* Outside the airport

[Someone was answering a call on his phone, while holding a placard with blinking lights around the letters, just like the ones fans used for their idols...]

JAE: MAMA? Yes, I’m here already... she's arrived? Okay 
MAMA! I’ll just wait here, but MAMA do I really have to hold 
This placard up? I don't know what's written here, are you 
Sure this is not offensive in any way? Yes MAMA... will 
Do... bye!

[The placard reads:*blink blink blink "MAHAL KONG DARA! SIYA YUN! GWAPO 'NO?" *blink blink blink]

Trans: "MY LOVELY DARA! THIS IS HIM! ISN'T HE HANDSOME?"

JAE: "I just hope MAMA didn't write anything embarrassing! AISH! I can't understand it!"

[Scratching his head as he watched a group of people walking outside... he then held the placard up for HER to see... unknown to him, some people can understand what the placard meant, they can't help but give him a smile, while some left side comments like...

WOMAN 1: gwapo nga! (HE REALLY IS HANDSOME!)

WOMAN 2: akin ka na lang? (WILL YOU BE MINE?)

WOMAN 3: swerte naman kung sino man si DARA (THAT DARA GIRL IS ONE LUCKY GIRL!)

WOMAN 4: panalo! (WINNER!)

DARA: "Hmmmm... I wonder how I will know who will fetch me... Oh there's my name..."

[Reads the placard *blink blink blink MAHAL KONG DARA! SIYA 'YUN! GWAPO 'NO?! *blink blink blink]

DARA: "Awwwww NANA... still doing match making? What’s with the blinking lights?"

[She then looked to see who was holding the sign... she stopped on her tracks, her breath was caught up and she couldn't stop but stare...]

DARA: "He works for NANA? For real? He looks like a model! He is even prettier than me! Hahahaha... he looks fragile, feminine... GAY?!?!?! Teehee"

[She then approached the guy and said while pointing to the placard]

DARA: hi there! That’s me!

JAE: YOU'RE DARA?!?!?! PARK DARA ?!?!?!?!

[He had a surprised look on his face still holding the placard up high]

JAE: "I thought MAMA said I was going to pick her niece up... I wasn't expecting I’ll be babysitting!?!?!?! AISH! And here I thought MAMA was trying to hook me up with her... NO WAY! She’s like a little sister!!!"

DARA: you know my name but I don't know yours!

[Standing with her arms crossed pouting]

DARA: "He must be trying to figure me out with that confused look of his, he has RED LIPS... or wait is that RED LIPSTICK... nah, it looks natural... hmmm... I wonder.... GAY?!?!?!? Teehee"

JAE: YAH! Where are your manners?! I’m older than you! Show some respect!

[Jae was surprised by the informal language he was receiving]

JAE: "AISH! This kid will be a headache, just like CHANGMIN!"

DARA:"WHAT?! Older?! Is he 30 y/o then? Oh my, such a young-looking 30-year-old the! And he has quite a temper eh?"

[She then looked at him and stated with wide eyes]

DARA: so you want me to call you AHJUSSHI then?

JAE: YAH! BRAT! How old are you?! Don’t you know manners?!

[He raised his voice a bit, beginning to get the attention of some people]

JAE: "Really... this girl... aish!! I’m going out of my mind here! She will really be the death of me!"

DARA: so you're a GRANDPA already? HARABEOJI?

[Enjoying the look he has on his face, confused, frustrated and angry]

JAE: YAH!

DARA: I’m 26 y/o! What’s your problem?!

[She shouted making JAE surprised. Jae immediately grabbed her passport checking her birth date! NOVEMBER 12, 1984)

JAE: unbelievable!!!

[He looked at the passport, then looked at her, then looked at the passport again then again at her]

JAE: "AISH! NOONA?! HER? A NOONA? I can't force myself but I have to..."

JAE: sorry Nooo-ooona...

[He bowed in apology and carried her 3 huge suitcases easily, showing his arm muscles]

DARA: "WOW! He easily carried my suitcases! had to pay extra for over loading it and here he is, carrying it effortlessly... maybe not GAY... just feminine-looking... Hmmmm... Teehee!"

