Nicky let her friend drag her as they hurried to get in line for the Bangtan fanmeet. Julie was ecstatic to meet the boys she’d fallen so hard for and the only person who could stand her fangirl ways was Nicky, who happened to be a fan too. What Nicky didn’t tell Julie was why she wanted to come in the first place. As they stood in line, Nicky thought back to the last time she’d seen him.

“Hoseok!” Nicky called out and ran up to her best friend.

She gave him a smile and waved like crazy at him. Her waving slowed as she realized that her greeting hadn’t fazed the boy sitting on the bench.

“What’s wrong?” Nicky questioned.

Hoseok who was usually filled with smiles and laughs had a serious look on his face. Nicky took a seat next to him on the bench.

“I’m leaving you,” Hoseok said.

Nicky gave a puzzled look before deciding he was joking. She gave a playful shove and began to laugh.

“Good one. You had my going for a minute.”

“I’m serious,” Hoseok snapped.

He turned to face his friend who was looking at him as if he was a stranger.

“Seriously? Why?”

Hoseok shook his head and went to looking straight ahead, avoiding all eye contact.

“Does it matter why? I have to go and that means we can’t be friends.”

Hoseok got up from the bench and hurried away. Nicky watched him leave in complete awe. He was gone.

“Nicky!” Julie shouted to get her attention.

Shaking her head of the memory, Nicky looked over at her friend.

“Did I space out again?” Nicky asked.

Ever since she learned her Hoseok had debuted by the stage name of J-Hope, she’d been thinking about the past a lot.

“You’ve been doing that so much. Is everything okay?”

Nicky lightly smiled and gave a nod. It was after Hoseok left that Nikcy met Julie. She had no idea about the two’s history.

“I’m just thinking about what I’m going to say when I see the boys.”

“I’ve been wondering what I’m going to say as well. I have to do my best not to make an idiot of myself in front of J-Hope. We are definitely destined to be together.”

Nicky bit her lip to keep from saying anything about J-Hope. About Hoseok. She still wasn’t sure whether she’d talk to him or not when she got in there. Until she was standing in front of him she wouldn't know.

“I’m excited to meet Rap Monster,” Nicky said.

It wasn’t really the truth but she refused to say she was here for Hoseok. As much as she missed him, she still hated how he just left without a proper goodbye or even a proper reason.

Time seemed to go by agonizingly slow and it seemed that their time was never going to come. The closer they got the more nervous that Nicky felt. Her stomach was begging for some food and Nicky stood in line wishing she’d eaten breakfast. But due to the nerves of reuniting with Hoseok, eating breakfast slipped her mind.

“Is that your stomach?” Julie asked.

Nicky nodded and gave a nervous laugh.

“I skipped breakfast too. I was too busy picking out the perfect outfit.”

Looking to where the boys stood, Nicky saw Hoseok at the end of the line. Nicky felt like her legs would give at any second but she ignored it, thinking this was all nerves.

“We’re up next,” Julia beamed.

Nicky felt dizzy and she went to head up to the step and she fell backwards, Julie catching her right before she hit the ground.

“Nicky!” Julie screamed.

The fanmeet came to a halt as everyone looked at the girl who’d fainted. Hoseok couldn’t help but perk up at the name, remembering about his old friend. He and the other Bangtan members got up from their seats tried to get a good look of the scene. They excused themselves from the table and went to check on the girl along with the security guards.

“Nicky,” Hoseok gasped.

He grabbed onto the person closest to him who was Rap Monster.

“I know her. That’s my friend,” Hoseok whispered.

“She’s with us,” Rap Monster said.

Julie gasped along with the rest of the fans at Rap Monster’s words. Julie didn’t understand how Rap Monster knew Nicky but she was grateful as the security guards escorted them backstage.

After the fanmeet had come to a close, Hoseok rushed backstage to greet Nicky. The others stopped him and demanded an explanation.

“Is this the girl?” Jimin asked.

“Yes,” Hoseok answered.

The members all grinned and shoved Hoseok into the room where Nicky was being kept. She was awake and being giving food and water. Hoseok saw her smiling shyly because of all the attention and grinned. Julie looked over and smacked Nicky’s arm to get her attention.

Seeing Hoseok in the room, Nicky nearly choked on her water.

