It's scary to think what love can do to a person. Falling so hard and never being able to climb back up. I'm scared to even think about it. I've only seen it in movies, people falling in love so hard that it ends up ruining them. I mean...that's all fictional right? Reality's not like that...right?

Guess I was wrong.

I never expected things to turn out this way..

Characters :

Park Hyejin

Hyejin's quite the outspoken and competative girl. She doesn't have a lot of friends since highschool due to the fact that majority of the female student body either were wary of her, felt jealousy and resentment at her for dating Han-gil (5Zic). They couldn't understand why someone like her was dating their school's most popular guy. She was fairly simple and wasn't a girly type of girl. She wore pants and shorts instead of skirts and would wear shirts instead of blouses and dresses.

She's very caring towards the people who are close to her but often times wary of those who she doesn't know. She's gotten into fights a lot during highschool against those who wanted her to break up with Han-gil but she'd always send them away crying. She's an art major and quite good with what she does. She and Han-gil have been dating for more than 4 years already, having been childhood friends for more than 5 years.  

Kim Han-gil (5Zic)

Hyejin's long time boyfriend and the popular jock at their old highschool. 5Zic looks like the typical jock on the outside, tall and muscular (he was into sports since he was a kid) and extremely handsome. Although he looks like this his personality is quite contradicting to his looks. He's very affectionate and protective of Hyejin since they were young and felt extreme happiness when she agreed to go out with him. Hyejin doesn't have male friends either because of 5Zic.

He gets extremely jealous whenever he sees other guys vying for Hyejin's attention (she doesn't realize this since she's a bit dense) and would often scare them away though he's never shown this side of him to her. Always portaying the loving boyfriend part, never this. He feels that Hyejin belongs only to him and that only he could protect and have her. Anyone else vying for her attention (whether it be male or female) are treated with utmost disdain. After graduating highschool, Hyejiin chose a different university than the one 5Zic was originally planning on going to together.

Bang Yongguk

Yongguk was another art major student Hyejin met at her university's opening ceremony. He was just as tall as 5Zic with the most adorable gummy smile she had ever seen, his whole presence was quite uplifting and she didn't understand why. Yongguk had a deep voice with a very masculine image that contradicted to his personality. He's very friendly and optimistic and his smiles were infectious for Hyejin. She felt instantly drawn towards him.

Yongguk was love at first site with Hyejin but upon finding out that she was already dating someone quickly pushed away his feelings for her. He didn't know why he was so deply attracted to her but he knew that he shouldn't. He and Hyejin worked at the same coffee shop and instantly became close friends. Although it often pained him, seeing Hyejin with her boyfriend he knew that it wasn't his place to interfere with their relationship. 5Zic doesn't like Yongguk but amazingly doesn't do anything towards him since for 5Zic, he doesn't see Yongguk as a man. He knows that Yongguk likes his girlfriend but is too much of a coward to act on his feelings. 

Kim Himchan

Yongguk's bestfriend and a music major in the same university as him and Hyejin. He's very playful and quite the ladies man. He believes that he can get any girl that he sets his sights on (much to Yongguk's dismay) and often quite succesful with it. Himchan belongs to a very well-off and powerful family though he's still best friends with Yongguk who was part of the middle-class unlike him.

He's very sincere and caring when it comes to Yongguk since for him, only Yongguk understands him. He didn't like Hyejin at first and felt jealous of Yongguk's attention towards her but slowly discovered that his feelings of resentment were turning into something else. Along the way he realized that he wanted Hyejin. He wanted to have a taste of her and didn't care that she belonged to someone else.
