t in their rightful classes. Key suddenly spoke to us.

“Hey you guys I need to drop something off at the information desk over there I won’t be long.” Kevin and I both nodded as Key left. I then suddenly had a need for a drink.

“Kevin-hyung I’m going to get a drink from the vending machine, want anything?” Kevin smiled.

“Sure, a strawberry milk please.” And with that I went to the vending machine.

Key POV:

I was on the way to the information desk which was a good ways away from the quad. I was starting to worry about Taemin since after school was club activities like soccer which a lot of those douche bag jocks belonged to. As I was waiting I heard a cat call.

“*whistle* well isn’t that the cutest I have ever seen.” I turned around and was met with huge puppy eyes. The boy was looking at me up and down. He was slightly shorter than me, had slightly spiked up hair that was blond in the front and became brown in the back. He had a sharp jaw line that looked like a dinosaurs and a luscious body. I just glared at him and turned around back to my business. I walked into the office and handled what needed handling. I walked out of the office and much to my chagrin the same guy was standing out there as if he was waiting for me. I rolled my eyes and walked past him in full diva mode. I heard him laugh and follow me. I sped up and so did he.

“Hey wait up, what’s the rush y?” he said with a laugh.  I stopped and glared at him

“Leave me the alone, I never said you could follow me .” I hissed at him trying to get away but he just followed and walked beside me ignoring my comment. What is with this er?!

“Hey no need to be feisty pretty kitty, I just thought id introduce myself since you’re the lucky one who has caught my attention. My name is Jonghyun, Kim Jonghyun, I’m on the soccer team, what’s your name?” He said with a huge grin. I blushed but hid it.

“That’s none of your ing business leave me alone before I call security!” I said annoyed. Suddenly I felt myself being pushed against the wall with force but with gentle force. I looked astonished as the dino boy held me with a eating grin. I yelled.

“Infidel! Who do you think you are!?” Jonghyun just laughed.

“I already told you y, Jonghyun” Jonghyun said with confidence. His next moved surprised me. He slid his arms around me and his hands wondered to my . I squeaked blushing. He laughed then spoke again.

“Ah here it is” he said when I noticed he was holding my wallet which had my school I.D and personal information in it. I thought.

“Kim Kibum huh? I like that, it’s fiery like you” He said with a grin. I hissed and spat at him blushing.

“Get your dirty mutt hands off me this instant!!” I yelled as I struggled. He laughed and continued to hold me.

“I don’t know if I want to do that, your cute….I kind of like you” I blushed.

“What the hell stop it!!” I pushed him off and ran for it like a cat running from water. I finally found myself in the bathroom near where I left Kevin and Taemin. I shivered, because when my hands touched his body….I felt something I didn’t want to feel. I didn’t want it….why him….he’s such an ….a y saurus…. Come on Kibum get it the together I told myself, but I couldn’t help but think…Is he….no….I won’t let it happen….not him. I’ll have to ask mom, she will know what to do. I composed myself and left the bathroom and went to Kevin who was in a daze slightly. I put my hands in front of his face and snapped but he wouldn’t snap out of his trance. I looked to what he was staring at and I smirked. Eli Kim. He was head of the Water Polo team. I shook my head then realized that Taemin was gone. I panicked and shook Kevin like a mad man.

“Kevin!! Kevin you little , where the is my baby?! I thought I told you to watch him!” Kevin snapped out of it.

“Oh Taemin-ah went to the vending machine to get something to drink. Chill mama kitty, he’s right over there…Christ.” I looked up and sighed in slight relief.

Taemin POV:

I arrived at the vending machine and marveled at all the flavors of milk, soda, tea, and coffee beverages. I was happy when I spotted the banana milk and strawberry milk. I was putting my change in when one of my coins fell and rolled a little bit. I bent over to pick it up when a hand beat me to it. Our hands met and I looked to see who it was. It was none other than the handsome froggy boy I met in the cafeteria. I blushed as I stood up. He stood up to and handed me my coin with a small smile.

“Well what do you know….your that kid from earlier?” I started to shiver because I was afraid he would beat me up. He noticed this and gave me a sympathetic smile.

“Hey I’m not like those jocks, I don’t pick on underclass man. About that though, I’d like to apologize for my girlfriend’s behavior. I honestly don’t know when she rounded up a posy like that.” He said with a smile that was y but somehow warm and soft. I just kept my head down and nodded.

“It’s its okay….” I said unable to look at his beautiful face. I quickly turned around, got the drinks and looked back at him giving a shy cute smile.

“U-um b-bye thanks you for helping me…” He laughed a little bit.

