“You’re deep in thought Bo Mi” So Ra says.

Unfortunately, Bo Mi just fall into silent. She didn’t answer her question. She just stared at the sky blankly and wrote Tao name on the window. She didn’t care what kind of music playing in her iPod. So Ra then nudge her arm.

“Something went wrong last night?”

Bo Mi can’t pretend not to hear So Ra anymore. She slide her purple headphone to her neck and turned her body to So Ra. She played her finger.

“Unnie..what will you do if there was a man that you love before but he never love you back in the past..but now he come back to get your love back?”

“Well that was a very weird situation..let’s see..I think I will accept him slowly into my life..in addition if he become more handsome nowadays! Hehe.”So Ra says unpretentious.

Bo Mi just nodded in agreement.

“Mind telling me your story?”So Ra says.

Bo Mi just let out a big sighed and closed her eyes. After a few second, she opened back her hazel eyes and start telling So Ra about her problem.

“The thing is back in 4 years ago…”

-Flashback-

It was spring back in 4 years ago. The train is still moving to Kyeong Wha Station, Jinhae. Cherry blossoms rain down on the train track and countless shutters click madly away as the train approaches the station under the cherry blossom tunnel. And so Tao who was sitting there by the window, taking a few photo of the beautiness of nature.

“Wahhh it get a very beautiful view from here!”

Tao was taken aback when he hear some girls voice from behind. The girl was busy snapping photo just right next to him. Didn’t she saw someone was beside her?

“Ummm..”Tao tried to ask the girl why she was very ‘leisurely’ sat beside him when he bought two ticket for the both seat just by himself. But when the girl turned her small face to him, he the one who got shocked. The girl just stared at him without saying anything. She was analyzing him like he was some experiment. Deep in Tao heart, he prayed that she didn’t recognize him and just continue doing her work.

“Aren’t you…”she come nearer and nearer to his face.

Tao just let out a cough and pulled his mask to hide his mouth. He then pushed his rounded huge spectacle on his nose and turned his face to the right side. Unfortunately, when he faced at the right side she will follow and so to the left side.

“Yah! Can’t you just stand still? I think I know who you are..”she put both of her hand on his cheek, making Tao stay at one direction, that is right in front of her.

She narrowing her eyes like she was currently in investigation. Then, she smack her fist on her palm.

“Aren’t you the one who usually come to the restaurant that I was working? You always come with a white big drawing block isn’t? There is no mistake!”

She was delighted to see him but not for Tao. For him it was crazy! Out of many places why she must be really near to him. Just seeing her from a long distance in the restaurant already make his heart beat like crazy!

“I think you got a wrong person miss..”he lied.

“No I don’t! I really know very well with your style! Your hair always done very perfectly but your face really boring. I never mistake with my instinct!”

Well it’s not a very convincing compliment to have from her. Great but yet cruel. Without even care whose seat it was or even bother to ask him, she take the seat next to him and stretched out her hand to shake with him.

“Name is Yoon Bo Mi! Nice to meet you Mr. Long Leg!”

“Mr. Long Leg? Doesn’t she have a more suitable nickname to give to me?”

Tao didn’t shake her hand as he felt it dangerous for him. He was in danger of nervousness. That will make him faint there. When she noticed he won’t to, she just clenched her hand and put it away.

“What kind of sickness did you have that you keep wearing your mask?”

“Because I was an idol! Not because I was sick!”he just ignored her question but answer it in his heart. When she found out that he won’t answer her golden question, she moving on her next question.

“Ummm..did you really like the food in our restaurant that you come almost everyday? Oh and I realize that you always come by when it was my shift. I just a part time worker there. Currently, I was having my holiday before I graduated from university. Just saying it cause you might said that I skipped from my class.”

“I just come by to that placed just to saw you and draw your face in every page of my drawing block. I know when was your shift and know that you were younger than me. Skipped class? I’m the one who skipped my vocal class just to see you!”

When there was no response from Tao, Bo Mi just obdiently sat there singing some unpleasant song that he never heard before until she come up with a question that surely make him to open up his mouth.

“See this ring?”she showed her finger  to Tao with one of it have a rounded gold ring around it.

“I already engaged”

When he heard the word engage, his eyes wide opened and immediately turned his face to her asking for an answer. She just chuckling seeing his expression at that moment.

“I thought you didn’t care about my existence here anymore!”

As he saw her laughing so happily there, he a little bit relief. Maybe she was joking with him to get his attention on her.

“I wasn’t joking, I already engaged. I’m going to get marry after my graduation.”

Her emotions didn’t lied him. The cheerful face that was carved just now already vanished in instant when she mentioned about it.

“Poor me right? Going to marry in such a young age.”

“Did you like him?”just this question come through his mind. Bo Mi then gave a broad smiled at him.

“I will give a further information if you be my secret boyfriend for two days! Agree?”

The earth was going to tear apart. That is how Tao felt. A very nonsense request! She never talked with him before but already come up with this insane wish.

“Aww can you can you? I already ran away from my fiancée here! Won’t it will be lot more interesting if I just having an affair now? Did you ran away from your hyung? See see Jeong Min hyung keep appeared on your phone screen! Should I tell him your current location?”