“You’re here,” he said.

“I’ll leave you two,” Julie said.

She shooed everyone out leaving it be just them. Nicky nibbled on the granola bar they’d given her and avoided eye contact.

“I missed you,” Hoseok said.

As much as his feet wanted to run and hug her, his mind was hesitant. He took a cautious step forward. Then another.

“Not enough to stay in contact,” Nicky spat.

“I was pursuing my dream to be an idol.”

Nicky rolled her eyes and took a big bite out of her granola bar. Hoseok froze where he was and watched as Nicky took out her anger on the food in front of her.

“Why couldn’t you tell me that was why you were leaving? I’ve pretty much hated you for three years because you were making your dream come true. How stupid and selfish does that sound?”

Hoseok take a couple more steps toward and Nicky and soon sat next to her on the couch was currently spread out on.

“It sounds really stupid and all I can say it that I thought I was doing the right thing at the time. I thought that cutting you from my life was easier than me canceling on you many times because I was busy training.”

Seeing that Nicky was easing up, Hoseok smiled and decided to continue to speak.

“I don’t think a day has gone by where I haven’t thought about you in some way. Either I see someone that looks like you or someone says something which reminds me of you and the members got so curious about you.”

Hoseok was surprised as Nicky slid over next to him and wrapped her arms around him. Once over the initial shock, Hoseok wrapped his arms around her and moved her head to rest on his shoulder. Hoseok couldn’t help but wonder, was hugging her always this amazing? Did he always get this feeling before?

“You’re hugs are better than I remember,” Nicky said and sighed with content.

She had three years of Hoseok hugs to catch up on. In no way was she going to let go anytime soon.

“We should have dinner and catch up,” Hoseok suggested.

“Hm,” Nicky said and closed her eyes.

She found sleep to come easy in his arms. The other members and Julie came back inside and the two separated from each other, looking away and clearing their throats.

“We have to talk,” Julie said.

Nicky looked over at Hoseok before getting up off the couch.

“I’ll see you in a bit for dinner. My number is the same. Just call me when you’re on your way, okay?”

Hoseok nodded and Nicky left with Julie who went on and on about how she couldn’t believe Nicky kept this a secret. She babbled on about how her time with the other members went outside before begging to know what happened inside. Nicky zipped her lips and laughed at her friend who pouted. They headed home where Nicky got ready for her dinner.

Nicky sent her friend home before Hoseok arrived and sat in disbelief as she waited. The two friends went out to dinner where they caught up and laughed with each other.

“And then I had ice cream all over me and it was simply a disaster,” Nicky concluded.

“I remember when we were little and we had that ice cream fight during summer. Your dad was watching us and he fell asleep so we took the ice cream buckets outside in the hot sun and just threw ice cream on each other.”

The two laughed at the memory.

“My hair felt sticky for two days. But it was worth it because that was an awesome day.”

After finishing their meal, the friends headed out for a walk. As they continued to chat, their hands would brush against each other’s leading both their cheeks to be red. Hoseok took a big leap and grabbed hold of Nicky’s hand. Nicky looked down at their hands and then slowly looked over at Hoseok to see him giving her a sweet smile.

“I like this,” Nicky admitted.

“Me too,” Hoseok agreed.

The two no longer knew what to say to another. They kept looking at each other only to look away seeing the other had already been looking. Nicky took it to the next level and hugged Hoseok’s arm, leaning her head on his shoulder. Both of their hearts were beating down like crazy. No more words were needed as they walked around. Being together again after three years and snuggling like this was enough for them.

Hoseok brought Nicky back home before it got too late and though the two were huddled for a decent amount of time, he still gave her a hug goodbye.

“I’m glad we’re together again,” Hoseok said.

“Me too. You’ve been gone from me long enough.”

Hoseok stuck out his pinky and Nicky laced hers with his and the two pressed their thumbs together.

“I promise you that I’ll stay by your side forever.”

lol like seriously what is a bias list? I friken had one but literally I don't know anymore. Jimin is first and the rest are all 2nd cause I just don't know anymore. And can I just say that INFINITE POSTED A NEW LOGO AND I"M GOING CRAZY. Idk how I made this when I've literally been spazzing about Infinite all day. xD
