Little by little he puts himself together.

Weeks passed and despite his numerous hopes and wishes, Sunggyu did not hear from the lady who promised him his violin. Although he knew he was fooled, he would call her during the day anyway.

But all his calls were pointless. Nobody picked up and instead, he was sent to the answering machine. So Sunggyu finally gave up and decided to deal with the problem himself.

“Did you tell Grandma yet?” Myungsoo asked as the two ate lunch.

“Nope.”

“Are you going to?”

“I don’t want her to worry about me. I’ll deal with this myself,” Sunggyu said as he stood up.

Myungsoo sighed, “Hyung, I can help you.”

Sunggyu smiled as he put his shoes on, “Thanks but I’m fine, really.”

Myungsoo watched his older brother walk out of the home while shaking his head, “He’s so stubborn.”

Sunggyu walked out of the apartment building’s front doors and onto the damp street. It had rained all night which was just one of the reasons why Sunggyu couldn’t fall asleep. But he wasn’t the only one that didn’t sleep. There was a certain girl out there who had trouble sleeping, but it wasn’t the rain that bothered her all that much.

With his hands stuffed in the pockets of his worn out jeans, he got to the bus station. He wasn’t in the mood to walk today due to the weather, so he decided he would go on this adventure via public transit. The first stop of his adventure was at the bank where he would find out how much money he was actually short on.

“Ah, you actually owe the bank money,” The man told Sunggyu.

“Can you please repeat that?” Sunggyu asked, slightly in shock.

“See,” The man pointed to the negative number. “You borrowed more money from the bank than you have in your account.”

“Oh,” Sunggyu said limply.

He bowed at the man before walking out in a daze. He felt like reality finally hit him. It was like there was a train coming at him from far. He knew it was coming but he didn’t jump out of the way. Sunggyu got hit.

Sunggyu walked back outside before he found himself a spot outside of the bank on a large rock. Sunggyu buried his face within his hands, confused. He didn’t know what to do to pay back all the money. But he knew he had to do something fast. The debt he had would only accumulate.

“But what?” Sunggyu asked himself when he realized he didn’t know what to do to get money.

Asking Myungsoo for help was completely out of question. Asking his parents for help was even more out of question and he definitely wasn’t planning on asking his Grandmother for help. That only left him with one option: find another job.

“Hyung!”

The call brought Sunggyu out of his thoughts. He looked up to see Hoya waving at him. Sunggyu smiled before waving back at his friend.

“What are you doing here?” Sunggyu asked.

“I was looking for you,” Hoya grinned. “Myungsoo told me you would be here.”

Sunggyu nodded his head, “Why?”

Hoya gave Sunggyu a sympathetic look, “I heard about the violin.”

Sunggyu let out a small smile, “Yea.”

“Are you going to get another job now?” Hoya asked as the two began to walk.

Sunggyu nodded his head, “Yea. I was going to find one today.”

“I’ll help you,” Hoya smiled.

The two got back on the bus and rode to various places that they knew had job openings. Most of the time, Sunggyu was too late. The employers had already found workers and they had no other job offer they could give him.

After a couple of hours, Hoya and Sunggyu ended up near their home again. They walked past Woohyun’s restaurant and Sunggyu considered asking Woohyun for a job. But he decided he would only ask Woohyun for one if he became absolutely desperate.

“Let’s stop for today,” Sunggyu said. “I’ll look again tomorrow.”

Hoya nodded his head, “I’ll check with my friends to see if they know of any jobs.”

Sunggyu thanked Hoya before the two separated. Sunggyu decided to drop by at his practise room for a bit. He hadn’t had the chance to go there in a while. When he got there, he le