“No problem Ill see ya around kiddo” he said, flashed me a smile and left. I felt my knees going to pudding as I stared after him. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and a cough. I turned to see Key giving me a concerned and stern look. He had his hands on his hips.

“Taemin-ah, I thought umma told you to stay with Kevin. What if you had run into the Jocks that beat you up?!” Key said with concern. I smiled and shook my head.

“I’m okay umma really….he didn’t hurt me, he was nice….” I said blushing at the thought of the stranger. Key rolled his eyes having a feeling what was going on.

“Yea well whatever let’s get out of here, we have homework and much to talk about.” I nodded and followed Key in one step, but hiding behind him so that he wouldn’t notice my blushing face. We met up with Kevin who was in his own little world as we exited the school building. As we got out side to the school lot we found Keys car. I pulled Keys sleeve.

“Where do you live Key?” Key smiled.

“You’ll see.” I tilted my head to the side confused. Key laughed and opened the door for us. As Key started the engine I noticed wings starting to come out of the car. I was awestruck as we headed for the sky. The trip home was fun, although we only saw clouds for awhile. Then I noticed something familiar, it was home. I looked out the window and bounced in the seat excited. Key looked through the review mirror and smiled.

“What’s wrong baby, have to use the bathroom?” key said teasingly. I blushed and glared.

“Umma!! No I don’t…its just you just drove over my home...” Key smiled wide.

“You live in Heaven?” I nodded smiling

“Yea I do” I said with a smile. Key was excited.

“Awesome I live in Olympus your neighbors practically.” I was shocked. I had no idea. As we landed, we came to a nice pink house that had a fountain of Aphrodite and a heart shaped swimming pool. I was amazed at Keys house. Kevin wasn’t since he practically lives there. As we got out of the car I started to take in Keys house. He noticed me staring, laughed and pulled me along. We walked in and it was just as beautiful as it was outside. Key then yelled

“Mother I’m home! I brought some friends over!” Keys mother then yelled back.

“Oh Kibum welcome home honey, I’ll bring you some snacks later!” Key smiled.

“Thanks mother!” Key yelled before he brought us to his room. His room was pink and fuzzy. He had a large window, bathroom, and television. I saw the fur on his bed and couldn’t help myself. I ran over and plopped myself down. Kevin protested.

“Hey squirt that’s my spot!” Key nudged his shoulder.

“Just let him have it Kevin…geez” Key laughed. Kevin pouted and sat in front of the bed where I was. Key then sat down as well. Keys mother came in and brought us cookies and different flavors of milk. We thanked her, and started unloading our stuff from school. As we ate cookies, Key suddenly spoke up.

“Okay first things first. Since Taemin is our new friend we will start with the basic protocol!” I looked at Kevin who rolled his eyes as he munched on a cookie.

“First of all what are you Taemin?” Key asked with general curiosity. Kevin chimed in.

“Yea what are you?!” he said his mouth full of cookie, and crumbs flying. Key scowled.

“Yah! Don’t make such a mess….what are we 5….Christ...” I laughed, and then noticed them waiting in anticipation. I cleared my throat and began talking.

“Well I’m an angel of the divine line…”  I said nervously wondering how they would take it. Key and Kevin then smiled.

“Awesome!! I had a feeling you were an Angel, I mean you reek of innocence” Kevin said laughing. Key just swatted his arm.

“Shut up you! Don’t pick on my baby!” Kevin rolled his eyes. I decided to speak up.

“So um what are you umma, and what about you Kevin-shii? Key looked at me beaming.

“I my dear Tae-baby am a God from the line of Aphrodite which is why I live on Olympus. My ancestors all come from Aphrodite goddess of love, beauty and fertility. Well the beauty part I’m sure wasn’t hard to figure out.” Key said full of confidence. Kevin snorted.

“Okay you tone it down, or your head will get bigger than this room and then some.” Key scoffed.

“Rude!” Kevin and I laughed. Then it was Kevin’s turn.

“Okay so I’m a muse. I basically inspire people to do great things, and I can convince a person to do anything which is a little extra bonus. That would explain why those bullies backed off when I told them too.” Kevin explained. I was very impressed with Key and Kevin’s explanations. Then suddenly I asked Key.

“Um umma…” I said shyly. Key turned to me.

“What is it baby?”

“C-can I spread my wings…I’ve been hiding them all day….it gets tiring” Key nodded.

“Of course baby, we aren’t at school anymore go ahead.” I smiled gratefully and spread out my wings, letting them fall over keys bed. Kevin and Key looked at me in aww.

