Miyoung and Henry finished their Chinese food.
"That was so good!" Henry patted his stomache, "I want some more though."

Miyoung giggled, "Next time, I'll order more for you."
She sat down next to him and cracked open her fortune cookie.

"What does it say hunny?" Henry rested his chin on her shoulder.
"Oh," Miyoung smiled, "it says...

 true love never dies, it only gets stronger in time
 

"Wow," Henry pouted, "That sounded way better than mines."
"let me see," Miyoung took his fortune from him and read it.

Your future holds many goodbyes
 

"What! You really have bad luck," She laughed histarically.
"Hey, don't laugh at me just because you got a better one!", Henry pouted.


 

meanwhile in SOUTH KOREA...

"Hurry up Kai," Kriss nudged him, "You need to go back to work. Boss will fire you."

Kai burried himself in his blankets, "Go away." he said sleepily.
Kriss sighed, "Okay, just stay home then you baby. I'll come back later."

Kai continued to sleep the whole morning with his hangover lingering over him.

 

The clock 1 and he woke up from his same dream again.
"Miyoung ah....mi-......MIYOUNG!" he sat up alarmed and breathed unevenly.

"a dream again?" he chuckled to himself, "seriously? Ugh."
He got up and slipped on his running jacket then headed outside.








"Kai!" Someone yelled from a distance.
It was Haerim waving at him.
Kai looked at her and smiled weakly, then ran off.

Haerim sighed, "Poor Kai."



She was abandoned at the alter on her wedding day.
But somehow, between the both of them, Kai was hurt the most.

Haerim recovered, but felt guilt everytime she saw Kai. She wanted to make it up to him!
She wanted to set things straight!
But what can she do when she was the one who drove Miyoung out of Korea?

Haerim sighed in regret and walked off.


 

Kai went on his daily jog. He thought about Miyoung everyday, even while doing the most
simplest things; eating, sleeping, and even just breathing.

 

~Flashback~
(high school, Junior Year)

Kai was running around the track, trying to get into shape for basketball season. It was late at night, but he still kept on going, trying to improve himself.

Miyoung sat on the benches, watching him go around and around, and soon she started to yawn.
"I'm tired," Miyoung complained, "Let's go home now."
"One-One more lap," Kai insisted as he kept on running.


"Aish," she complained, "this is tiring! I'm not even the one running."
"hmm", She pondered then got up on her feet and joined him.

"What are you doing?" Kai asked as she caught up to him.
Miyoung panted, "I need something proactive to do to keep me up for now. Might as well join you."

"Awe, my dongsaeng is so nice," he sarcastically complimented her.

"Yah!" she warned, "Be thankful I'm running with you now. In the future, who knows, you might
be running around all by yourself wishing your nice dongsaeng was there," she stuck out her tongue to him, "hmmp."

Kai chuckled at her, "Whatever you say Miyoung!"

~End Flashback~


 

Tears blurred his vision yet he kept on running.

He missed her.
He regret loosing his chance to love her.
He just wants to make things rights
most of all, He just wants her back at his side again.
"Aughhh!" he yelled in frustration. He slowed down and tried catching his breath, "I can't do this anymore", he sighed.


"Watch out! It's dangerous!", a man called.

Kai looked at the man confusedly, "What is he talking about?"


A car was heading downhill and couldn't stop, not just that, but it was heading straight towards Kai!
BEEP BEEP BEEP! The car honked.
Kai's eyes widened and his body stiffened.

 It was too late, just 1 second too too late.

Kai flew into the air and gravity caught him hard.
He laid there unconscious in the middle of the road, murmuring her name over and over like a bad habit.

"Miyoung..... Miyoung........ Miyou-......."



And just like that, he fell into a deep slumber, with her in his dreams.