[She followed Jae as they walked towards the parking lot where the van was parked]

DARA: I am a noona to you? How old are you then?

[They stopped walking when they reached the van, as Jae put the luggage down and bowed in front of her]

JAE: hello noona... I am JAEJOONG, 24 y/o, sorry for being rude... nooo-oooona...

[He then loaded the luggage in the back of the van, and opened the door for her]

JAE: "AISH! It’s really awkward calling her noona when I look like I’m older than her!"

DARA: if it makes you uncomfortable... you can stop calling me NOONA, I know I don't look like it... compared to you.

[She smiled at him who caught him by surprise]

DARA: just call me DARA, its fine!

JAE: THANK GOD! It seems like you read my mind! Nice to meet you DARA... ready to go?

[He smiled back and then drove off when Dara nodded]

DARA: nice to meet you too! So you work for NANA?

JAE: yes, I am the head barista. I learned from the best!

DARA: yup, me too! NANA is a great barista! She is known in the coffee industry as the MASTER BREWER… I just got back from my studies abroad… she sent me to Europe to study COFFEE

JAE: Really?! Maybe you can teach me some more…

JAE: “WTF!? Jae stop sounding too excited!”

DARA: So you are the apprentice NANA is talking about… the one who kept coming back?

JAE: MAMA talked about me?

DARA: Yup… she sents me letters… she tells me about you guys, it feels like she treats you as her grandsons already, it’s good she has some company then.

[then they went silent…]

DARA: *yawn! I’m sorry… I hope you don’t mind… I’m a bit sleepy from the travel… I’ll just sleep for a bit.

JAE: It’s okay… it will be about an hour’s drive…

[after an hour, they arrived at the coffee shop, Dara was still sleeping, Jae didn’t know if he should let her sleep of wake her up, when Changmin, out of nowhere, peeked inside the van]

CHANGMIN: Hyung! Who’s she? Your girlfriend!? Never knew you like younger girls hyung!

[taking a look at Dara who was sleeping soundly, Changmin gave Jae a teasing look]

JAE: Changmin! Shut up! AISH! You might wake her up!

[Jae hit Changmin’s shoulder as they start their bickering while Jae hopped out of the van and ran after Changmin. Meanwhile, Dara then tossed and turned trying to adjust her position… then suddenly opened her eyes, immediately sat straight bumping her head on the sun visor]

DARA: OUCH! AIGOO! We’re here already?

[she then stepped out of the van, stretched out, and rubbed her temple, checking the mirror if it left a mark… she then saw Jae running after a tall man, Jae noticed that she was already awake and ran back to her]

JAE: Finally you’re awake!

[Jae was trying to catch his breath from running]

DARA: Is NANA here already? Who’s he?!

[ she asked pointing to the taller man]

CHANGMIN: Hi! I’m Changmin… what’s your name little girl?

[Changmin extended his right hand for a hand shake, Dara reached into it and shook his hands]

DARA: Hello, my name is DARA and I’m not a little girl… okay fine… I may be compared to you… but I’m 26 years old.

CHANGMIN: WAH! NOONA! Mianhe noona!

[Changmin bowed non stop]

DARA: It’s alright! I get that all the time!

[Jaejoong and Changmin unloaded her luggage as they went inside the coffee shop]

DARA: Wow! So this is NANA’s coffee shop?! It’s really beautiful! They really have their own sections!

JAE: Min! Where are the others?

CHANGMIN: Still at the back, eating breakfast Hyung! They ordered me to open up the coffee shop. Aish, the pains of being the maknae.

JAE: I’ll help you then. Dara are you ok by yourself there? [she nodded] we have to open up the shop okay… make yourself at home.

As the two then arranged everything at the coffee shop for the opening, MAMA arrived and hugged her Niece DARA. Then the rest of the boys entered and helped Jae and Min.

