I put on a little bit of makeup, straightened my long hair and popped in my contacts. I happily put on the outfit Gongchan bought for me yesterday. I felt something in the pockets and took it out; it was a grape-flavoured lollipop. I smiled and was about to open it and eat when my phone received a text. I checked my phone and L had just sent me a message to meet him at the mall. I quickly stuffed the unopened lollipop back into my pocket and ran out of the house.

GONGCHAN’S BEDROOM

Gongchan’s Bedroom

Gongchan’s POV

I sighed as I laid on my bed staring up at the ceiling while eating a grape-flavoured lollipop. I didn’t sleep a wink last night because I was thinking about L and ~~~’s date.

I wonder if they’ll get together…well I guess I’ll be happy for ~~~ if they do. He is her dream guy after all. The image of L and ~~~ popped in my head. They were happily holding hands and feeding each other food. I rolled over and put my face in my pillow while letting out a big sigh.

She must be having a great time at the date right now…*sigh. Then suddenly an image of L trying to kiss ~~~ popped up in my head. I quickly sat straight up…what if L tries to take advantage of her?!?! I quickly run and get ready to go out.

MALL

“God move over!” said a voice.

“It’s already really squishy here!” said another.

“BOTH OF YOU SHUTUP!” said a loud voice.

“Sorry Hyunah,” they whispered.

“Gosh. Text that Gongchan and tell him to come here right now Sohyun,” Hyunah said.

Come here Gongchan oppa! We’re waiting for you at the mall!

Gongchan POV
OMG stupid queenkas…well I guess this isn’t bad in a way…at least it doesn’t seem like I’m being a jealous friend and stalking ~~~ and her date with L. Remember Gongchan, you’re only here to keep ~~~ safe…not to ruin their date. Wait no…what am I saying. ~~~ will be so upset at me…I better just leave, I don’t want to see the two of them together anyway. But before I could the queenka leader Hyunah waved at me.

MALL

Gongchan & Hyunah Outfits

“GONGCHAN! Over here!” Hyunah shouted.

“What do you want?” I said coldly when I made my way to Hyunah.

“Okay well believe it or not, I want L,” Hyunah responded. “I heard you’re rich and you’re not that bad looking. Once he sees I’m dating someone like you he’ll give up that stupid little friend of yours and come to me! Besides, you like your friend don’t you?” Hyunah asked the last question with a raise of an eyebrow.

I gulped as she asked the last question, if it was really that obvious then why couldn’t ~~~ see it? Maybe she knows and just doesn’t feel the same way about me. “I don’t have time right now. This is dumb. I’m leaving,” Gongchan said. The last thing I wanted to see now was how happy ~~~ was with L. I turned to leave.

“STOP RIGHT THERE! If you don’t help me…I’ll keep bullying ~~~. You know how she broke her glasses the other day. That was me.” Hyunah said proudly.

I felt my hands turn into fists and punched the wall behind Hyunah. “Don’t you dare hurt her again,” I said in a low voice. The anger in my eyes made even Hyunah scared.

“I w-won’t…if you promise me that you’ll help me,” she said.

“Fine.” I grumbled.  

MEANWHILE

You & L Outfits

Your POV

I saw L from the mall entrance and walked up to him.

“Hi,” I said shyly.

“Hey! Wow…you look…beautiful,” L said while looking at me.

“T-thanks,” I responded shyly.

“U-umm…what do you want to do first? Do you want to shop?” L said.

“Sure,” I responded. While walking side by side, it was slightly awkward. There wasn’t much to say. Suddenly L stopped.

 “U-um! Can I hold your hand?” he asked.

“S-sure,” I said with a small smile. He held my hand but for some reason you didn’t get the same tingly feeling that I got when Gongchan held my hand.

“Wait what are you thinking ~~~?” I asked myself. “This is what you want…you wanted L to notice you so bad before!”

We both shopped around for a bit but nothing caught my eye. “You look like you’re getting tired…would you like to eat something?” L suggested.

“U-umm yes thanks for asking,” I responded.

FOOD COURT

We both went to the food court…where I saw something unexpected…Gongchan eating with Hyunah!

“OMG! They’re here!” said Hyunah. “OH HONEY! WHY ARE YOU SO SHY! Here eat this!” Hyunah said while looking at L and stuffing food into Gongchan’s direction.

“No thanks. Eat it yourself,” Gongchan said.

“OMO! Look who it is! It’s L and ~~~!” Hyunah walked over to your side. “Hi! Let’s eat together!” she suggested.

“No thanks…” I responded while giving Gongchan a sad look. The reason I didn’t want to eat with them was because I didn’t want to ruin THEIR date.

Gongchan POV

They’re holding hands…*sigh. I couldn’t even look at her. She doesn’t want to even eat with us? Wow…we must be really ruining their date. I got up and decided to drag Hyunah away, I didn’t want to stay here.

Your POV

“Hyunah let’s leave,” Gongchan got up and dragged her away while she was looking at L with puppy eyes.

“Well fine, why don’t we make this a double date?” L suggested.

“YAY! I mean Gongchan honey will be happy since he’s close with ~~~” Hyunah covered up. Gongchan and ~~~ stared at each other with blank expressions until Gongchan looked away.

I could feel my heart hurting the way Gongchan acted toward me right now. Is it because he kept it a secret that he was dating Hyunah? When did they even start dating? I was pressing back the tears...

“Let’s go over to that Japanese restaurant over there, I heard it’s not bad,” L suggested while pulling at my arm.

“Sure!” I forced out a smile while walking over there with L. Hyunah and Gongchan following behind while Hyunah linked arms with Gongchan.

RESTAURANT

Japanese Restaurant

The waiter led all of us to a booth in the back. I sat beside L and across from Gongchan. Everyone ordered some food and began eating.

“Open your mouth,” L said cutely while feeding me a piece of sushi in it.

“Ahhh,” I said while giving him a cute eye smile.

“Wait,” Gongchan said, surprising everyone.

“Is something wrong?” L asked.

“You put a lot of wasabi on that piece, ~~~ can’t take it that spicy,” Gongchan replied.

“Oh, haha sorry about that ~~~, I didn’t know,” L said sheepishly.

“Don’t worry about it,” I said while smiling. L fed me another piece while I kept looking straight at Gongchan. He just looked at his food and avoided eye contact with me.

Hyunah POV

Well well well…how cute. Not only does Gongchan like ~~~ but it seems like she likes him too. Change of plans then I guess, let’s test ~~~ keke, this is more fun than I thought it would be.  

“Gongchannie! Here! Have a piece of my chicken!” Hyunah said and stuffed a piece of chicken into Gongchan’s mouth. ~~~ looked shocked while Hyunah smiled sweetly at Gongchan.

“Is something wrong? You don’t look so well.” Hyunah asked ~~~ fakely. Hyunah looked at ~~~  while her face flushed bright red.

“U-umm no, I’m just going to use the washroom,” ~~~ said while quickly leaving her seat. Hyunah smirked and continued to eat her own dish.

I splashed my face with water while I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Why was I feeling this way? Why did I feel so hurt even when I was with the boy of my dreams? *sigh Suddenly my reflection in the mirror turned into Gongchan’s smiling face. I was shocked and took a step back. I turned around but Gongchan wasn’t there. AHHHH! What’s wrong with me! Suddenly I heard someone coming into the washroom and ran into a stall to hide myself.
