MEDICINE

Jongin woke up in the middle of the night and got up to use the bathroom. He got up and walked to the door before falling down, which caused Kyungsoo to wake up. He rubbed his ways and the lights and his eyes widened as he saw the event in front of him. Jongin was trying to get back up when Kyungsoo ran over to him and picked up him.

“Oh my gosh, are you alright? What happened?”

“I need to use the bathroom… and I just fell over.”

“You could’ve woken me up! Come on let’s go.” Kyungsoo escorted Jongin to the bathroom and he did what he needed to do. Jongin washed his hands and exited the bathroom.

“All done?” Jongin nodded and they walked back to the bedroom.

“Sorry about all that…”

“No, don’t worry! Go back to sleep.” Kyungsoo was about to sleep when he looked at the time. It read 2:10 AM. “Wait!” Jongin opened his heavy eyes.

“Happy Birthday, babe.” Kyungsoo smiled and Jongin did too. He closed his eyes.

“Thank you, baby.” Jongin grabbed Kyungsoo and pulled him close to his body. Kyungsoo touched Jongin’s forehead and noticed it was much cooler than before. He felt relieved and closed his eyes again.

Jongin woke up again, but this time, the sun was shining on his face. He looked around and felt a lot better. He sat up and woke up Kyungsoo.

“Kyungsoo! School, we got to get to school!” Kyungsoo’s eyes shot open.

“ARE WE LATE?!”

“No.” Jongin smiled and pointed to the clock.

“Wow, it’s 5AM… We woke up pretty early.”

“We did sleep pretty early.”

“Yeah… 8PM…” Kyungsoo chuckled and got up to get ready.

“You want to get ready first Birthday boy?” Jongin shook his head.

“You can go first Beautiful.” Kyungsoo’s face felt hot and he went to go take a shower. Jongin sat down on the bed and watched the TV that was never turned since last night. There was some news on, but nothing really special. Kyungsoo came back and was drying his hair with his towel while watching TV with Jongin.

“You going to go get ready?”

“Heh, sure. My breath probably would knock you out.” He breathed in Kyungsoo’s face and Kyungsoo backed away.

“Ew!!!!” Jongin made his way to the door before Kyungsoo stopped him. “Oh yeah, Jongin, I’ll give you your gift after school!”

“You didn’t have to get me-”

“You know if I didn’t give you a gift, you’d be upset.”

“Uh….” Jongin smiled and walked out to get ready.

As Jongin and Kyungsoo walked throughout the halls of the school, many people were wishing Jongin a happy birthday.

“Wow, you’re quite popular.”

“I didn’t think so many people knew.”

“It’s common for hot people I guess.”

“What’re-”

“Happy Birthday Jongin!” Baekhyun shouted from the third floor. He ran down the stairs and gave Jongin a gift.

“Wow, you got a gift from Baekhyun!”

“Hey, I gave you a gift too!”

“No you didn’t… come to think of it, the only one who did was Jongin…”

“OH MY GOSH! I have the gift at home and I have Chanyeol’s and Jessica’s too! I guess we were caught up in the whole reunion thing. Sorry, I’ll give them to you after school! I’ll run back and get them!”

“Don’t worry! I’ll pick them up at your house!” Jongin put the gift in his bag and thanked Baekhyun.

“Thanks Baekhyun, can’t wait to open it!”

“No problem, and Kyungsoo!” Kyungsoo jumped up.

“What?”

“You’re so selfish!” Kyungsoo squinted his face.

“Mom told you didn’t she…?”

“Yes she did, AISH so selfish!”

“Don’t worry! I volunteered!” Jongin tried getting Kyungsoo out of this trouble.

“Jongin, don’t try helping your boyfriend out, he deserves this yelling! You’re sick because of him!”

“No, I’m feeling better!” Jongin coughed.

“Liar. Way to go Kyungsoo!” Baekhyun stuck out his tongue and walked away.

“But I…”

“Don’t worry, he’s just joking right?”

“Yeah… Anyways, get to class and just focus, okay? If you need anything, just text me!”

“Okie dokie!” Jongin walked away and Kyungsoo walked to his class.

Jongin smiled at the message and put his phone away.

As she walked up the stairs, Tiffany let out a sigh.

I’m seriously a terrible person for doing this… I should stop this now. I shouldn’t even attempt this.

Jongin opened up his locker and needed to take his medicine. He opened up the box and took the medicine and the amount of doses that was required.

“Here goes that ugly taste…” Jongin took a sip of the medicine and it tasted different somehow.

“That’s funny… Why is it sweet?” Jongin finished the sips before walking back to go downstairs for rehearsal. He suddenly stopped at the stairs when he started feeling weird.

What’s going on…?

He stumbled backwards and tried figuring out what was wrong. He took out his phone and tried texting Kyungsoo. He couldn’t see the phone at all, so he used the voice command.

Calling Kyunggie <3

“Yes baby?”

“Kyung… please… come to… my locker… now…”

“What’s going on?”

“I… don’t… know…”

Kyungsoo hung up and got up.

“Soo, where are you going?”

“There’s something wrong with Jongin!”

“Let me come with you.”

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo ran through the school making their way to Jongin’s locker.

Tiffany carefully made her way up to Jongin.

“Hey Jongin, are you feeling alright?” Jongin was in a daze and didn’t reply at all. He barely kept his eyes open and couldn’t figure out who was in front of him.

“Jongin…” Tiffany grabbed Jongin’s waist and Jongin had no idea what was going on. It felt like he lost complete consciousness, but was still standing up. Tiffany leaned in so her lips could make contact with Jongin’s.
