The two of them were walking by the shore after their date. Both of them were carrying their shoes that almost got soaked in the water. It was already midnight and Saerin couldn’t believe she lost track of time.

                “I gotta admit… this is fun.” She said turning her head on him. She saw his face break into a smile. She couldn’t help but smile back.

                “Mmm, I don’t know, you practically ate most of my meal.”

                “Hey, it wasn’t fair. You did not tell me their salad tastes like sand!” She nudged him and they both chuckled.

                Saerin kept on giggling until she saw something bright the night sky. It was one of those nights again, she thought. She chased the star like she can actually catch it and when she came to a stop, she closed her eyes and made a wish.

                Kai ran after her when she chased after the star. He looked up at the raven sky and then back at her. The beach was quiet for a moment. Saerin still had her eyes closed. Kai thought he was a fool when he finally had his wish but then he let it go. He looked at her with his heart on the line and hugged her from her back. He closed his eyes as well and whispers his wish to her ear.

                “I wish to have you in my life forever.”

                She closed her eyes and prayed that her decision to give him another chance would make everything right again. That they would understand each other better now that they’ve grown up. That it would give her a peace of mind after her son’s death that maybe Kai was the only one she needed.

                She was in deep thoughts when she felt his arms wrap around her waist. She gasped when she heard him whisper his wish in her ear. It sure did send her shivers on her back.

                She turned around to face him when she decided to tell him the truth about Sami. Would he be mad about it? Would he blame her?

                “Jongin-shi… I need to tell you something…”

                She saw him sigh and he held her hand.

                “What is it?”

                This is it, Kai thought. Would she confess now about Sami?

                “I---“

                RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRINNNG,

                Saerin was suddenly interrupted by her own phone when she finally made up her mind to tell Kai about Sami.

                “Um…”

                “It’s okay; it’s probably your Uncle.” Kai said referring to her phone which was now noisier than ever.

                And he was right.

                Kai gave her a bit of privacy to talk to her uncle and when she came back, she had that worried look on her face again. He bit his lip as he fight the urge to kiss her.

                “So… apparently, this is our last day here.” She sighs. “Uncle says he’ll have his people pick us up tomorrow morning. I guess we’ll be attending the gala then.”

                Kai nodded his head and run a hand on his hair. He’ll have to wait for an opportunity for her to spill the beans again. He wonders how soon it would be.

                “It’s getting cold. We should probably get back inside.” He said, guiding her by her arm.

                Saerin was now standing in front of her room while Kai was still beside her. It felt like he was a suitor by the way he was treating her, and it kind of felt nice to know that he still acts like a gentleman around her. She knows he can be obnoxious sometimes, but the great thing about him is that he respects girls. And then she couldn’t help but be naughty about it.

                She turned to face him so that she’ll witness his reaction to what she was about to do. She leaned her back on the wall and crossed her arms to expose a bit of her cleavage.

                “I was just wondering…” She pondered as she saw him glanced at her chest. Then he raised an eyebrow and looked at her.

                “Just how many woman have you ever slept with after me. It couldn’t be just a few right? I mean, knowing you…you probably had at least 30? Or 45?”

                She saw him smirk and he bit his lip. She hates it when he does that. It felt like he was teasing her to bite his lips too.

                “Oh come on Kai, how many???”

                She kept on nagging him when he strode forward and rested his hand on the wall leaving her with no escape.

                “I’ll tell you a little secret… well… it’s more of a confession actually.”

                Saerin suddenly couldn’t think of anything. His minty breath fanning her face makes her want to eat his handsome face. Everything about him is delicious.

                “Believe it or not…” Kai sighed stared at her lips. “I’ve tried so hard to get myself to lust for another girl. So you really can’t imagine how difficult it is for me living under the same roof as you. Now you know why I get so easily. And I’m not even sorry for that.”

                “That doesn’t answer my question” Saerin persists and she heard him tsked.

                “There’s none Saerin. It’s only been you.”

Oh God. Please stop me from doing anything I’d regret.

