The Antique Shop.

Just an Antique Shop.

I twirled round on my foot to the rhythm of 'Swan Lake'. My puffed up tutu was a perfect fit, and curled round me like a rope. My hair, that was perfect and tied up in a little bun, was now flowing down my back like a waterfall - all the way to the middle of my spine. Next to me was the man of my dreams - Micheal. He was jumping in the air like a dove, and then landing back down without a sound. He was perfect - in every way and form.

We'd been going out for over 5 months now - and my love for him was endless. After all, he was my best friend, big brother and ballet partner. I had known him for over 11 years of my 16. However, he wouldn't put me off my ballet. Not ever.

I jumped in the air, and landed with my feet perfectly positioned on the ground for the finale. Micheal ran up, and picked me up - putting me over his head and balancing. I smiled straight ahead, and I could feel the real emotion of being perfect. Hell to it, I already was.

My moment had finished, and Micheal put me down. The clapping started. I looked around at the class, and then my teacher - quickly scribbling on her clipboard. My teacher, Maddeme Nayvous, was great. She told me I was destined for greatness, and that I should be world class. I already knew that, obviously, but I really followed her words. Since 2 years old, she'd been like a mother to me. After looking round, Micheal kissed my neck - burrying his head into it.

"That was great, Sica." he said, his head still in the crook of my neck. I smirked.

"Thanks. You weren't to bad yourself. Now, get off me. I need to get my results." I said, pushing him off me from his toned stomach. He chuckled as I walked to my teacher.

"No wonder they call you 'Ice Princess'!" He said, before walking out to the changing rooms.

"So, Maddame, how did I do?" I asked, smiling brightly at her while the class looked up for answers on my progress.

"Just great. You'll be getting the lead role, for sure." she replied. "Class finished, all remember to practise for the show. It's two weeks away, don't dissapoint. Turn up tomorrow for lessons, you hear?"

"Yes, Maddame." the rest of the class replied, getting up and leaving. I walked over to my best friend, Taeyeon, and my younger sister, Krystal. Taeyeon was funny. I had known her all my life - she was awesome. My younger sister, Krystal who was 14, was ok. She wasn't as 'star quality' as me though!

"You were great, Sica." Krystal beamed. I smiled.

"Thanks, Kry."

"Jessi! You were amazing!" Taeyeon agreed, and congratulated me. I smiled and laughed.

"Wow, guys. You were both good, too." I smiled. I picked up my water bottle, and left with them to the changing rooms.

After a quick change, we left the Ballet University. This was my second home, and I loved it. Ballet was my life.

"So," Taeyeon started as we walked out of campus and on to the cold streets of Seoul, "I went out with my dog when we were walking, and I found another way home. It's just through the woods. Want to go?" she smirked, raising her eyebrows. I looked at the floor. I wasn't scared - well, I was actually. It was 8 at night, and I knew this area of Seoul was full with gangs at this time.

"Uh..." I murmered, looking to Krystal. I expected Krystal to be the same, but she was begging to go! In the end, it was 2 against 1 and we had to go.

As we approached the wooden gate to the woods, my eye caught a faded yellow sign that read 'NO TRESSPASSING. DO NOT ENTER.' I gasped, and turned to the two girls who I thought were on my right. However, they were already climbing over the gate. I looked down the street and saw six teenage girls with vodka in their hands and were shouting like nothing else. It was a life or death matter to me, and I litterally sprinted to the gate and jump/fell over it. The other two girls laughed at me as I got mud in my face. I pouted at them.

"Guys... Stop." I laughed, getting up. They stopped laughing and we started walking. Not long after we did, however, the six teen girls were climbing over the gate too - smashing their bottles on the floor while drunkly jumping over.

"Uh, guys..." I whispered to Krystal and Taeyeon. "We have company." Before the two could reply, an unfamiliar voice shouted down the woods.

"Hey you three! Come here! Wanna buy some drinks? They're cheap! We have some smokes too! C'mon!" they shouted. We walked faster.

"Awh, too scared? Running home to your mommy? Haha, we'll give you something to cry for!!" they yelled, jogging after us. Taeyeon gasped and screamed; "RUNN!!" We didn't need anymore convincing. We sprinted through the woods, and unfortunatley, due to a mad getaway, missed the turning off to our houses. We ended up at another gate - this time, a big one. It was black and golden, however worn out and rusty. There were words on it, and I could only just make out what it said: Seoul Town - 1820.

"Wow." the three of us said at the same time in amazement. We looked at it, and just stood there - staring. We'd lost the girls, luckily, but were also lost. The adrenaline was pumping through my body, and I decided to take a chance.

"C'mom." I smirked, beggining to climb the big gate. The girls didn't need to be told twice, and as soon as we knew it - we were up and over the big gate. I jumped down, and looked around. I couldn't help but gasp. There were old, victorian houses. They weren't just old and abandoned, either, but instead - perfectly kept. This wasn't the Seoul I knew and grew up with. There were no busy streets or people rushing. Here, just a few late night tourists and couple. There was a bridge that went over a river where you could get canals. Little sweet shops, with thousands of stick treats in the window. Kids would be amazed by just this sight. The streetlamps lit up the cobble road - it was just heaven.

The girls instantly ran up to a toy shop, but I couldn't help but notice a blue little 'cottage' shop. It had the words 'Antique Shop' on it. I smiled, and walked up to the window. Pressing my head against it, I noticed clocks. A lot and a lot of clocks. For a while, I was in a trance. As much as I wanted to enter it, I couldn't. It was closed. My trance was interupted by the sound of Taeyeon's phone.

"Hello? Oh mom!.....Ok....Yes, Ok... Ok. Yep.... Sorry! Bye." she hung up. "My mom said if we're not home in two minutes - we're grounded for life."

At that, we sprinted.

When I arrived home, and after an argument with my mother about the time, I couldn't help but think about the shop. After school tomorrow, I'd go there. I'd visit. I got into bed, and was taken away with a whirl of dreams about the old, mysterious town.
