At least, you have them in your heart...

It was 4am in the morning when manager drove Kyuhyun home from his concert after party, 

he was a bit tipsy but have yet drunk. Halfway to the dorm, the manager halted the car and 

excused himself to get a coffee from the store to kill his sleepiness. Kyuhyun was half awake 

when the front door was shut open and he was surprised that someone was buckling himself on

 the driver seat and it was not his manager.

"What are you doing here?" His voice was hoarse from singing and drinking too much.

"We need to talk" the man answered shortly and started the engine.

"I am done talking. Gotta take a cab." He reached his bag which was laying on the backseat. 

"Kyu... wait, I am sorry. I am sincerely sorry..."

"For what?" His voice was flat, eyes bored to the man before him.

The man sighed.

"For what I did and I didn't do that might hurt you."

"I already heard this line many times, actually."

"I- Kyuhyun... you know the reason why I couldn't be there yesterday. I just couldn't see you like 

that..."

"Okay, I know. Let say I forgive you... I accept your apologize. Can I go home now? 

I am really tired. Seriously hyung..." throwing his hands to the air.

Siwon stared at him for a bit before drove slowly.

"I am sorry, but..... I need to take you somewhere first."

Kyuhyun muttered his frustration and let out a heavy sigh before slumped his back to the seat.

"We are here." Siwon said waking up the sleeping figure beside him. Kyuhyun squinted his eyes, 

looking around his surrounding, trying to adjust the bright light that coming from the window. 

It was already morning. 

Stretching up his hands and did he realize that he got warm blanket covering him up to his shoulder 

and obviously his seat was not in upright position. It explained the comfortable nap he had.


Unbuckle himself and Kyuhyun, Siwon went out from the car first, running to a small store at the 

corner of the road. Kyuhyun's legs moved on their own to the to the side of the road, 

blue ocean spread out in front of him, sending him a cold breeze that ghosting through his face 

and strands. He touched the cold railing to support his weight; the only thing separating him and 

the ocean. The waves were loud, crushing the stones and the sands below making a harmonic 

sound that reminded Kyuhyun a lot of his song. Wind...

"You must be really tired" Siwon said, handing a cup of warm tea while sipping his.

"It's pretty." Contemplating "I forget that I need a vacation... or two" he sighed.

"Everyone does that sometimes... "

It was probably the view or the weather or the mood or because Kyuhyun simply gave in that made 

Kyuhyun let himself being drawn close to Siwon. Siwon's free hand circled on Kyuhyun's waist, 

close enough for him to plant a peck on Kyuhyun's temple. 

Siwon spoke after a long comfortable silence.
"We should come inside"
Kyuhyun glanced questioningly but let his hand dragged to a place that is look like a chapel just 

across the road.

Siwon was holding Kyuhyun's hand when they were walking up the stairs that covered with leaves. 

He didn't let go even though they already reached the front door of a look like a traditional dwelling 

from the outside. 
From the side of the quiet neighborhood, a middle age lady came forward to their direction, smiling 

brightly as if she was expecting their coming. 

Kyuhyun freed his hand from Siwon's grip, but Siwon was still, unfazed, remotely opened his palm 

to latch their fingers together which earned a glare from Kyuhyun.

"Siwon-gun..." the woman smiled to Siwon. "Kyuhyun-gun.."

Both of them bowed at each other and left Kyuhyun dumbfounded. Okay this is interesting, she even 

knew my name, Kyuhyun said to himself.

Surprisingly, the building which looked like a chapel from the outside saved an interesting and 

peculiar stuffs on the inside, it was more like a historical museum than home. Some of them were 

made back then in 19s.
Kyuhyun hummed in admiration. 
They were walkinh through a long hall with old photos hanging on the wall, then Kyuhyun realized 

that this place was Siwon's grandparents' mansion. 

The mansion was quite ancient designed, yet it didn't lose its charm a bit. Looked like someone was 

diligently taking care of the mansion well.

Kyuhyun turned to look at Siwon who was standing captivated at a particular picture. It was him and 

his granny holding a bucket of purple aster. Siwon said she liked flowers so much. 

