After sometime Jonghyun came out of the bathroom.
Jinki's gaze followed him as he sat on the chair and turned towards Jinki who was sitting on the bed.
"I just don't understand some parents. How can they be so unreasonable?" Jonghyun asked. His eyes distant, deeply thinking about something.
"Why?"
"I met someone today, and just wanted to kill him on the way he treated his son."
"Well some parents are like that, thats the way they show their love to their children."
"Love? The only thing my father taught me was how to use a gun, beat up people and not to trust anyone."
"Your mother?"
"I am an orphan. At the age of 10 I was adopted by my father."
"Well it seems I'm not the only one from a screwed up family."
"You too?" Jonghyun asked Jinki, turning his attention to Jinki.
Jinki sighed. "My mom died giving birth to me. So my father re-married. But when I was 5 he died too."
"How?" Jonghyun asked.
"A heart attack they said." and Jinki continued, "My stepmother then remarried when I was 8. So I have a stepmother and stepfather. Basically I'm an orphan too."
"Was it your stepfather who beat you up?"
"Yeah. It started when I was 9 and continued till when I was 15."
"Didn't your mother stop him?"
"She didn't care about me."
"Then what made him stop?"
"I made him stop. I'd had enough. I caught his hand before he could hit me and pushed him away and ran away. But they tracked me down, they wanted the money my father had left for me. After that he never touched me. When I was 18 I left home, and came here. But some years later they too came here." Jinki said with a sigh.

He looked up at Jonghyun and his gaze darted towards his torso, and was reminded of what had happened some minutes ago. He could feel the colour rise in his cheeks. He turned away. And things became awkward. He cleared his throat to dissolve the awkwardness, but it became more awkward.

"Sing something for me." Jonghyun said.
"Huh? What?" Jinki asked bewildered. "What's up with his mood swings?" Jinki thought to himself.
"Start singing. If I were you, I wouldn't want you to see me angry."
Jinki shaked his head. And started singing the first song that came to his mind.

"I'll be your dream, I'll be your wish, I'll be your fantasy." Which earned him a smirk.
"I'll be your hope, I'll be your love, be everything that you need.
I love you more with every breath, truly madly deeply do." He got an raised eyebrow for this.
"I will be strong I will be faithful cause
I'm counting on a new beginning. A reason for living, A deeper meaning.
I want to stand with you on a mountain,
I want to bathe with you in the sea," Two raised eyebrows and smirk here.
"I want to lay like this forever,
Until the sky falls down on me."
"I am going to sing till here." Jinki said, blushing furiously.

"It's a nice song. Even the standing and bathing you want to do with me." Jonghyun said his voice warm, but amusement clearly evident.
"You should sing a song too." Jinki said, trying to change the topic quickly.
"No."
"Come on! It's not fair. Why should I be the only one who sings. I want to hear you sing. Please Jonghyun."
This was the first time Jinki had called Jonghyun by his name. Jonghyun was surprised as well as happy and finally gave in. He cleared his throat,
"This is my favourite song.
Fascinated by the moon as we walk along the river banks
Being carried by the waves towards the old town
The merry making continues until this time we slip away yet no one has seemed to notice
Let the night wind blaze forever like this
Until we understand both of our hearts

Jinki watched Jonghyun with fascination. He had never heard anything this beautiful. When Jonghyun finished singing he noticed Jonghyun's eyes were moist.
"You sing so beautifully."
Jonghyun gave him a heart-melting smile and said,"Thank you. Seeing that both of us sang so well, I think a reward is necessary."
"A reward?"
"Yes a reward. A reward for both of us." And Jonghyun got up from the chair.