                “You should sleep now Siren, I’ll see you to-“

                Then she pulled his shirt and kissed him full on the lips. She couldn’t help it anymore; she loves this guy so much and she’ll probably keep it that way no matter how many times he screwed up. She opened so he can deepen the kiss. She curled her arms around his neck and pressed her body closer to his while his hands get tighter around her waist. They were kissing as if they were thirsty of each other.  She was nibbling his lower lip when he suddenly pulled away.

                “Jagi…” He breathed, “Are you sure about this?”

                She smiled. “You worry a lot. I’ve always been sure with you Jongin-ah.”

                And that’s what he needed to hear.

                He was moving on top of her when Saerin gasps for air.

                “Uhh… Oppa…Wait…” She breathed enduring the pain on her lower region.

                Kai ignored her and continued ing in her.

She looked at him and saw his pleasured face grunting in. She suddenly felt ecstatic and proud that this amazing person is making love to her at the moment. Saerin is no different from him. Though she’d dated a few man in the past, she promised herself she’d never let them get to her in the physical way. With Kai, everything she’s got a hold of crumbles without thinking.

                “Oh my god, you’re killing me” She panted. She doesn’t have to open her eyes to see him smirk.

                “Open your eyes Saerin… I want you to look at me when I make love to you”

                She did as she told and met his eyes which are full of desire.

                “I love you Siren…”

                “I love you too”

Kai woke up with his left shoulder feeling numb. He turned his face towards her and found a sleeping siren on his arms. He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ears. He thought she’d never looked any more beautiful than she is right now. He couldn’t stand himself and he planted a soft kiss to her forehead, down to her nose and finally her lips. The kiss was gentle at first, but Kai was feeling naughty and he opened to taste more of her. When Saerin couldn’t breathe normal anymore, she finally woke up.

“Good Morning” Kai smiled and his kisses went down on her neck and shoulders.

“Where are you getting your strength? Aren’t you exhausted enough?” She sighed and pushed his chest slightly. Kai was like a beast last night. She thought he’d eventually get tired but she has to convince him to really stop because she still has to sleep.

“ You couldn’t blame me, for almost 5 years I’m deprived and I can say the same for you, jagi.”

Saerin blushed and looked the other way. She pulled the covers tight on her chest and bit her lip.

“What? No slapping and snapping at me Ms. Jo? Wow, we should do this more often.”

She closed her eyes in frustration and opened it to see his teasing smile. She pulled her pillow and threw it on his face.

“You’re such a Kkamjong.”

Kai laughed. Saerin smiled and was about to get off the bed when he caught her waist and pulled her across his chest.

“Come on, let’s just stay here for a bit..’’

She let him hug her for a while and thought about what will happen to them once they were out on the public. She looked up at him as she played with the soft little hairs on his chest.

“Jongina-ah… what’ll happen now?” She furrowed her eyebrows.

He knew exactly what she meant. He looked back at her and swift the lines on her forehead.

“This time, we’re making it right. I couldn’t lose you again Saerin. I’d do anything for us. I promise.”

She felt him kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes to get some more sleep.

Later that day, Saerin was making lunch while Kai was taking a shower. Her Uncle’s people would probably be there soon enough. She was deep frying the chicken when she reminded herself of something.

                She hasn’t told him about Sami yet.

                Even though Kai did left her back then, he deserves to know about their child. She was thinking of ways to tell him when he came down from the shower and surprised her with a back hug.

                “Hmmm, I love you Sweetheart.” He said lifting her a little. “I love it when I see you on my shirt.”

                “Because I look y?” She said rolling her eyes.

                “Yeah. That and it makes me feel that I own you.” He pulled her tighter and kissed her earlobe.

                She swallowed a lump when she felt his hands under his big shirt. She turned off the stove as she savored his kisses. She almost forgot what she was about to tell him.

                “Jongin-ah…” She breathed. His kisses getting rough.

                “Yeah?”

                “We need to talk.” She managed to say. She caught his hands and stopped it. “Please..”

