Balcony Setting

I smiled as we finished talking about our sweet love story.

By now we were outside on our balcony sitting on our comfy loveseat. Gongchan sat behind me as I leaned on him, his arms draped around my shoulders.

“*sigh It took us so long to get together because you didn’t catch the tips I left you, they were so obvious and silly you still didn’t notice!” Gongchan laughed while poking my cheek.

“Well I can’t help it if I’m that innocent! Anyways, it’s your fault for not giving me an actual confession!” I turned away from Gongchan and crossed my arms, pretending to be mad.

“Awww, don’t be mad! I’ll confess a million times to you each and everyday from now on! I promise!” he said while tugging at my arm.

I secretly smiled but still didn’t look at him.

“Aww are you still mad? I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!!!” he shouted out loud.

I started laughing.

“Yay! You’re laughing! That means you’re not mad anymore right?” Gongchan went in front of me, bending down until we were face to face and made a heart shape with his hands while pouting.

“I could never be mad at you,” I smiled and leaned forward to kiss his cheek.

He smiled and pulled me into a hug.

From the corner of my eye I saw something flash in the sky.

“Gongchan!” I said as I tapped him on the shoulder. “Turn around! It’s a shooting star!” I shouted.

We quickly stood up and watched the shooting stars in the night sky.

“Quick, make a wish!” he said. We closed our eyes and clasped our hands together.

“What did you wish for?” I asked him.

“The same thing I wished for last time we saw one,” he said.

“Really?! Me too!” I said.

“I wished that you would give me grape-flavoured lollipops forever, because it reminds me of the day we first met,” I said shyly. “You’ll never stop giving them to me right?” I asked him.

“Nope, I’ll never stop…because I wished for you to let me give them to you forever, because the day I started giving them to you was when I knew you were going to be the only girl for me,” he responded with a smile.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

“Aww, don’t cry,” he laughed wiping my tears with his thumb.

I jumped up and hugged him, making him stumble back a little. 

After what felt like eternity, Gongchan whispered something into my ear.

“~~~…” he started.

“Hmmm?” I responded.

“I love you~” he whispered.

He looked into my eyes and leaned down for a kiss.

I stared at him with a blank expression.

“Gongchan…” I whispered. He looked at me nervously. 

“I love you too,” I laughed.

He tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and leaned down for another kiss.