“Wow I’ve never seen an angel this close, can I touch your wings Taemin?” Kevin asked. I nodded.

“Sure…” I said with a smile. Kevin walked over and felt the softness of my wings. I laughed since it kind of tickled. Kevin marveled.

“Soft…” he said. Key clapped his hands.

“Okay that’s enough. So now we know what each other is, now next are today’s events!” Key said eating a cookie. But before Key could continue I chimed up.

“Wait umma what’s your true form? I mean I have wings and my halo appears on command but what about you guys?” Kevin and Key laughed.

“Oh well I have a tattoo on my back that appeared when I turned 16, and when I’m in my real form, bracelets and the official cloths of my family appear despite what I wear.” Key explained. Kevin told me it was same for him, expect it was just a tattoo that appeared, so he didn’t look that much different. Key then continued.

“So today’s day at school was interesting to say the least. Kevin you were drooling at Eli Kim again ya know…” Kevin blushed.

“Shut up key! Have you seen him…..he’s just so….just so….Eli….” Kevin said dreamily. Me and Key started laughing, and then key spoke up again.

“Oh on my way to the information desk, I ran into the jock on the soccer team. Jonghyun was his name….he was totally hitting on me, I mean what the hell! Just because I’m beautiful doesn’t give him a right I mean yea he was y and toned and had eyes to die for but still….come on…..” Key stated frustrated. Me and Kevin started laughing.

“ooooo ummas in love!” I teased. Key glared at me and through a pillow at me.

“Watch your mouth young man. I know what love is, hell its one of my powers that wasn’t love no way in hell!” I laughed again.

“The more you deny it, the more true it becomes you know!” key blushed and glared. I laughed at that, then my smile faded and I started blushing. Key and Kevin noticed.

“What’s wrong baby? What’s on your mind? Tell umma.” I didn’t know if I should, but I knew I could trust them.

“Um well you know that jock I was talking to….” Key raised a brow.

“Oh you mean the one that looks like a frog?” I nodded.

“Yea….um what’s his name….” Kevin and Key looked at me suspiciously. Then Kevin spoke.

“His name is Choi Minho, he is the captain of the soccer team and every girls dream, but don’t get involved squirt. Yuri’s got her claws in him deep. Don’t get yourself into anymore trouble with that wench.” Key nodded in agreement. I sighed kind of disappointed. Key smiled at me sympathetically.

“Its okay baby, there are more fish in the sea….in fact why don’t I see your love reading? It’s one of the powers I have since I’m from the line of Aphrodite. I’m not usually allowed to reveal that information, but I just learned how to kind of do it in my class today.” I smiled and agreed. Key changed into his true form, and walked over to me, and put my hand in his palms. He started to work….but then he started looking scarred and distressed. I got worried.

“Umma what’s going on?” but he didn’t respond. I got scarred and shook him.

“Umma!!!” Key then snapped out of it. His eyes were a golden pink color and he had sweat on him. I looked at him worried.

“Umma…? Are you okay?” Key shook his head and changed from his true for to his human like form. He smiled weakly.

“Y-yes I’m fine Taemin-ah…” Kevin and I weren’t convinced but let it go. We continued to chat about other things and laughed at them. I noticed that it was time for me to head home. Key offered me a ride, but I said I’d rather fly; I need to get the air in my wings I said. They both nodded. I gave key umma a hug and hugged Kevin as well. Before I left Key spoke to me.

“Taemin-ah….just know I’m always here and I will protect you no matter what may happen in the future….” I gazed at Key confused but then nodded.

“Okay umma…” I said, gave Key a smile and flew off.

Key POV:

I waved Taemin off, and felt Kevin’s stare.

“What was that all about…?” I looked at Kevin and laughed.

“What do you mean…?” Kevin shook his head.

“Cut the crap Key, I know you…we have been friends for years. You went all crazy when you did that love reading on Taemin now spill…what’s going on….” I laughed…I should have known I couldn’t hide anything from Kevin.

“ I don’t know what’s going on Kevin….but I saw dark things in his love reading….I can’t put my finger on it right now but I just fear he may be in danger later on and…..I think it might have to do with Minho….I don’t know….I’m scarred for my Taemin Kevin….” I was starting to shake and a tear escaped my eye. Kevin’s eyes softened and pulled me close.

“Don’t worry…we will protect him. You’re the almighty Key after all. We won’t let anything happen to our friend I promise. We will have his back as his friends, I promise you.” Kevin whipped my tears. I nodded and gave a small smile.

“I hope your right Kevin-shii…..I hope your right….”
