“Congratulation Miss Ji Ah,  you are in your 5^th week of pregnancy.”

“Hyang Min, don’t make a joke like that, will you?”Ji Ah then get down from the bed and sit right in front of Hyang Min, the obgyne doctor. Today she request for Hyang Min to come by her house for some medical check up since she always feel queasiness and getting tired so easily. She thought that maybe she had some women problem.

“Should I make it as a joke? Hahaha. I’m not Ji Ah. This friend of mine gonna be mother soon. You should told Lu Han about this soon. He will be super happy with this news I guess.”

Hyang Min then already packed up her stuff because she need to go back to hospital. She got too many patient that was waiting for her there. Because of Ji Ah, she had to postpone some of her patient appointment.

“I need to go now Ji Ah. I have many patient today. Next time make sure you make an appointment with me okey? I give you some medication that might help for your nausea. Then I take my leave first.”

“Wait up Hyang Min!”

“What is it Ji Ah? Did you need anything else?”

“No it just..you know my career right? So I want to…”Ji Ah don’t know what to say. She already confused when she knew she already pregnant. Another problem was Hyang Min, if she ever met with Lu Han, she might tell about it to him. Ji Ah can’t let Lu Han know about this. Not him.

“Ji Ah? I’m still here! Hello?”Hyang Min waved her hand in front of Ji Ah, making Ji Ah to regain her feet back to earth.

“I’m sorry..I want to ask you something.”

“Yes what is it?”

“Abortion.”

When Hyang Min hear the word ‘abortion’, she can’t believe to herself.

“So you are saying you want an abortion? Like that?”

Slowly, Ji Ah nodded. What she thought that time was just to save her career. Having a baby now might ruin her once and for all. In addition, she not even married yet. If she married Lu Han, she know her mother might chase her out from her life. Her mother won’t accept him no matter what. Not even after a thousand years.

“You are not in your mind Ji Ah. This is crazy! My other patient out there wanted me to help them save their baby or make them from impossible to pregnant to make it possible for them. And now look at you..you want to abort?”Hyang Min can’t say anything with Ji Ah decision. Ji Ah then hold Hyang Min hand, trying to beg Hyang Min to help her out this time.  

“Hyang Min, we know each other since both of us study in America. Just help me out this time. I can’t throw away my whole career like that. Not now when I was just about to rise in this industry.”

“Ji Ah, I know you are my friend and I understand you career, but abortion..I’m not dare enough to do that for you.”

“Hyang Min…”Ji Ah was about to cry. She can’t think anymore. She only see end of everything. This is too sudden for her. She regretting now. If she didn’t drunk that night, she won’t be in this crazy situation.

“Okey like this..you talked this over with Lu Han. Make your final decision. This can only be done once. I’m just afraid you will regret it later. If you are still with your decision, I can make an appointment with other doctor to do the abortion. I can’t do it. This is too much for me.”

“I got it. I will talk this out with him. But you must promise me that you won’t tell him about this okey?”

“Pinky promise. Now you should have some rest.”

After say goodbye to Ji Ah, Hyang Min took her leave. Ji Ah become restless. Having one beating heart inside her now is a big burden.

“I can’t let anyone know about this. Not even Lu Han!.”

“Bo Mi today you need to attend three photo shoot and one filming for Reebok CF. Should I tell you the time for each of it?”

Bo Mi totally ignored So Ra who sat next to her. It already her third time repeating to Bo Mi about her schedule today but she only gazing out at the window and put on her purple headphone and listen to her iPod. So Ra can only letting out her sighed. Bo Mi didn’t talked to her since this morning.

“We are here Bo Mi-ssi.”the driver inform them. Quickly Bo Mi put on her sunglasses and took out her mirror from her handbag to fix her hair a little. When she was ready, she opened the van door and make her way by herself, leaving So Ra behind.

“Bo Mi, wait for me!”

In a dash, she fasten her pace so she can catch up with Bo Mi.

“Director, I’m here. Sorry to keep you waiting.”Bo Mi went to greet the director for her photo shoot in CeCI magazine.

“It’s been a long time since I saw you Bo Mi! You become more beautiful nowadays.”

“You are flattering me too much Director. I’m really happy to work with you again.”

“Oh! Who you got here Bo Mi? Your friend?”

“She..she is my new manager.”it was hard enough for Bo Mi to introduce So Ra as her manager.

“My name is Kang So Ra. Nice to meet you director!”

Then, they shake hand as a greeting.

“You got a beautiful manager here Bo Mi. Don’t you interested in modelling Miss So Ra? There is one agency that needed a model. They asked for my help to search for some candidate. If you have time and interested, come for their audition!”

“What are you talking about director? I’m not that talented to be a model. Working as manager like this is good enough for me.”

“Yahh you are too humble Miss Kang, then you should take Bo Mi to the fitting room to get ready! Think about my offer okey? Here this is my business card.”the director hand out the small card and So Ra receive it with a good manner.

“Ah thank you, Director. I think I should be going now.”

Although it was cold in the studio, but to Bo Mi she already boiling there. Just when the director see So Ra, she felt like that she was being left out there. Feeling she was already being surpass by So Ra. But to So Ra, what the director told to her, she just consider it as a joke. While the stylist put up make up on Bo Mi, she noticed that So Ra keep smiling at her from the reflection at the huge mirror.

“Why did you smile? Did you really like the director’s compliment toward you?”