MAMA: boys… come here… my dear little ones…

[the boys then gathered and stood beside MAMA in this order from right to left: Yunho, Changmin, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu]

MAMA: Boys, this is Sandara Park, she is my niece… she’s 26 years old, from time to time she might lend a helping hand here… Dara, this is Yunho, he is my supervisor; Changmin, one of the baristas; Jaejoong, senior barista; Yoochun, one of the baristas; and Junsu, in charge of pastries, isn’t he cute?!

DARA: Hello! Nice to meet you guys!

BOYS (except for JAE): Nice to meet you too, NOONA! [they bowed in unison, except for JAE]

MAMA: Changmin, your mom called me… she told me to remind you that you are going to be picked up today for your family reunion over the weekend… Giles will fetch you, did you pack your things yet? [Changmin nodded], okay that’s good… boys be good okay, Dara will fill in Min’s spot tomorrow, I expect you dear boys to help one another… ARASSO?

ALL: Yes MAMA!

[the five were all smiles as MAMA and DARA left]

MAMA: so… what do you think?

DARA: NANA… okay… yes, he’s good looking and no doubt has a good personality… but I’m really not interested in falling in love or what… I’m here to train under you… remember?

MAMA: That’s what you’re saying now… but you can’t help it… it’s the nature of LOVE… and with you working side by side with him… can’t escape that…

[MAMA teasing DARA who was turning red in embarrassment]

DARA: NANA… let’s focus first! If love does come, I’ll welcome it with open arms… I missed you so much NANA!

[Dara then hugged MAMA as she fell asleep beside her in the car going to MAMA’s house]

@ the Café

YUNHO: yo Jae! You alright? You’ve been shaking your head from time to time now… sooner or later your head just might fall off bro!

JAE: AISH! That girl! Dara… all I did in front of her… all embarrassing! And this… have no idea what this means!

[Jae showed Yunho the placard he held up at the airport]

YUNHO: we can post this on the FREEDOM WALL and ask our customers to translate it for us.

JAE: that’s a good idea!!! Chun! I’m just gonna post something in the WALL okay?

YOOCHUN: yeah hyung!

[He didn’t look nor turned his head, as he was busy helping Junsu with preparing the pastries]

[Grabbing the placard and headed for the FREEDOM WALL and posted it. Then a uniformed man entered the café… Junsu looked up to greet the man]

JUNSU: good morning sir… Oh Giles! Changmin’s service is here already, I’ll call on him… Chun please continue first okay?

YOOCHUN: Yeh!

[Yoochun continued scooping up the batter and placed it on the baking pan, while Junsu went at the back of the coffee shop where their house was located]

JUNSU: Min! Giles is here already!

CHANGMIN: Yeh hyung! Coming!

[Changmin then went out of his room bringing a huge back pack]

JUNSU: WOW! Are you staying there for a month?!

[Junsu was shaking his head while smiling]

JUNSU: Never mind, enjoy your reunion! Say hi for us!

CHANGMIN: Yeh hyung! I’ll be going then… bye!

JUNSU: yep! Take care!

[Changmin used the side passage of the café to go out front and meet with Giles who was waiting outside the car to put Changmin’s bag in the compartment and opened the door for him]

GILES: sir if I may say so… you’ve grown taller again!

CHANGMIN: seems like it hehehe… wait till SHE sees me!

[he excitedly entered the car as it drove off]

JUNSU: That kid! Min has left already! You should’ve seen his bag! It’s so HUGE!

YOOCHUN: what’s new!? Kekeke, where do you want this placed?

[referring to the tray of cookies]

JUNSU: at the back room… let it cool first!

*TINKLING OF BELLS [someone walked inside the café, Junsu looked up and smiled as he recognized the girl.]

JUNSU: good morning Ri In!

[the girl then stood in front of the display of pastries scanning the selection carefully]

JUNSU: what will you be having?

[Jae and Yunho are still at the FREEDOM WALL, reading whatever was posted, while Yoochun was at the back placing the cookies to let it cool, while Junsu smiled at the girl who was scanning the selection carefully, when the girl finally saw what she was looking for her face lit up and said smiling…]

RI IN: oatmeal cookie and salmon cheese sandwich please!

JUNSU: perfect choice ma’am! It’s our newest addition!

