---JIHYUN POV---

I woke up, realizing that Byunghun oppa is not sleeping beside me anymore. Of course, it made me panicked.

I quickly jumped out from the bed, searching for him. The bathroom, the kitchen, the living room, anywhere-- but nothing! There's no sign of him anywhere!

I bit my lips, trying to calm myself down, as I made my way to the fridge to get some water-- wait, is that a sticky note posted on the fridge?

Baby, I'm going to the shooting place. I'm sorry I can't cook breakfast for you.

I exhaled a sigh of relief. Thank God, he's just working.

Afterwards, I did my usual morning routine, and went to the resto.

Seeing the newbie start to lining up, I quickly put my things on my locker and hurried to join the line.

I stood behind D.O oppa, and he doesn't realized a bit that I'm at his back

"Goodmorning D.O oppa!" I jumped, saying it directly into his ear, making him jump a bit

"Oh gosh, you scared me!" D.O oppa turned around, rubbing his forehead

"Teehee, I'm sorry~" I grinned, while he just shakes his head, turning his back facing me again.

"So, goodmorning newbies. You all, today, will be tested" the head chef stated

WHAT? A TEST?

"You guys, will be cooking your best dish you've good at. Quite simple, no? Well, we'll start from... Lee Jaehyun, and Son Gaelim"

We (newbies) went wild, and start panicking. No one expecting this kind of test. It's too sudden and i don't know if it's just me or what, but I feel tense.

"Please, Jaehyun-shi and Gaelim-shi, make your way to the kitchen" the head chef's clear and loud voice rang through the room

The crowd went quite after head chef's statement. I bit my lips, looking at D.O oppa.

"Oppa, what will you cook later?" I asked, as he looked in panic too.

"I don't know! Maybe I'll cook carbonara, or curry rice.. I don't know Ji! How about you?" he shrugged his shoulder, and asked me back

"I don't know too oppa! Maybe I'll--" I stopped midway, remembering how yummy Byunghun oppa's spaghetti yesterday

"I'll cook spaghetti!" I exclaimed, while D.O oppa frowned

"Spaghetti? What kind?"

"I don't know.. But I just ate it yesterday and it tasted delicious!"

"Really? Then.. I probably will cook.. hmmm.. let me think first" he pouted

Maybe I could really pulled off Byunghun oppa's spaghetti. I remembered what's in the spaghetti, and I still remember the taste.

Yes, that's it. I'm going to cook my hubby's spaghetti.

---CHANYEOL POV---

I sat on the judge's table, along with the 2 other chef.

Yes, I'm the one who wants to do the sudden test.

Why? It's because I'm curious about Jihyun's skills. And the other newbies too.

But I'm putting more hope into Jihyun's cooking skills. There's something about her, something special. I just can't put a word into it.

"Sir, who're you going to call next?"

I snapped back to reality, knowing that the other chef asked me.

"Call, Park Jihyun and Do Kyungsoo" I smirked

Oh, why do i call Do Kyungsoo?

Well, because he looks special, just as special as Jihyun. And not to mention he's the son of the famous hotel in the town.

Both of them are some excellent, special, and rare person. On top of that, they become 'newbies' in my resto. That's why I'm betting on their cooking skills.

From the start, I already knew who will i pick, only Park Jihyun and Do Kyungsoo. But you'll never know about the other newbies, right?

"Excuse me, sir, they're here and they started to cook just a while ago" the chef interrupted my mind-talking, while I just nodded

I carefully looked at both of them cooking, through the CCTV. They literally had everything, techniques, timing, taste, etc.

They just looked different. It's like, they had two personalities. They didn't play around and concentrated on each cooking, not talking or playing with each other.

I must admit, they're really good at this.

"Woah, so far, they're the best" the sous chef complimented, others agreeing.

In 20 minutes or so, they done their cooking together, and presented their arts to us.

"On the left, is Park Jihyun's cooking, and on the right is Do Kyungsoo's cooking" the waiter put down a bowl of spaghetti on the left, and fried rice on the right.

It looks simple, but elegant. Both of their cooking are simple. Easy to cook, easy to prepare.

"What's the purpose of you preparing this dish, Do Kyungsoo-shi?" the chef asked

"I cooked fried rice, because it's the food that everyone can cook, can eat, and can enjoy. No matter how poor, or how rich you are, this is the food that everyone can enjoy" he smiled, while I took a spoonful of his fried rice

It tastes... like a five-star hotel's fried rice. It looks simple but the taste, is wonderful. I must admit, this is one 10 out of 10's fried rice.

"Woah, Kyungsoo-shi, I must admit, this is delicious. And wonderful. There's so many taste dancing around my tongue and... just, well done Kyungsoo-shi. You make me loss of words" I chuckled, while he shyly rubbed his neck

"Thankyou, chef" he bowed

On the other side, I saw Jihyun's stiffened.

This is going to be interesting.

"What's the purpose of you preparing this dish, Park Jihyun-shi?" the chef asked

"I.. err. These days, I went to work here early and went home late, causing me to not able to spend time at home. But yesterday, out of the blue, my fiance cooked me the most delicious spaghetti I've ever ate. And so, i decided to give it a try. Maybe the reason I cooked this because last night, I actually feel like home again, and feel all the warmth and love" she blushed, upon telling us about her fiance

I chuckled, twirling my fork into her spaghetti. Taking a bite--

This..

"Excuse me, but, perhaps, did your fiance teach you how to cook these?" I asked

"Oh? Oh no no, he's busy these days. I learn it myself"

"In one day?"

"Err.. maybe you could say that. Actually I was just experimenting and tried to remember the taste" she looked down

Silence fill in the rooms. I could say the atmosphere become tense, because of me.

"Is it.. bad?" she started

"Jihyun, I must admit. You're special. You're able to learn a recipe in one day, and it tasted wonderful! Delicious! Excellent!" I praised, looking at her in disbelief

She's able to do this dish in one day? Just from eating it?

"Both of you, are amazing. I'm being honest with you two. And all I could think now is, how to get both dishes into my menu" I smirked

They stoned at place, frowning at me.

"That means, you guys are hired, full-time job. The new chef in my resto" I smiled, standing up, offering a handshake

They gaped, looking at me in disbelief and widened eyes. They both look cute, actually. Especially Jihyun.

"OMG OMG OMG OPPA! WE GOT IT!" Jihyun squealed, hitting Kyungsoo's back, while he just gaped.

"Thankyou boss! I mean, chef!" Jihyun ran to me and shakes my hand vigorously, with Kyungsoo trailing behind her

"I'm expecting you guys to be here tomorrow, with your new uniform" I chuckled, and they nodded their head

"THANKYOU CHEF" they bowed

Well, at least, I got what I wanted.

They're mine now. Kyungsoo's mine, Jihyun's mine.

I ABSOLUTELY GOT NO OTHER IDEA TO UPDATE EXCEPT ABOUT HOW JIHYUN AND D.O GOT ACCEPTED IN CHANYEOL'S RESTO. SINCE THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE LOOKING FOR CHANYEOL.

Why did I write in capslock? Ah, nevermind it. I'm just being crazy zzz