“Hyung! Why did you call me at this hour?!”

“Mr. Long Leg! Hurry up!”she called for Tao.

At last he had to agree to Bo Mi request because she keep forcing him to agree to when they boarded the train. She was standing still on the wooden bridge. There was a very slimy river just below the bridge. The water was crystal clear where you could even saw your own reflection on the water. As she was amazed by the beauty of surrounding, sneakily Tao took a few photo of her before she realized it.

“You were taking my photo again isn’t you?”

“No I’m not!”he denied. He walked on the bridge and stood right next to her.

She just grinned seeing him lying to her. She wrapped her arm around Tao’s arm. Tao just let she do anything she want to so she will be satisfied her precious two days with him being her ‘secret boyfriend’.

“You know..I engaged with my fiancée without any bits of love. I never felt what was love. Is it really incredible like my friend described?”

“Then why did you accept his proposal? You should just say no. Why don’t you just date any guys in your university? Average girl like you will probably had at least a few guys who tried to woo you.”

“I would like to, but I need to save my family. I had no time to find love. My mother was sick. Unable to do anything and just lie down on her bed. My father left us with a lot amount of debt when he passed away. There is no way I could afford to pay for my mother medical cost with a mountain of debt. Then, there comes my fiancée. He was rich and was my senior. He really wanted me by his side that he even ‘buy’ me. He pay my mother hospital bill and settled all of my father debt. I own him a lot. There is no way I could say no when he make me his girlfriend and so about the engagement. Positively I always remind myself that maybe someday in the future, I could opened up my heart for him. But I think I need to hypocrite in front of him for the whole of my life.”she lean her head against Tao’s arm.

Awkwardly, he gently held her hand.

“You should set yourself free now. These two days, I will do my best to cheer you up..although we barely know each other.”

“Thanks. Why don’t we keep going now?”

As they walked there while devour every inch of magnificent scene, they come across with an old women. There were many couples line up to meet her.

“Oh she must be that famous necromancer that people was talking about! Should we get in line too?”

“I don’t believe in this thing Bo Mi.”

“I do! Come on Mr. Long Leg, you’re being not cool here!”she drag him into the line without his consent. When it comes their turned, they sat right in front of the lady.

“What do you want to know young lady?”the lady says softly.

“The thing is I’m going to get marry soon. Can you tell me my future with my husband-to-be?”

“So the men next to you is your…”

Quickly she shook her head.

“He just my friend. Just ignored him. He was mute. There useless to talk with him.”

Tao was in disbelief. She told the lady that he was mute?! This girl was really had so many hidden personalities inside her! The old lady just carve a warm smile, close her black eyes and put her hand on Bo Mi hand, reading her future. Few minutes later, she opened her eyes.

“How is it?”Bo Mi asked in curiosity and Tao too eagerly want to know the result.

“It’s not my placed to give any comment with your choice but I will just give an advised to you. Make a right choice young lady. Sometimes you need to follow what your heart says. You have many problems now wasn’t it? Take it easy and believed that every problem has it way out. As you went further in your relationship, there were more hardship you need to overcome.”

“Then..is he my soulmate?”

“Opened your eyes and you will see it soon!”

Bo Mi face turned to sour. Was she making a bad choice? The answer only in her hand. After that she said thanks to the necromancer and bow slightly before she leaved the tent. Tao followed behind her but his steps stopped when the lady called for him.

“Your fate with her was really strong! You too, be sincere with your heart! But remember one wrong stepped you take, it hard for you to get her back.”

Without turning back, he just waved at the old lady.

“Sorry ahjumma, I don’t believe in future reading!”

“I knew you weren’t..soon you will need too.”

“There is only one room? No other?” Bo Mi ask the receptionist. The receptionist checked again but she only come up with the same answer.

“I’m so sorry Miss..there is only this room. This always happened when the Cherry Blossom Festival held here in Jinhae. We will accept many tourist during this month.”

“I understood. Then just gave me that room.”

As the receptionist proceed for the check in, Tao walked from the lobby and approached her.

“Did you get it?”

“We shared the room tonight!”she took the card of the room handed by the receptionist and pulled her mini bag to the lift before Mr. Long Leg will say ‘no!’ to her.

“Are you alright sleeping down there?”Bo Mi took a peek on Mr. Long Leg condition who end up had to sleep on the floor and let her to sleep on the bed.

“I’m okey! Just sleep already. We have a very long journey tomorrow.”

“You..just come up here. I don’t care sharing bed with you.”

“But I do! It’s not nice though.”

“I insisted here! Sure enough you will have a backache tomorrow.”

Finally, he got up and get himself on the bed.

“Don’t make me responsible if anything were happened to you!”he said but then he turned his body away from facing her. Bo Mi vision become limited and only saw his back.

“Your back was broad. Could I hugged you tonight?”

“Emm..”his voice was glassy. Maybe because he was too tired enduring her wimp today.

When she make sure that he already fall asleep, she wrote ‘ Saranghae’ at the his back before she slept. Things that Tao never knew up till nowadays.

The next day…

“Didn’t get enough sleep last night?”