When they reached the end of the hall which allowed them to enter a room that looked like a dining 

table, Kyuhyun hardly believed the room they stepped on used to be the dining room for the Choi 

family, there was a large mahogany dining table with 16 chairs in the center, complete with the 

kitchenette. It was more like a King's dining table. Kyuhyun shook head in disbelief. 

To add Kyuhyun's surprise, Kyuhyun was asked to take a sit and was served with foods Kyuhyun 

rarely found in the town unless his granny cooked for them. And Kyuhyun stifled his outburst of all 

the attention he got from the woman and Siwon. Turned out the woman was Siwon's granny caretaker and she was the one who taking care the mansion after she passed away.

After they finished their first meal that morning, the old lady presented a dark brown wooden box, 

crafted with calligraphies on the sides. Siwon opened the box and smiled wistfully, pushing the box 

in front of Kyuhyun. There was a pendant on the inside, a thumb-sized red jade pendant braced by 

a gold horseshoe. Kyuhyun glanced at Siwon and to the lady back and forth, hesitated on his next 

move. 
Kyuhyun muttering something in protest when Siwon detached the pendant from the box and put 

it on Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun too a quick glance to the old lady, strangely she smiled, she nodded as if 

saying it suit him best.

Then she started talking about the long history of the pendant, which Kyuhyun concluded that 

the pendant is a heritage of Siwon's granny who was a princess.

"Okay, what is this supposed to mean?" Kyuhyun stopped in front of the mansion refused to follow 

Siwon to the car. "Why am I still wearing this?"

"It's yours now." Siwon stated firmly.

"No,this is not mine! And for God sake this is your family heritage so don't just give it away to people."

 His voice cracked.

"I don't just give it away, Kyuhyun.... and you are not...people. Look, this pendant belonged to me and 

I gave it to you as a present"

"This doesn't belong to me." He removed it over his head.

Siwon stopped him "It is. It is yours. Please...just..... keep it for me." gently pushed Kyuhyun's hand 

away from taking off the pendant. "I have to keep my promise to Halmonie."

"You should give this pendant to your future wife...not me." He muttered, guilt came across his face. 

"No, Kyuhyun. Halmonie especially wanted me to give this to someone I love." He paused then 

continued "Love Kyuhyun, not my wife.....and I am very certain it is no one else but you."

"But you still have a long way to go to find it out" 

"I did find out. I love you and I am certain there's no way I could love someone else the way I 

love you, ever."

Kyuhyun was tongue tied since they entered the car, dizziness took over his entire body, it felt the way back home taking forever and his mind didn't stop replaying the 

words Siwon said just a few moment ago. 

"Even if in the end we won't be together, I will still love you and this pendant means my heart 

belongs to you, only."

Leeteuk was surprised when he entered the van that would brought him to send Siwon off had 

another quiet attendant. 

"I thought you said you didn't wanna go?"

"I changed my mind" Kyuhyun flashed a toothy grin, despite his swollen eyes and red nose.

"Just don't cry too loud."

when the van came to a halt in front of the training camp, Leeteuk saw a handsome tall figure with a pair of familiar dimples waving towards him. There was ample time for them before the ceremony began.

"I've been there before. You will be just alright." Leeteuk gave Siwon a supportive pat on his shoulder.

"I know hyung. I will come back as a better Siwon. I promise."

"You must. anyway, someone is waiting for you in the car. 10 minutes top though."

without further command, Siwon rushed inside he black-tinted van. hopping in, he was welcomed with a light slap on his right cheek as soon as the door shut closed. it was not too hard though.

"You're bad! so bad! bad person! but I forgave you." he cried out, more like ranting than yelling.

Siwon chuckled at how childish Kyuhyun could be.
Siwon cradled the swollen face gently as if it was made of delicate cotton candy, he must be bawling 

his eyes out all night, judging from the eyebags and the pinkish nose.

Siwon drew Kyuhyun closer till their foreheads met, eyes glistening 
"I am sorry..." Siwon muttered again. "I will make up to you when I come back."

"You're talking as if I will be waiting for you."

Siwon chuckled, Kyuhyun's pouting is always the cutest and tempting, so he claimed the rosy lips.

When Siwon pulled Kyuhyun to his chest, wetting his t-shirt with the younger's tears, Kyuhyun  

muttered "You will always have mine too."