                She turned around and faced him and almost got distracted by his beautiful tanned body. He pressed his forehead on hers and gave her a peck on the lips.

                “What is it?”

                She sighed and pulled him towards the couch.

                She felt his hands get tighter around hers as if comforting her.

                “When we met in New York, that time you decided you’ll forget about me…” She remembers trying to blink back the tears. “I wasn’t exactly honest. I was a complete coward and I’m sorry that I’ve kept it from you for so long.” She looked at him deep in his eyes. She couldn’t contain the tears anymore. She hadn’t talked about Sami. And she didn’t imagine back then that she’ll be bringing this up to him.

                “Jongin-ah… we had a child.” She held his hands firmly like her strength depends on it. She shook her head as she felt his other hand caressed her face wiping her tears away.

                “And I’ve lost him.”

                “Shhh…it’s okay.” He embraced her and kissed her head. Kai didn’t know what hurts most. The fact that the past couldn’t be undone, or hearing the truth from her own mouth.

                “I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect him. I’m so sorry Jongin-ah” She hugged him back letting out all of that worry and frustrations she had kept through in all those years. She felt him pull away. He looked at her and wiped her tears away.

                “What are you saying? You don’t have to apologize to me. I was the one at fault.” He took both of her hands and kissed it.

                “If I’d only been honest that night… If I’d only given up my damn pride you wouldn’t had that accident and you wouldn’t get yourself sick.” He saw her looked at him with curiosity.

                “Listen Saerin… I wouldn’t blame you if you’ve chosen to keep my son from me. I was a jerk because I made you think that I would choose my career over you. If there should be someone who’s apologizing right now, it’s me.”

                “You…you knew?”

                He looked away.

                “At first I didn’t want to believe it. I heard you talking in your sleep that night you got drunk in London. I made Lalice talk but she told me she was as clueless as me. Kyungsoo told me the rest.”

                “I don’t understand…why didn’t you tell me?”

                “I don’t want you to feel…indifferent towards me. We were good when we met at the awards night and I made it worst when I’ve told you that I love you in London. It would only make things even worst when I’ve told you I already knew. Luhan Hyung made me realize that because when I learned that we had a child, I did not think twice about confronting you. But he made me realize that it would be better if you’d learn my true intentions first. I don’t want to be with you just because I was responsible for what happened. I want to be with you because I regretted losing you when I could’ve prevented it. I want to be with you for the rest of my life because I love you. And I would gladly pay for my sins for as long as you want if it means I could have forever with you. Can you see my point?”

                She couldn’t believe what he just said. She just stared at him like he’s the only man there is.

                “Did I make you understand? Please say something” He pleaded.

                “Idiot Kkamjong.” Her face breaks into a smile as her tears keep streaming down her face. “Come here you…”

                She held his face and gave him a sweet kiss. It wasn’t long when the kiss turned into something more passionate. They were about to go at it when the doorbell rang and they heard a clicking sound at the door. The person must have their own key. Both of them were about to make a run for it when the door opened and Kai’s towel fell down the floor. Kai hid behind her as the person revealed himself.

                “Nice. I knew this plan would work.”

                It was Chanyeol.

                “You’re the YG people?” Saerin said.

                “Yes and thank you for that.”

                “Plan? What plan?” Kai said. “Oh No… no way, did you post those pictures?”

                “Hey don’t get there, I was only an accomplice.”

                “Only an accomplice! To whom?”

                “Calm down, sheesh. So, Sorry for disturbing your y time but we have to go. Time’s ticking. I’ll give you guys time to…er dress. If you won’t come out in 10 minutes, I’ll send the reinforcements. Got it?”

                Both of them nodded like students from a terror teacher.

                Saerin looked at him and clicked her tongue.

                “I have a feeling one of your friends did it. No one has those pictures but your friends. And not to mention, we have my Uncle to worry about.”

                “Trust me Siren, we don’t have to care about him or Exo. Just follow my lead.” He winks.
