A Ten Year Olds First Love.

“You’re too young for that, Honey.” Mom said, ruffled my hair and continued folding our newly washed clothes. After Mom, I went to Dad who is fixing the car. He’s under the car and it’s loud, very loud. I shouted with my hands cupped to my mouth “Daaaaad!! How do I fall in love?!?”

The loud noise stopped for a moment but then it resumed. Huh?

I cupped my mouth again and shouted. “DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! HOW. DO. I. FALL. IN. LOVE?!?” It stopped again and Dad slid away from the car. He took his goggles off. “Oh! Son! What are you doing here?” Huh? He didn’t hear me?

“Dad, how do I fall in love?” Then he started chuckling, tousle my hair and: “You’re too young for that, son.” Ugh. I’m already ten!! I guess I have to tell Life about this.

Slowly, I slip away from the garage and up to my room, walls painted with red, as usual. Then and the bottom of my pillow lays my red notebook and pencil. I laid on my stomach and started writing.

Today I asked about falling in love. They didn’t answer me, yet again. Life, I really want to fall in love. Seokmin said the feeling is veeeery good. He said I’ll feel butterflies in my stomach – Wait.. Butterflies in my stomach?!? Isn’t that bad?!?

But anyways, I wanna feel it. It looks good. All the senior noona and hyung, who Mingyu says, are in love looks extremely happy. I wanna feel it too.

I’ve got to go now. I promised Mingyu and Seokmin we’ll go hang out today. And nope, I’m not gonna ask what hang out is, I know what it means; Mingyu already told me. :D

Now what do I wear? I’m usually not like this, I always wear plain trousers and a boring t shirt but today, I felt the need to dress up, you know, there’s something pulling me to look good today. And so, I end up wearing a red flannel shirt, black wife beater and a black skinny pants. Looking good, Wonwoo.

I was fixing my hair when two loud idiots suddenly entered my room and slammed my bedroom door very loudly. And to think that Mom and Dad find this two loud idiots, lovely and adorable. Ugh.