RI IN: “I know…” [she then looked straight at Junsu and said… ] to go please :D

JUNSU: right away ma’am!

[Junsu prepared the order, placed the cookie in a paper bag and re heated the sandwich in the microwave oven, as Ri In was paying the order, she slipped a note to Junsu, when Junsu looked at her, she smiled shyly and pointed at Yoochun discreetly who was at the back. Junsu got the message and nodded as the girl mouthed the words “tomorrow”. ]

[Yoochun was finished placing the cookie in the cooling room, as he walked towards the pastry counter, he saw the girl stealing glances at Junsu… Yoochun couldn’t help but smile…]

JUNSU: thank you mam! Come back again!

RI IN: “I’ll definitely will!”

[Ri In smiled at Junsu and took one last look at him who was already back at cleaning his counter, before walking out of the café.]

Later that night, a group of girls walked inside and headed for the music section of the café, all were wearing unique clothing (hiphop style)… one of the girls went to the coffee counter to order…

YUNHO: hi good evening!

CHAERIN: Can I have a brewed coffee please, no milk… for here

YUNHO: name please!

CHAERIN: CL

YUNHO: alright… one brewed coffee, no milk… for here!

[Yunho uttered talking to Yoochun]

YOOCHUN: AH! Is that for our dear CHAERIN, then?

CHAERIN: Yeh, oppa!

[Chaerin smiled and waved at Yoochun who was preparing her order]

YUNHO: you guys are here early! No event tonight?

CHAERIN: there is an event but it’s only for VIP’s so we got off early 

YOOCHUN: one brewed coffee no milk for our dear CHAERIN!

[Yoochun placed the mug on the tray]

CHAERIN: oppa when I am with my clique call me CL… hehehehe, thanks Yoochun!

YOOCHUN: you’re welcome!

[Yoochun gave Chaerin a charming smile as she walked towards her friends]

YUNHO: my name is YUNHO!

[he shouted out as if also wanting to be acknowledged by her]

CHAERIN: I know… thank you too… Yunho-sshi

[she said over her shoulder as she smiled and joined her friends]

YUNHO: how come you know all the girls… and the girls all know you!?

YOOCHUN: hyung! Not all okay? Besides I get a chance to talk to them when they post something on the WALL

YUNHO: yeah right! You and your playboy antics!

YOOCHUN: hyung1 I’m going to take a break ok? Jae-hyung is here already!

YUNHO: alright, PLAYAH!

[Yunho teased as Yoochun hung his apron and went to the WRITER’S SECTION to read new messages]

JAE(shaking his head): still no luck! No one has answered yet!

YUNHO: Jae, you just posted it awhile ago, give it some time…

[Yoochun saw the placard that Jae posted, he can’t help but smile… although he doesn’t know what it means he still found it funny. He then stared at the FREEDOM WALL and looked at the notes that were posted on it, he can see that almost all of the entries were about LOVE, relationships, some were just doodles or messages to them like…]

[Yoochun was silently laughing in one corner when he scanned the WALL and a sentence caught his eye]

[Yoochun was struck by the words like lightning, as he then grabbed the piece of paper and sat in one corner and continued reading…]

A box of chocolate, wrapped up all prettily in my desk drawer

These are the things that have been with me in my room for a year
And some letters, addressed and stamped
But that I couldn’t bring myself to send

The post ended just like that, it ended abruptly, it was as if the writer was distracted b some sort… Yoochun felt for the writer, the sadness was real.

JUNSU: hey Chun! What’s that you’re reading?

[Junsu stated as he sat beside Yoochun who was still holding the piece of paper, as he tries to read it]

YOOCHUN: One of the entries on the WALL, have you seen this?

[Yoochun gave the paper to Junsu as he began to read it… when he finished it, he too was moved by the sadness of the letter]

JUNSU: ahhhh… some of our customers use the WALL as a “message board” of some sort… oh I have a customer… back to work!

[Junsu then stood up and headed for the pastry section… Yoochun decided to write back and use the WALL as a “message board” as what Junsu called it.]
