Chapter 10

The plane landed smoothly and they’re back to Seoul.

But it isn’t that easy, now that Myungsoo and Jiyeon are complicated. So complicated.

“Is he there?”, Woohyun takes a peek out the window to confirm that it was Myungsoo’s car that parked in the garage. He takes his bag out of the trunk, looking down at the sole ground. “Yes.”

The six of them jumped into the kitchen. Sungyeol, the one who planned this surprise, gets out the cake that he baked from the oven and places it on the center of the table. Sunggyu closed the lights.

“Ready?”

Myungsoo takes out his bag out of his trunk. “What’re we gonna do?”, Jiyeon asked. As for him, he replied a deep sigh. He looks uncertain, but then he smiles. “Just.. trust me. You’re going to be okay?”

“Okay?!”, Jiyeon almost shouted. “What are you saying-”

“Shh.”, he puts her down again to the pocket of his leather jacket. “Stay there.”

He moves closely to the main door, placing his feet at the porch of the infinite’s base makes him feel sort of nervous. But even it did, he knows that they’re the ones who can understand him even if he did something “problematic”. After all, they’re his closest friends, his second family.

It took him half a second to twist the door knob and when it finally opened,, no one was there. There were no signs of people, dim lights. “Guys?”

Myungsoo took steps, nearing to the dining room but Panda barked. Hearing Myungsoo’s voice made him wiggle his tail and excited. “Panda?”

He docked down. He missed him. And then to his surprise, the others also revealed.

“Surprise!”, all of them targeted their eyes to Myung. He sort of made a laugh and held his chest. “Did we give you a heart attack?”, Sunggyu questions. Myungsoo stoods, “No?”

“It was a fail! That’s because of you Panda!”, Sungyeol blames Myungsoo’s dog. The other replied three sharp barks. “There was this two again.. ”, Sungjong observes they will have a fight again.
 

“Sungyeol was the one who planned this.”, Woohyun gazed at the leader of the surprise welcome back party. “It wasn’t planned!”, the one exclaims while swaying his arms, forming an ‘X’ to the level of his chest. “So, the cake wasn’t baked for me?”, Myungsoo tells.

“Haha. It’s alright Yeol. I know how much you love me.”, he jokes. A moment of awkward silence filled the room. He was to punch him light in the shoulders but then something passes into his mind – Jiyeon. “But I think I’m the one who has a surprise for you guys.. ”, Myungsoo looks at them one by one, analyzing their reactions.
