SCHOOL – WASHROOM

Once in the washroom I walked over to the mirror to check the bump on my forehead. But before I could, I heard the queenkas coming in so I ran into a stall before they could see me. It was always easy to tell when they were coming, with their high heels clicking the floor and high-pitched fake laughter filling up the whole hallway; not to mention you could smell their perfume from a mile away. Even though the kingka's at our school were relatively nice (especially L) the queenkas were a little...you know...snobby. Most of the time they came into the washroom to use the mirror, so me being there would've just brought me trouble.

"OMG! Did you see how hot L was in the cafeteria today!" Gayoon squealed.

"OMG! Do you even have to mention that! Everyone knows how hot he is! I wish I could've followed behind him! Even staring at his back is enough!" Jihyun gushed.

 *BAM* * BAM* "OWWWWW!” Gayoon and Jihyun yelled in unison. Their queenka leader Hyunah had just hit them on their heads with the powder brush she was fixing her makeup with.

"Follow L like fangirls? Then who's going to follow me? Besides, I told you already. L is mine; you girls should really stop fangirling over him already. It's not healthy to be daydreaming over someone who can never be yours. That would just make you both equal to all the other pathetic girls in the school who wants to claim him," she ended the sentence with a smirk.

In the washroom stall I nodded along with a small frown on my face. Even though her words were harsh, they were right.

"Anyways, change the topic." Hyunah ordered.

"Oh oh oh! You know that hot boy in my class named Gongchan! Today he got hit on the forehead by that nerd girl! Makes me so mad! How can someone like her hang with him anyways. She brings him down so much!" Sohyun said with anger.

"Yah, he's really good looking and I heard he's from a rich family too; if only he stopped hanging out with people like her. I wonder why they hang out anyways." Jiyoon stated.

I gulped at the thought that I was the topic of their gossip right now. I knew Gongchan was popular and good-looking, but to think even the queenkas noticed him was another story.

"Hmmm, Gongchan eh? Sounds promising. Someone like him might be useful." Hyunah thought to herself. "Okay girls, let's go." Hyunah said as she put her makeup back in her bag.

"Yes Hyunah!" The rest of the girls chorused and giggled.

I waited a bit to make sure they left for good. Slowly sneaking out of the washroom stall I went to the mirror to check my forehead. It was turning red but at least the bump wasn't too noticeable. I decided put some cold water on it. When I checked my pockets for a handkerchief to dry my hands with I found something else instead. Inside my pocket was a grape-flavoured lollipop. I smiled to myself, knowing Gongchan put it there; although I never knew why he did that. It was something he did everyday. He'd give me a grape-flavoured lollipop secretly; whether it be in my pocket, on my chair, in my locker, etc. Today he probably put it in my pocket when he put his arm over my shoulder. It always made me remember the first time I met Gongchan…
