Living The Trainee Dream

Princess 7

I arrived at rehearsal around 5:30 am. I decided to do some stretches and quickly practiced some of the new moves. The other girls started filing in around 5:50. They stretched and joined me. Our manager came in at 6:05, smiling at our eagerness. She was carrying 7 gatorades, one for each of us. I counted down the last few dance steps and paused in the center, breathing heavily.

We are Princess 7. Our members are AeCha, our group leader/mommy, HaNeul, our constant dreamer and tomboy, EunHee, the sweetie pie of the group, JaeHwa, the total beauty/narcissist, MiSook, Ms. Honesty/Sarcasm, ChoonHe, the peacemaker, and me, the maknae, Fallon in my personal life and DaeSa in my famous life. It translates to metabolism, which applies to my inconsistency.

The other girls are form Seoul or a city nearby, so the company decided to chane my name to give me more of a Korean feel.

"Wonderful job, girls! The dance routines are coming together nicely." Our manager cooed before turning to me. "DaeSa, LSM needs to see you."

"Oh did he say why?" I asked. She shook her head. This couldn't be good. I bowed and left the studio, heading towards the elevator. I jumped inside, just before the doors closed. I heaved a sigh of relief and looked at the other occupant in the elevator. I quickly looked away.

"Annyeonghaseyo." He said, extending his hand to me. I stared at it unsure whether I should or shouldn't take it. I eventually took it and my heart fluttered.

"Annyeonghaseyo, DongHae-sshi." He smiled. The doors pinged open and he got out. He turned and winked at me, causing my cheeks to blush.

"Call me oppa." And the doors shut, leaving only a breathless me to ride to the top floor.

Turns out I wasn't in trouble, but I nearly died when Lee SooMan mentioned Super Junior. They'd be MCing the Music Bank show that Princess 7 would be debuting at and they requested that I practice a solo dance, especially for the show. I could even work with Super Junior.

I took the elevator to the 11th floor to the Super Junior dance studio. They were practicing Sorry Sorry. I quietly stood by the door, fascinated by their slick moves. I accidentally goot too into it and started dacing along with them when the chorus came around. I didn't realize I had stepped to the center of the dance floor until the music stopped and applause broke out.

"Oh my gosh. I am so sorry for disrupting your practice. I just got too into it." I said, bowing multiple times.

"Ahniyo, dongsaeng! You were amazing." EunHyuk said, smiling. "You're DaeSa, right?"

"DaeSa? Her name's Fallon." I head from behind me. I turned to see SiWon looking at me funny. "You didn't lie, right?"

"Of course not, SiWon-sshi. DaeSa's my stage name while Fallon is my actual name. I would never lie to you. I smiled and he returned it, relieved that his judgements of me were still honest.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Leeteuk announced. "How do you know her?"

"Remember when I went to the amusement park last night?" Some nodded  while other shok their heads. "Well, I needed someone to ride with, so I ran into her and we hung out together."

"Did you guys kiss?" KangIn said, winking at SiWon.

"No no no. Lee SooMan strictly prohibits us trainees from doing anything like that since it could reflect badly on the company." I said.

"Wow. No wonder your name's DaeSa. You just went from cocky dancer to apologetic dongsaeng to respectful goody two shoes."

"Yeah, I get that a lot."

"Alright! Let's get started with this dance routine. DaeSa, was there anyone you wanted to work with in particular?" LeeTeuk said, enthusiastically.

"It would definitely have to be the four best dancers, EunHyuk, ShinDong, HanGeng, and DongHae, but I need two more people since I'm used to making dace routines for 7 people."

"I'll do it!" SiWon nearly yelled. Everyone gave him a WTF? face. He blushed. "Mianhaeyo..."

I giggled at his eagerness and chose Sung Min as the 7th dancer. We chose the song Don't Phunk With My Heart by the Black Eyed Peas. The dance routine was centered around all the boys trying to win my heart. In the end, I choose none of them and hog the spotlight while they sit, depressed in the background.

The training didn't let up until around 12pm. I was starving, sweaty, and tired. I threw up the V for Victory sign as I posed for the final move of the dance. We were pretty much done with the routine. We just needed to sharped and polish it up for debut night.

"Wonderful job, guys! We can pick this up after lunch, yeah?" Everyone nodded, too out of breath to say anything. I grabbed a bottle of water from the vending machin and headed down to the 7th floor to see how the girls were doing. They had gone over to the recording studio to go over some new lyrics. My manager called and told me that I could just pickup the lyrics tomorrow since I worked so hard today.

I sighed as I picked up my duffel bad and headed back towards the elevators. I pushed the familiar button down. The doors pinged and I laid my eyes on the cutest little boy of life. He held the doors open for me.

"Kamsahamnida." I said, once the doors shut again.

"No problem, noona."

"My name's DaeSa. What's yours?" I said this informally. I didn't think there was anyone younger than me at SM Ent, but you never know.

"Mine's TaeMin."

"Like TaeMin from SHINee?!" I said, formally. He nodded. "Then I'm actually your dongsaeng by at least 5 months!"

"No way, but you're so tall. Can I please call you noona? Dongsaeng makes you pretty, but noona makes you beautiful."

"Wow. You're so sweet! You can call me noona if I can call you oppa. Maybe we can confuse people as to who is older."

"Yay! Noona is so smart!" We smiled and the elevator opened. We walked out together.

"DaeSa-sshi! Come eat lunch with us!" It was EunHyuk and the rest of Super Junior.

"Okay!!!" I turned back to TaeMin. "Noona has to go, but work hard and stay healthy, kay, oppa?"

"Okay noona." He smiled and we hugged. He skipped off as I caught up with my seonbaes. Who knew being a trainee would be so much fun?

Fallon's leaving? *gasps in shock* oh no... Super Junior & DBSK won't be happy with this news. As one of the sunbaenims in SM Ent., I think Super Junior & DBSK have the right to advise SNSD & stop Fallon from leaving. It's sad to see her leave.

Yeah, that too. I've never personally liked her. She was also in a scandal with DongHae or someone else from SuJu. A lot of people say she's really pretty, but I think she's just average. :/

It was weird when he did the smexy dance for Yoona on Family Outing. I don't know why, but he just seemed embarrassed to me, whenever he does a show with her.

@Mayvin Lmao. ^u^ I think so too. And yeah, I've never liked the TaecYoon pairing. He didn't act like he liked her too much on Family Outing.
