You were still half asleep. Your eyebrows crossed. “Afternoon? What the heck is she saying?” You looked at the time at your digital clock. “3:41 PM??? How can I sleep that long???” You glanced back at your bed. “A family dinner. Psh.” You held the dress up. “As if I’m going to wear this…” You shook your head and went to the bathroom to take a bath. As soon as you finished, another knock was heard.

You quickly changed to casual clothes. “Come in.”
