---JIHYUN POV---

I was gaping like an idiot.

The man I bumped earlier, is my boss.

My boss, big boss.

Wow, I never know that the owner of this resto is this young!

He has that tall-built body, deep voice (as I hear his so-called 'annoyed' voice), and sets of white, nice teeth.

"Hello everyone, I'm Park Chanyeol. Your boss" he chuckled, after promoting himself

Gosh why does the 'boss' word keep on re-appearing?

"So, nice to meet you all. It's a pleasure to meet you all here. But, we prefer professional only, so please do all your best--" his voice and smile trailed off as soon as he meet eyes-to-eyes with me

"--And, please be kind to your boss" he smirked, while looking at me

I bit my lips, uh-oh, does he knew me? I bet he does-_- I was running like a mad woman earlier

"So, i'll be on my office now. Enjoy your training people" he grinned, and went upstair, while we all bowed, including me.

After he left, we all back into standing position and the head chef cleared his throat

"So, people, let's start your training and your tour to the kitchen, chop chop" he clapped his hand, and led the way

All of the newbies followed him, and me, without knowing, is at the end of the row. Sigh, how can I know what the head chef will be explaining--

"Hey, nice to meet you" suddenly, a pair of hands appeared infront of me

I looked up, meeting a guy, with big-doe-alike eye, and nice smile.

"My name is Do Kyungsoo. Prefer to be called by D.O" he smiled

I smiled back, shaking his hand, "I'm Park Jihyun. Just call me Jihyun. I'm 22, how about you?"

"I'm 23. Well, that mean you can call me D.O oppa" he chuckled

Oh? He's the same age as Byunghun oppa?

"Oh, okay then. Hahaha" I laugh awkwardly

"So, let's help each other? I can't really listen to what the head chef is saying when i'm at the end of the row" he rubbed the back of his neck

"Oh really? Well me too. Hahahaha, okay, let's help each other" I giggles, while taking out the small notes I've prepared earlier and so does he

Everyone starts scribbling down what the head chef told us, including me and D.O (oppa), with us often exchanging notes lol

He's just explaining what to do, what's the rules in the kitchen, the stock-room, the locker, bla bla bla

"Don't you get bored listening to him? He's just explaining what we've learned in college" D.O oppa suddenly yawned, and closed his mouth using his hand

I giggles, just nodding but keep on writing down what he had said

"So-- oh, Chanyeol-shi, what are you doing here?" the head chef suddenly stopped, and looked to my direction

No, he's actually looking to Chanyeol sunbae who's (maybe) standing behind me

"I have something to say with this girl" a pair of hands suddenly tapped my shoulder, and I widened my eyes in surprise

Woah, D.O oppa looked surprised more. His eyes are bigger than usual!

The head chef just silently nodded, while Chanyeol sunbae patted my shoulder twice and left

Maybe he's giving me signal to follow him?

I hestitantly bowed to head chef, and then hurriedly followed the 'giant' Park Chanyeol sunbae.

I followed him upstairs, and went inside his office-- woah

His office was, neat, with some folders on his table, and trophies are neatly arranged on the glass-shelf

"So.." he started, while sat on his 'almighty-but-look-comfy' chair

I nervously stood infront of him, seperated by his 'almight-and-classic-looking' mahogany table

"So... Park. Ji. Hyun. Am I right?" he stressed each of my name correctly and smiled

I nodded, and I swear this is the first time I feel this nervous.

Am I in trouble? Uh-oh. It's my first job for God's sake!

"Interesting profile. I've been reading it" he picked up a folder, and threw it on his table

I stayed quiet. Doesn't know what to say.

"So, you're engaged to the famous Lee company's son?"

I gulped, arghh yeah, I just remembered I wrote those in my relationship status zzz

But all I wrote is Lee Byunghun, how could he-- oh yeah, he's the famous Lee company's son -as Chanyeol sunbae quoted

I nodded silently, looking down. I swear I could feel him staring at me, just like the way head chef is staring at me.

"Too bad then" he chuckled

I looked up, frowned. What does he mean--

"So, you're 22 this year?" he continued, just i was about to ask what is the meaning of earlier question

I nodded again. Duh I really don't know what to call him. Should I call him chef? Or boss?

"Well, you should call me 'oppa' then"

I blinked, what?

"Huh? But-- err boss, you're technically my boss, I can't--"

"You're special, just treat it that way" he grinned

I widened my eyes. Me? Special? How so?

"Sorry boss, but I don't like it. I don't want to be treated differently than others"  I declined, heck I don't want to be bullied because i'm the boss' special or whatever

"Hmm.. so, you're going to call me boss? Not chef?"

"Uhhh, if you wants me to call you--"

"Okay, call me boss. I feel more authority if you call me that way" he smirked

I nodded, while in my mind I rolled my eyes because of his cockiness

"So, I heard you got punishments after training?" he continued

I sadly nodded, quietly sighing.

"Why are you late this morning, if I may ask?"

"I just moved in yesterday and it wasted a lot of my energy so.. I kinda woke up late" I explained

He nodded, while tapping his chin using his slender, long fingers

"Well, I supposed engaged couple is busy, huh?" he teased

Huh, he's an one of the kind boss, I presumed...

"You may be punished another day then, since I think you're going to clean up your new place today"

I blinked again, what? He's serious?

"But boss, oh my, really?" I gaped, not able to decline this good offer, especially where I can meet with my old friends!

"Yes, take it as a 'first-day-chance' , okay?" he smiled

I smiled back, and nodded energeticly, while bowed to him

"Okay, you may go back to your training now. I'm going to talk to the head chef about your punishment later" he clapped his hands

I grinned, and went out from his office with a happy face, going downstairs meeting the groups is taking a break.

"Oh, you're back!" D.O oppa cheered, when he saw me

And every newbies seems to be looking at me, wondering what'll probably happened to me

I quietly sat beside D.O oppa, and he sat infront of me, blocking my view against the other newbies

"So, what's the matter?" he whispered

I chuckled, while shook my head, "It's nothing. Just the boss delaying my punishment"

"Oh really? Wow, that's very generous of him" he looked surprised

"I know, right? Maybe he's being kind-hearted for newbies on the first day" I joked

"Or maybe, he's having a crush with a pretty newbie" he winked

I rolled my eyes, laughing at his lame jokes.

That can't be real.

So, CHANYEOL it is! And D.O as the side character. Since he just seems to fit in this whole restaurant/cooking/culinary thingy.
