My parents always comment on how I don't really "excel" at anything, and compare me to my cousins when the topic is martial arts. ((Cause they got to be brown belt in 4 years while it takes me 3 years to even get to 4 belts below brown belt.)) I'm a jack of all trades. I can do many things, but not be excellent at it. It really hurts because I worked hard for my grades, at sports, and my teachers at martial arts say I'm good. I mean, you don't get good things in life without working. And they just bring me down. Well >___> I sorta sleep in class, but still am the top student, so I don't know if that IS working hard or not . . .
My aunt lives with me and she's like a sister to me as well as a second mother. But she really doesn't like my music tastes, AKA K-Pop. Whenever I play songs from B.A.P, EXO, or Bangtan Boys on the speakers, she's always like "That sounds ugly." and "Why can't you just like classics and songs in English. You don't even understand it." Inside, I'm just blowing up. Why can't she just appreciate it? I do listen to songs on the radio in the car, but 90% of what I listen to is K-Pop, and I love it. ;-; It's just so frustrating."