“No Bo Mi! Never in my mind! I just you know…it’s my first time seeing you this close. You are really beautiful in person. Like a goddess.”

“Thanks for the compliment but I’m not going to fall for it. People only know to take advantage on the other person right? Maybe you should just accept the director offer so you can quit being a manager. That way your life would be lot more better than now. You too don’t have to face me everyday!”

“But but I…”

Before she even finished her word, Bo Mi already get up from there and went to her photo shoot. She doesn’t want to hear any single word from her anymore. Bo Mi hatred toward So Ra become more and more.

“What should I do know? She really hate me!”

So Ra massaging her head, confused what to do to make Bo Mi accept her. When she being nice to her, Bo Mi will misunderstood her intention and said that she only do it just to win over her heart. Whatever she did that day, Bo Mi will complaint each of it. Luckily So Ra was very patience with her behavior.

“How about this sir?”

Tao look carefully at the dress that was chose by the shop assistant but then he shook his head.

“No I don’t want this! Next please.”Tao smiled at the girl, trying to please her. He know that she might already annoyed with him. That was the 13^th dress so far that she recommended to him. But none of it satisfied  with what he imagine.

“Sir! Did you really going to buy it or not? This already the 13^th dress!”

When he was busy choosing the dress, one women in her 40’s come in the shop. Quickly the shop assistant greet her.

“You are here Miss Yuka!”

“Yes yes..why there are too many dress take out from its place?”

“Ah about that..that sir..he already rejected all of it. I take out the best dress for him but still none of it fit his taste.”

“Then, I should greet him. Trouble man like him must be satisfied with my choice.”

Yuka walked elegantly to Tao.

“Excuse me sir, I apologize if my staff didn’t treat you nicely. Is the dress in here didn’t catch your eyes?”

"It's beautiful but not special."

"It must be my mistake because didn't make it more 'unusual'."

“Then noona, how about chose one for me?”

“You should call me earlier Huang Zi Tao.”

Then, Tao take off his shades and smile widely to Yuka. The shop assistant absolutely shocked. She never realized that the one who annoyed her this whole time was him.

“I’m sorry Sir Tao! I was so rude toward you just now!”

“Nahh its nothing! I think I was the one who was too picky.”he give a mesmerizing  smile to her. She feel like she going to faint just by seeing his smile. Dream come true.

“Ehem. You may dismissed now. I will handle him from here.”

“Ah sorry Miss Yuka. Then, I take my leave first.”

“And you Tao, don’t try to woo my worker here!”

“I’m not noona! I just smile at her! Don’t get me wrong!”

“For young people, your smile could make them fall in love in first sight. But not for the old women like me. Then tell me what kind of business did you have here?”

“Did you know my girlfriend?”

“You mean Yoon Bo Mi ssi? Your relationship with her was all over in the internet and stuff. How could I didn’t know about her? So you going to choose dress for her? Dinner perhaps?”

“Dinner is too lame noona. I’m going to take her for an occasion. Launching ceremony.”

“Launching? Must be attended by many rich guy. Then I give you my very best dress that I never revealed it yet to any fashion magazine but in return..I want her to be my model for my winter collection okey?”

“Deal. Then should you introduce me with this 'mysterious' dress of yours?”

“Don’t be too rush. You gonna love it. Come I show it to you.”

They walked together to the second floor of the storey and went into the glass room which is Yuka office. She then pulled the big curtain in her room which she placed her masterpiece beyond the curtain.

“I called it ‘The Midnight Cinderella’. y and elegant. How do you like it? I could make a suit for you to match up with this dress.”

“You are the best noona. This is what I want. You never disappointed me designer Yuka.”

“Thanks for the compliment. Then, I think I should start typing the contract right?”

Tao just nodded at her and gaze back at the dress. No word to say. It really fabulous and it was made very perfectly.

“Bo Mi should be really beautiful wearing this dress.”

“Starting now this is your room.”

Bo Mi showed So Ra to her room. The room that used to be belong to Se Kyung.

“It really huge. By the way did you want to eat something Bo Mi? You look tired”

“I don’t eat in late night. It will affect my figure.”

Then, she just walked into her own room and closed the door.

“Kang So Ra, she was a model. There is no way she ate in late night. Get your brain always remember that she was a top star. Top star!”So Ra murmuring to herself in front of the mirror in her new room. Then she look around inside the room. Very neat and simple.

“Hum? What is this? Look like some kind of diary.”she found one brown book on the desk. At first she resisted to look through it but her curiosity took over her and she began to read it.

“Shin Se Kyung…this must be the owner name. Se Kyung? Isn’t it was the name of Bo Mi past manager?”

But then she closed the book back and put it back to it’s original placed. She turned her head away from looking at it and walked to her bed. She put her handbag on the bed and do some stretching instead to relax her tired body. But she kept thinking about the diary.

“Should I read it? Erghh no no Kang So Ra! That was someone secret! Be a good girl and ignored it presence!”

She kept forcing herself not to look at it but her innerself keep pushing her to read it. Between angle and devil.

“Dear Se Kyung who was up there, I am deeply sorry. I think I’m going to read your diary. Please forgive me!”

She give up to vanish her curiosity. So Ra then walked to the study desk and sit on the round black office chair. She switch on the table light,tied up her hair and put on her spectacle.

“Let see what Se Kyung had to say about herself. Maybe there is something I need to know about Bo Mi so that she will like me in the future.”