Bo Mi just nodded. She had a pair of eyes bag today. She didn’t say any word since they went visit Bomun Pavillion, Gyeongju before they take their leaved back to Seoul.

“I told you not to go there yesterday. Now look at you. You already turned to zombie. Is this the face you going to show when you walked on the aisle?”

“Aisle huh? Do you want to be the flower boys for my groom?”

She just playing around the food without even have a bite of it. She took the white silk napkin and wipe .

“I’m going to quit my job after this. I won’t working there anymore.”

Tao stopped from having another spoon of the spaghetti. That’s mean he will never see her again.

“So this was my last time seeing you after this?”

“Probably. Anyway did you have any girl you like Mr. Long Leg? People says someone who was in love, his heart will beat faster than usual. I wonder how it felt. I might never felt it after this.”

Tao stared at her with passion. Time likely to stop for both of them.

“I do have one”

“Really? What about you see me as your dream girl so I could checked how deep was your love for her!”her cheerful come back again.

“Sure. I promise you I make you happy right?”

He took her hand and put her hand on his broad chest. She was amazed by it. She could feel the beating.

“It was true after all. How lucky it was for that girl to have you.”

She was in danger in crying. She tried her best to hold up her tears from flowing but it was no use. Her body trembling. Not because of the trail of the train, but the fear inside her.

“I’m scared..I really really scared. I don’t want this fate. I can’t love him even an inch. Should I suffer myself for my own family? I already in dead end.”

She put her knee against her chest, arm crossed on the knee and she let herself sobbing so that when she get down from the train, she will have no regret and will promised to herself that if anything happened after that, she will keep fighting for everyone she care. Tao can’t withstand it anymore. He carried her on the shoulder out of sudden.

“Yah! Where are you taking me to?! Take me down now!”

“You know how ugly you are when you are crying!”he keep his pace continued even though everybody on the train stared at him with full of suspicion.

“People looking at us Mr. Long Leg! I say put me down before I lose my respect on you!”

Tao just ignored her screaming and what more shocking was he took her into the men restroom. He only put her down when he locked the door shut. He pinned her against the wall.

“What the hell are you doing?! I never asked for this! You the one who gave me hope to break myself free from other people grip when I was just about to give up my own life! Meeting you was a mistake!”

Before she could even finished her words, he raised her chin up and land his lips on her. At first she pushed him away.

“This is wrong..I couldn’t back stabbing him like this.”

Without concern about her mumbling , he just continued to kiss her small lips. She just stood still at the beginning, but at last she even responded to his kiss. Her heart wanting it more and more.  Her hand wrapped neatly around his neck and sometimes messing to his hair. But her tears won’t even stopped.

“Could you take me away from him? Will you? Both of us..ran away from this.”

Ran away. Things that never crossed his mind. He liked too but that’s mean he need to leave his career for her. Can he prepared for that? Could he leave everything he dreamt for her? When he didn’t replied to her, she knew her decision was nonsense. Must be startled to him.

“Sorry. I shouldn’t ask you to do that. You love someone else right? That kiss just want to comfort me.How naïve I were. Ah! I think the train will be arriving in Seoul soon enough. Let’s just get out from here!”

-Flashback end-

“He didn’t stop you and you too didn’t turn backed to him?” So Ra listen to Bo Mi story with full of concentration even though they actually was trapped in the traffic jam.

“Neither of us do like that. After that he lead his own life and I too in the end just stick with my decision to marry my fiancée.”

“Then..why you didn’t marry your fiancée at last?”

“Something happened to me that making him feel disgusted with me..it already past few years ago. I shouldn’t mentioned it back.”

So Ra took a tissue and blew her nose and wipe her tears.

“Your story touched my heart. Whatever it is you already happy with Tao now! I really glad! That old lady was right! You shouldn’t marry your fiancée ! Should I visit her so she could read mine?”she gave a hugged to Bo Mi and she just gave a smile.

“But unnie, he still my fake boyfriend up till now. His heart belonged to someone else.”Bo Mi said in her self.

“But Bo Mi..you are stupid too. You just know that Mr. Long Leg was Tao. You just knew after he told you the truth.”

She pushed So Ra away and make a puppy face.

“How could I recognize his face when he always wearing that stupid glasses and mask?!”

“Okey okey I got it. Keep calm Yoon Bo Mi.”she fan Bo Mi using her book to cool her down from exploding her volcano.

“Put that aside first, what my next schedule unnie?”

“I bet you will love this part. Boss chose it perfectly for you!”

Bo Mi already had a bad feeling. The best choice from boss means hell for her.

“Guess what?! You have a wedding photo shoot with Tao today! Omoo both of you become the model for wedding magazine this time. Let see which dress you will wear…”

“Unnie! You never mention about this!”she will be in hot soup because of embarrassment.

“I told you many times but you always deaf your ears when I read through your schedule. Isn’t it great? They might sponsor your wedding in the future. Kyaaaa I will be superb happy to see many of your wedding photo! You will be modeling for many top wedding dress designer in Korea today like Stephen Yearick, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta and Pronovias!”

“Why don’t we just turn back unnie?”

“Eh?”
