A Fifteen Year Olds First Heart Break.

“I’m busy Ahreum!” He said for the nth time.

He uttered those three words for the past weeks. It’s scaring me. What if he doesn’t want me anymore? What if he doesn’t love me anymore?

Absentmindedly, my hand caressed my necklace. The one he gave me one our first day as a couple.

It scares me that he’ll change mind and leave me. We were too young back then; everything might just be a puppy love. I’m scared.

“Hey,” Cheseul greeted with Seokmin beside her. They look so happy together. “Anything wrong?” Cheseul asked and sat beside me. I faked a smile at her and shook my head. “I’m.. fine.” I muttered and tried to look fine as possible.

After Cheseul and Seokmin, Mingyu and Heesu came and entertained each other in the corner, not even greeting us. They must be too in love with each other.

“Okay, then.” Cheseul tapped my shoulder and scooted closer Seokmin on the other corner. I stared at the vacant seat beside me and sighed.

I watched my friends laugh and smile happily with their own lovers, guilt and envy eating me up; guilt for desperately wanting to replace them. I want to be them even just for a day.
