Just an Antique Shop.Jessica's POV
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This was all going too fast. Yuri was in hopsital, now prison? I couldn't help but cry for hours and hours. I loved her. Well, she wasn't in prison yet - but she was in court. I knew, with her killing Sooyoung, there wasn't a chance she was getting out of this.
The next day, there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see Hyoyeon - puffed eyes and red. I invited her in, and she immediately launched herself over me in tears. Sooyoung was dead, and she was her lover. I couldn't help but cry for her.
"She's gone, Jessica." she cried into my shoulder. I comforted her, and then got her to stop.
"Hyoyeon. You need to tell me why Yuri did that." I asked, holding her shoulders. Hyoyeon turned white.
"She had to tell you something, and me and Sooyoung told her to tell you - but she didn't listen and got into an argument with us. She threw a match on the ground next to us, then there was an explosion." Hyoyeon replied through her sobs. I listened, then pouted.
"What did she want to tell me?" I asked quickly, shaking her.
"That she killed your father."
The world blanked out again - just like it did when I was at the lake. Why... She killed my father? She was the one who did it? My precious Yuri, who I kissed and made love to? Who's back I scratched to peices? That Yuri.
"No. Surely you're wrong, Hyoyeon." I protested. She shook her head, and hugged me.
"I'm so so sorry, Jessica. She's heartless. J-just trust me on this." Hyoyeon explained. I nodded, and took it all in. I was suprised on how I wasn't that upset. I was relieved. Only because all that time since my father died, I wanted his murderer to be jailed. Now he was. I sighed, and Hyoyeon and I sat there watching the news and waiting for the court results.
Later that day, the news was revealed.
'Kwon Yuri, the girl who killed two people and set fire to a shop, has been announced guilty. She'll be serving twenty years for manslaughter and violence. News will follow at 6p.m'
It was official. She was out of my life - I decided to clean the slate. She was no longer my lover, my friend or a stranger. She was... nothing to me.
