Behind the Figure

Sujeong went back to her dorm to take some rest. She can’t really take the burden of knowing that she might get killed horribly and she didn’t even did something wrong. She wanted to leave this place immediately. No she wants to leave now. This is a killing school not some normal high school.She grab her phone and dialled his father’s number.

“...... ....... “ The phone is trying to connect the call.

“ Come on.... please please... “ Sujeong begged to God.

“ Hello- “ Someone said on the other line.

“ HELP ME DAD HELP PLEASE. “ Sujeong shouted to the phone.

“ Help....? Is there any way I can help you Miss Sujeong? “ The other line said.

“ You.... You’re not Dad. Where’s my dad?! I want my dad! “ Sujeong demand.

“ Since you’re new here, why don’t you gather some information about the school from you’re roommate? “ The other line hangs up the phone call. Sujeong is trying to process everything that is the principal saying. Her mind was in a deep thought.

“ I’m back. “ Haneul said and close the door. Haneul noticed that Sujeong is not moving. She’s just there, like a statue. Haneul walks closer to Sujeong.

“ Sujeong, Are you alright? “ Haneul shook Sujeong’s body to make her snap back in reality.

“ Haneul.... Tell me, What kind of school is MTL? “ Sujeong said and glanced at Haneul.

“ MTL High School is definitely not a normal school. MTL do you know what does that stands for? “ Haneul asks Sujeong. Sujeong shook her head as a answer ‘no’.

“ MTL stands for mortality. The reason why we held Judgement Time is to kill those weaklings that don’t deserve to become immortal. Judgement time will keep be holding until the last ten student is left. The ten of them will battle against each other until there is one survivor. The king promises us to make us become immortal like him. This is why we enrol to this school. “ Haneul stands up and lean on the desk that is next to her bed.

“ Immortal? Is it possible? “ Sujeong doubt the king’s promise.

“ It is. When the school was first open, the king demonstrates his mortality to us human beings. He ordered someone to kill himself, he did bleed and felt pain. When he stopped breathing and his pulse were all dead, we all thought he was a goner. We hold a death ceremony, when we are about to bury him. That’s when miracle happens. The coffin suddenly opens by itself and the king steps out from the coffin. He proves that he is immortal. He is the God. I want to become immortal. That’s why I enrol to this school.
